Guest Reviews
- ToyaB (9/5): - Quiet
Cosy
Private
Easy to book
Friendly staff Nothing.
- Amara (10/5): Lovely stay highly recommend - I had a lovely stay. The place was spotless, cosy, and exactly as described. The host was welcoming and quick to respond, which made everything easy. I’d happily stay again. Nothing to complain
- Allan (1/5): Not what we expected - We unfortunately did not stay at the Cozzy Accomodation No.2 Garswood Road 2nd May. After a 3 hour drive we arrived at the property around 4pm & rang the ring doorbell several times with a message stating it may take a while to get back to you? (assumed someone was at the property to let us in). I then proceeded to call the contact number for the property 07702 682003 to which no one was answering & no way of leaving a message. My partner then sat back in the car as she didn't feel safe. I also returned to the car and tried to contact you again via mobile no, again no one answering. We then had to make a quick decision as were at a function early evening & booked an Ibis Hotel at considerable additional expense (I am well out of pocket now). A couple of things stood out with your property which unnerved my partner & myself; the condition of the garden & the fact that a parking space couldn't be possibly reserved (as per your website info) as there were 2 large cars under covers??? I did not feel happy parking my car on the pavement / road. A line of wheelie bins to one side of the unkempt garden doesn't exactly instil confidence that this is going to be a great stay. The pics on booking.com only show 2 pics of a room? Obviously, I booked on the strength of this only. I was unaware that this property was 'self check-in' & that an email approx. 90 minutes before my check-in time had been sent which included instructions on how to access the property......I was on the road for 3 hours & had no access to my emails that day & only picked it up the day after. All in all not a pleasant experience
- Patryk (1/5): Nie polecam.

- ToyaB (9/5): - Landlord was accommodating to my check in times.
Property was clean, tidy, well decorated and very comfortable to stay in. All was to my liking
- Amara (10/5): A clean, cosy, and comfortable stay that made my trip easy and enjoyable. - I really enjoyed how clean, cosy, and well presented the room was. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully arranged, from the neatly folded towels to the comfortable bed. There wasn’t anything major to complain about.
- Shaun (1/5): Complete waste of time and money - absolutely no chance of parking on-site as there’s dumped cars on drive - Advert said there’s on-site parking I turned up and there is two dumped old cars on the drive - there’s NO parking possible There is no parking on-site - just two dumped cars in the driveway
- Yosief (1/5): No - Is that scammer or really hotel It’s not really hotel
- melanie (6/5): -
- John (7/5): Did what it needed to do thank you - Just the room Sink was blocked
- KAME OBINNA (10/5): I booked for 2nights but stayed for one night and I enjoyed myself and can’t wait to come back soon - Calmness and clean The room was very nice
- Humeniuk (8/5): -
- Tayyba (8/5): - Easy to access, good communication with owner
- Rachael (7/5): It's ok - It was ok.
I liked the electric blanket! Listing states parking cancelled be reserved. I asked several times prior to our stay about booking parking and this was ignored. Parking is available on street if you are lucky enough to find a space. This is not clear in the listing
It is expensive for what it is. Walls are paper thin. Yay spoilt by other loud guests although I appreciate this is not the fault of the owners.
Loud macerator in the toilet which means you couldn't flush if your partner was sleeping.
Lots of dust in the bathroom especially on the toilet roll holder.
Modem/wires all over, looks messy and would question how safe it is to have extension lead plugged into extension lead.
Location is not central which is a shame although knew this when booked. We only booked this accommodation because booking.com cancelled our previous one and had to find a substitute quickly.

- Vitor (5/5): - Warm bed, clean room. The room was too cold , the radiator didn't work.
- Abdulrahman (8/5): Very Cozy and Comfortable Stay - Communication about how to access the premises was excellent! I like the room very cozy and comfortable especially the electric blanket kept me worm during the cold night. The kitchen is fully equipped for use. Someone's alarm was going on and on, I don't know if it was from the neighboring house or a fellow stayer! That's happened in the morning of my last day. Otherwise everything was just brilliant !

- Mehari (10/5): -
- Timbo (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (4/5): A very clean, tidy and comfortable room but in a noisy building. - An interesting property. This is very much a room within a house offering 4 such rooms, and so you are beholden to the noise and behaviour of occupants in the other rooms.
That said the location was excellent for access to the MRI, Curry Mile and the Alexandra Park Park Run.
The ensuite was very clean, with an excellent shower and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Tea, Coffee and water were provided. Noise from neighbouring room and coming and going of care-workers. If I had had to stay another night, I'd have looked somewhere else in order to get a good night's sleep. I accept that this situation is reflected in the price though.
Parking was on-street/ pavement outside the building
- Adewumi (1/5): Lied about the type of accommodation - Nothing Deceitful
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Kate (10/5): Excellent base for a night at Old Trafford - Easy to find with clear instructions. Room was very clean with everything you could need - tea, coffee, fridge, fan, heated blanket etc! Excellent base for a night at Old Trafford - about an hour's walk, or a £10 Uber. Fairly small room - wouldn't want to be based there for more than a night or 2
- Eleni (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (7/5): Fit for purpose. Not value for money - Provided heated blanket on the bed The heating wasn’t working? Short of Toiletries. Bedroom door wasn’t very secure and could hear other guests
- Carole (4/5): Disappointing -
- Rahimi (5/5): Passable -
- Martin (8/5): Very good -

