Guest Reviews
- Sue (6/5): We went to 3 counties show group so was ideal location and very spacious for 1. night for 3 of us. - The size of the property was good and location exactly what we wanted.
Kitchen facilities were great. No door to the en suite in main bedroom.
None of the blinds over windows rolled right down and so people walking past could look in.
Duvet cover ripped on main bed.
Outside space needs attention before anyone could use it
- Gundrada (9/5): -
- Susan (2/5): - Blinds too small for windows so a large gap at the bottom . They were very cheap and the pull strings fell apart every time we tried to pull them down / pull them up. The window were large and onto the street . No door into en suite so anyone coming into bedroom could see the loo plus the blind issue also came into play. The dishwasher worked for a short while halfway through the cycle and the alarm went off with an error code. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but all the other rooms had been furnished ‘on a budget’. Outside was scruffy so first impression was drain smell and lots of weeds plus the outside table and chairs was unusable both from their condition and the unkempt surroundings. More guests arrived to stay in the apartment above and the noise was unacceptable .
The positive for this property was the location so a pity it didn’t live up to photos inside , and the outside was scruffy.
- Jeff (10/5): What a refreshing retreat to our family as we entered the Kingsdown apartment! - I loved the cleanness of this property. And the beds were so comfortable and beautifully made and we felt so welcome after a long drive to the house. Two showers were helpful to have with our large family. The surrounding area was so beautiful and the next door neighbor was so kind and nice to us! There weren't very many cooking utensils to prepare a meal although we made do and we were able to make a full spaghetti dinner. Pot holders would be helpful (Oven Mitts) Also, not being able to park in front of the house was a bit difficult to unload.
- Genevieve (7/5): - Good for what we needed, and excellent value for money. A little stressful to find in the dark.
- Caroline (8/5): - Smart and comfortable apartment in a superb location. Had all we needed for the weekend. Detailed instructions made check in very straightforward. We had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you for hosting us.
- Carla (10/5): -
- Jim (8/5): -
- Evie (7/5): - Great bedrooms and comfortable beds.
Lots of bathrooms.
Good location. A little disappointed and inconvenient there was not any wifi (that we could find!) as we were going to a wedding and trying to organise taxis etc was difficult.
Also no ironing board (that we could find anyway despite searching high and low) which again was a little inconvenient with having wedding guest outfits which needed ironing…
- Tommy (9/5): -
- Simon (6/5): - Excellent location. Hairs found on all three beds.
No door to en suite toilet in main bedroom.
- CHRISTINE (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Kelly (10/5): -
- M (5/5): Passable and good value for three rooms. - 3 bedrooms Having late access to the keys made us late for an event. We had to rent another hotel room just to get ready. However, we kept the reservation at the last minute because host finally answered the door. Also, bathroom soap/shampoo/basics. A couple of towels smelled bad but enough spare in the closet. Cobwebs in the bathroom. Not clean enough.
- Fiona (10/5): -
- Joanna (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (7/5): Good - Good location
- Graham (8/5): Fair value for a one night stopover - There was lots of room for three people. The place can sleep 8 but this would be very crowded. The beds were comfortable. Good value. Parking wasn't as straight forward as expected.
The lounge TV relies on internet connection and there isn't any internet - why have a TV?
- Philip (10/5): Lovely apartment in great location -
- Joanna (8/5): A good experience which might have been made even better with some helpful info in the apartment. - The apartment was very well equipped, with three toilets. Everything was very clean and tidy. The TV included Netflix (a bonus with children). The location is rather noisy, next to a road with a rough, pot-holed surface. Beyond appliance guides, there was no printed information (so we only found that there was no wi-fi by failing to locate a router after a search; there were two waste bins in the kitchen but it was unclear which was for recycling, what materials can be recycled in that local authority and if black bags needed to be put into dustbins).
- Tracy (10/5): Malvern - Absolutely perfect everything spotless and a beautiful apartment x Zero
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Very quiet location. Wonderful views. N/A
- Lynette (8/5): Overall the stay was pleasant and the location was ideal. The host was also very responsive. - The property was clean and welcoming. The heating works very well. Although we were aware of the parking situation, it’s not ideal not having parking right outside the property.
