JAIME (9/5): Un bonito lugar para disgrutar de la naturaleza con personal cordial. - Lo mejor fue la atención y cordialidad del personal. Hubo una pre adolescente que a su corta edad mostró una sabiduría impresionante en el conocimiento del orquideareo, sabe dar explicaciones agradables y profundas de cada una de las plantas y flores. Ella nos hizo un completo recorrido por el lugar. El calefón deja de funcionar mientras te estás bañando. Tuve que terminar bañandome en agua fría. Esto no es culpa del personal sino de que el propietario corrija estas anomalías. La chapa de la puerta del baño no estaba completamente funcional.

José (10/5): Paraiso Orquideario un sitio ideal - Estaba todo bien el alojamiento fue de lo mejor. Tienen agua caliente todo el tiempo. El sitio es muy tranquilo. Me facilitaron un parlante sin costo alguno. Solo no me gusto que no tuviera televisión.

Caroline (6/5): Budget but chilly stay in beautiful garden - The cabins are set in a beautiful garden and I saw hummingbirds from the terrace. I could explore the orchid houses at any time. The staff were really kind and friendly. The rate for single travellers is very good value. The walk down to Banos took about an hour but was down very scenic paths The cabin was uninsulated and unheated with obvious gaps in the construction so it did get quite cold on the damp misty evenings I was there. The breakfast room is only opened at breakfast time so there was nowhere else to sit. The gardens are open to the public, right up to the cabins so there is a potential lack of security and privacy - although there were few visitors when I was there. THis may be why the curtains of the cabin were designed to be shut the whole time so, unless you tied them in a knot you didn't actually have the benefit of the beautiful outlook from within the cabin. Please change them so they can be opened! On my second evening there was a loss of power to my cabin although the gardens were still lit so it wasn't a general powercut. I went to report it but ended up falling asleep before it was fixed. THe second night it went off again. This time it was fixed more rapidly when I made it clear I wasn't happy but it did flicker a bit so I think there's something wrong with the supply. The light was not really good enough to read by and there was no bedside switch - a reading light would have been appreciated. It is a long way back up the hill and the buses are infrequent so factor in cost of taxis to your costs. The cheapest was 6 dollars. Check the price before getting in though.