- Peggy (8/5): Convenient stay in Manchester - Very clean, there is everything you need. Free parking. Quiet. Responsive and helpful owner. Small double a bit small for 2 (but initially booked just for me!)
- Gemma (9/5): Really lovely accommodation would highly recommend and will definitely use again 😀 - Really easy to check in, which was a pleasant surprise with being non contact. Spoke to staff on the phone who were really friendly and helpful. Was able to park my car on the drive which was a massive bonus. Room was really good quality. Bed was so cozy and comfy. It was 28° so was thrilled to see a good quality fan in the room. Some noise late night and very early morning from room next door but no fault of the staff/owner
- Emily (1/5): Bad - Nothing The hotel cancelled the night before we were due to get there, me and my friend had booked this way in advance and had booked expensive train tickets to come down from London to stay in Manchester which were none refundable. We were left stranded and it ruined our weekend. They offered a replacement hotel which was over an hour away and nowhere near amenities.
- Samantha (7/5): Good - An emergency booking after my initial accommodation fell through. Location, nowhere near where I wanted to be.
- Dler (8/5): Very good -
- Sebastian (1/5): Didn’t stay in the end as owner didn’t know how to answer their phone or return a call. - Wouldn’t know as the owner didn’t answer phone once when I wanted to ask about early check in as we attended a festival so wouldn’t make it till late and found somewhere else to stay
- Adventure (9/5): Definitely recommend!! - Really good communication upon arrival, fantastic security, very clean room, well equipped couldn't fault it in any way also perfect location! Literally just the toothbrushes, but they are free, so I can't complain at all!
- Stephen (1/5): Disappointed as Cozzy Accommodation cancelled our stay less than 24 hours prior to our stay. - The price and location were just what we needed when I booked the accommodation several months ago. Cozzy Accommodation cancelled my booking less than 24 hours before our stay making it nigh on impossible for us to find reason accommodation for the event we were going to.
The reason was the room had become damaged. Which is fair enough but they could have informed sooner.
Also took several days to get the refund thus not helping us when needing alternative accommodation. Happy to take our money straight away though.
- Herridge (8/5): Very good -
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (10/5): Perfect stay! Great location, beautiful room , spotlessly clean and had everything you could ever need, for a break away - It had every possible thing you could ask for, and more! It was an easy place to find, excellent parking and spotlessly clean. Also, the man who was there on our arrival went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted and even gave us a lift into town. Perfect! Nothing.
- Collins (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tashamc1012000 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alys (8/5): Clean, comfortable, convenient (for us) and well equipped place to stay. - In our opinion it was well thought through accommodation. The ensuite room was very comfortable and had all that we might need. The shared kitchen/lounge area was very clean and well equipped, with plenty of space. The toilet in the ensuite was noisy at times overnight (sounded like a pump that whirred into life?). I was able to get back to sleep pretty quickly and ignore it, but it might bother some people. Perhaps it needs an adjustment.
- Mark.h (4/5): Disappointing - Electric blanket. No greeting, ring door bell going off at past 10pm, then lots of noise person in room next to me took about 5 minutes to work out what key to use to get in their room, then was shouting downstairs to someone at gone 11pm. Ruined my sons Sunday cause he was over tired.
- Giles (8/5): Efficient clean impersonal - Sort of impersonal since there are no staff, you let yourself in, and you cook up your own breakfast, but the fridge was generously supplied, at least for meat eaters. There was no way to tell from the outside that it was a hotel
- Ntaadu (9/5): Superb -
- Konrad (9/5): Very good, - Positively surprised when entered the room, there was everything ready for us including tootbrushes with tooth paste and toiletries, towels etc. Access to well equiped kitchen and living room. Coffee and tea, sugar, milk and honey for morning ready was us in the room. Very nice and helpfull person who Took care of the whole house. We have a room downstairs, next to the kitchen, some morning noises everytime someone got in or out the kitchen, soundproof doors would be a good idea there.
- John (7/5): Good -
- Kenwyn (5/5): Passable -
- Gareth (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): wonderful ☺️ - Lovely cosy little place, with all the mod cons and little extras like a heated blanket and hair styling equipment which were a nice little touch 👍🏽it is in a nice quiet location but not too far from town/shops etc. Private parking in the drive if required too. The owner was really lovely, friendly and helpful. This will be our accommodation when visiting Manchester again in the future. Thank you for a lovely comfy stay 🙂 Nothing to add here.
- Zsolt (10/5): Exceptional - - Incredible comfortable, everything is brand new and luxurious - It was a bit too close to a big street, so you couldn’t leave the windows open because of the noise
- Rosanna (6/5): It was okk - The bed was comfortable it was clean good location to shops supermarket Had kettle cups milk sugar but no coffee or tea provided also someone had use toilet n not flushed b4 we arrived and isn't worth £100 mayb £60 or £70 max for just one bedroom
- Graham (3/5): Disappointing - Did not have breakfast No towels or tea bags in room.Got woken up at 4am by guests downstairs making incredible noise till 6am!!!!
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Timur (8/5): Very good - room design was great and tv entertainment was spot on just had problems with front door locks
- Abhijeet (6/5): Pleasant -
- Yusuf (10/5): Pleasant and comfortable - The room was clean, cozy and well furnished. I absolutely loved the kitchen since it was very well equipped, not just in terms of appliances and other kitchenware but also basic food items stocked in the fridge.
- Stephanie (5/5): Fur coat but no knickers - The room was nice, with lots of little touches, Netflix, slippers, proper electrical hair equipment. En-suite. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was terrible, I felt unsafe. It felt like being in the middle of a rough council estate. I didn’t want to leave my car parked on the road.
I felt as if I was forced to stay in my room. I felt like an intruder, it had the feel of an HMO with long term residents. There was a communal area with kitchen, and the landlady said I could use, but I didn’t feel comfortable doing so. It looked like it had residents personal stuff.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
