- Adrian (5/5): - I have to be really honest that , I probably should have done my homework , when I googled green vale apartments it showed 2 blocks of flats with a car park ( space was important ) . On arrival given the actual door address , which you cannot see from the road . I was surprised to find the apartment is a ground floor flat in a social housing block . As I was early the owner allowed me in early , The parking was a issue , the cars opposite have the road the apartment side of the road you have mount and park on the pavement , which is illegal? The chap that lived above ( very quiet no noise ) decided to mow the front lawn about 930pm one night with a petrol lawn mower. Inside it’s very dark , a few more lamps would help, it’s all big lights which are harsh , I had to change the bathroom bulb , then power on the boiler for hot water ( not mentioned ) . Tv had no aerial so you at the mercy of the internet which is terrible, I worked from there for a couple of days and had to reset the router about 20 times a day just using email and listening to radio. The Sofa bed in the lounge is tired and uncomfortable as a sofa !, the main bed was ok. The all the rooms were clean , although it did have a feel no one stayed there in a while . It was 10mins from the NEC , pub and shops were a drive away and was huge open space next to the airport , which is close but not an issue . It’s a shame the first impression outside looks scruffy and unkept, I wouldn’t stay there again.