I also didn’t like the blinds in the main bedroom which don’t cover the entire windows and limits privacy as the room faces the main road and the morning light shines through.
Lastly, as a personal preference, I didn’t like the fact that the main en-suite toilet and shower does not have a door.
- Marcel (7/5): Nice flat in great location - Flat was nice, modern, super clean. Easy access via self collection of key via lockbox. Flat was well described and easy to find. Location of flat is great for walk and hikes. The flat hadn't been heated for a while, and when we arrived it was 6.5C in the flat.
It took the best part of 24 hours to become comfortable. I would have wished the landlord had turned the heating on at least in the morning before we arrived. Hence my super low comfort rating.

- David (8/5): Very good -
- Anne (8/5): A wonderful walking location! - A wonderful location for exploring the Malvern Hills and surrounding places. Cafes and pubs within easy walking distance. Light and modern apartment. Plenty of space. Warm duvets and plenty of towels. Heating was on all the time and regulated at night, so it was very good for a winter stay. Some of the doors squeaked a lot, but that might be because it was winter. Elderly people might find the separate toilet a little difficult because of space. Parking can be tricky if you don't want to park on the main road - we know the area and recommend parking a little further up the hill, on West Malvern road. You can also pay to park during the day in the Malvern Hills Conservators' car park just beyond the church, but there is no overnight parking here.
- Lorna (10/5): Lovely spacious clean apartment comfortable beds we all thoroughly enjoyed out stay - Lovely clean spacious apartment near to theatre had all facilities we needed for comfortable stay
- Mari (10/5): Excellent apartment for family stay. - Fantastic apartment. Everything we needed and more
Tastefully furnished with beautiful art work.
We had a wonderful time celebrating with our family.
Enough room for us all.
Comfortable beds.
Free parking.
Our host was helpful from the start
Would love to stay here again.
Highly recommended. Leaving.
- Amanda (8/5): Enjoyable 😀 - Comfortable and clean Short blinds in the lounge and one bedroom left us feeling exposed, couldn’t find WiFi code
- Chris (8/5): An enjoyable break in a lovely part of the country - The location was excellent, with access to the Malvern Hills on the door step and lovely views. The apartment was spacious well appointed and very suitable for 6 or 7 people. The mattress in the the master room has come to the end of its life and led to poor sleep. The blinds in the front rooms are too short and look like School boys trousers in April which when coupled with the "feature" of no door on the Ensuite led to a feeling of being a little exposed in the room. We also found that not having a door and bright lighting in the ensuite resulted in disturbed sleep for the partner when one needed to use the room at night. We also felt that a few small additions such as a shelf in the bathroom and purposed bed side lamps could have made the stay more comfortable and enjoyable.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): It was good for a one-night stay. - Beds were very comfortable.
Good kitchen facilities. Heating was not on when we arrived and it was quite cold.
Blinds were 6 inches too short.
I didn't use the shower but my wife said it ran either very hot or too cold.
Bathrooms and toilet were very tight for space.
Booking.com gave us incorrect post code and incorrect PIN for the keysafe.
- Ffion (9/5): Just what was needed. - Great convenient location, clean and spacious. Perfect for the occasion. Slightly colder as we would have liked, but didn’t affect our stay.
- Rhianna (8/5): Very good - Responsive host, clean and comfortable stay in a beautiful setting.
- Caroline (8/5): Very good - Location was great as we were at the Malvern Hills Bicycle Event. The flat was well equipped for us as we had everything we needed. The master bedroom’s mattress was very uncomfortable as it was sunken in at the sides and a hump in the middle of the mattress. The blinds didn’t close to the bottom so my privacy was compromised; it wouldn’t have mattered but the window faces towards the public street.
- Lesley (8/5): Great apartment, parking on the road was fine too. - The details sent to us was for the upstairs apartment. Unfortunately when we arrived there was someone already inside. We arrived at 11pm, and were concerned about the mix up as we were stuck outside. When the owner was contacted, we were given the code for the downstairs apartment. So all was well.
- Tracey (10/5): Great place - Lots of room clean and had everything you needed Nothing
- Gill (9/5): Really enjoyed it, nice comfortable apartment, perfect for our trip - The property was nice and clean snd a short drive from the town centre -
- Gill (9/5): We had a lovely stay and we were very pleased with the accommodation - N/A
- Kimberley (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious and had a luxury feel, everything was straight forward and we enjoyed our stay.
- Amanda (9/5): Perfectly located for a visit to Malvern - Well decorated to a high standard and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Good find. Fabulous views of the Malvern hills. No on-site parking but plenty of parking nearby. A sliding door in the en-suite bathroom would provide more privacy.
- Carole (8/5): Very good -
- Maddy (8/5): Great location, great host! - Great location and great host, very quick to answer any queries and let us check in early. Great facilities too! Nothing, maybe a door on the toilet in the bedroom but can’t have it all!
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Great location. Good facilities. We'll equipped kitchen.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (8/5): A spacious flat with lovely views from 2 of the rooms and a very helpful owner - Lovely views from the front 2 rooms. Smart interior. Owner very responsive and helpful. Spacious and clean, would be comfortable for as many as 7 people. the blurb almost undersells the space; there are 2 bathrooms and a WC. Terrace is just a shabby concrete area with bins and old furniture. Could be smartened up. Bed was very hard. Blinds do not cover windows properly. Wifi instructions not provided in property. Not a particularly convenient area for shops, restaurants etc.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pengxiang (9/5): Superb -
- Hannah (8/5): Very good -
- Bissell (10/5): Lovely stay, ideal for families. Would like to stay again - Everything, good well kept clean property
- Bethany (7/5): Great location, would recommend - Location and easy check in Specifically asked for all the beds including the sofa bed to be made up. This wasn’t done.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - Home from home, there wasn’t anything you didn’t need
- Gwyn (8/5): Great location for the Malvern Hills -
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was amazing. Well equipped & perfect for 7 of us. Location was fantastic Nothing
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful apartment
- Ian (6/5): A pleasant stay and a responsive host, with easy check in. There are a number of issues to resolve. - This is a good apartment being held back by a few issues, most of which could be easily resolved. It has been recently refurbished mostly to a high standard, but should have been finished better. The kitchen and sitting room were nice and the beds and bathrooms good. Location-wise it was ideal for us. 1. No door on the en suite bathroom, making it unsuitable for two people. We used it for a single person. This is a major problem.
2. The blinds don’t fit the windows, which lets everything down and is unacceptable in the front bedroom.
3. There were lots of towels but they were all new and hadn’t been washed, so they were hopeless to get dried with. They were also too small.
4. Lighting in the main bathroom is poor above the mirror.
5. There is no towel rail in the en suite.
6. There was no book of useful information, such as instructions for the heating, or suggestions of places to go.
- Jan (9/5): Great place for the family to get together - Lovely apartment, all mod cons No door on en suite. Could not turn down the heating
- Naomi (9/5): Comfortable and well located. - The property was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We could hear the people in the apartment upstairs very clearly.
- Roberts (10/5): Exceptional - Well furnished apartment. Very comfortable and homely.
- Adele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (8/5): Ideal for our purpose, would stay again. - Very good location, easy access with key lock box, well equipped. Good communication from owner.
- Anselmo (8/5): Very good - The place was newly refurbished at the time of our stay. Very clean and spacious. No Internet access, can't blame the place coz, it says on their property description. But hopefully soon they can install.
- Tony (6/5): Heap price and not clean. - Location is good. The staff is helpful. The amenities provided for the kitchen are not sufficient. No milk in the fridge for coffee. Some radiators are not working, one at the far most bedroom on the ground floor. No face towel is prepared. The premises is just renovated and it should be cleaned before visitors use. The duvet smells and it is not clean.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very comfortable ground floor flat - All very newly refurbished and clean. Comfortable beds and sofas. Great having 3 double beds and 3 toilets. Could do with a few more utensils in the
Kitchen such as cafetierre. Some milk in the fridge would have been nice on arrival.
Some noise from the apartment upstairs but wouldn't put me off staying again.
- Bev (8/5): Very good -
- Jarnail (9/5): Great cosy place for a nice relaxing weekend - Lovely property and host in a great location a great place to stay with very well equipped kitchen and too many positives to mention, I would definitely recommend and stay again. for some reason we couldn’t get connected to the wifi, host did come and try to reset router but still no joy, shower in Master bedroom was very temperamental,
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
