Guest Reviews
- Carlo (6/5): Never again! - Location The host wasn’t replying to messages. The shower was broken and very dirty, the toilet seat wasn’t attached, the air condition was managing to cool the room only to 25c not lower.
- Babic (5/5): Pleasant for a short stay, though some improvements are definitely needed. - The location is excellent – just a short 10-minute walk from the center. Communication with the host was smooth, and the check-in instructions were clear. The key to the building door is quite tricky to use – it often gets stuck, so it takes some time to unlock and enter. The refrigerator is very small, even smaller than a typical minibar. Also, there was a noticeable smell in the room, somewhat like mold.
- Konstantinos (7/5): Good - Location was excellent, room refurnishment was cheap , bathroom was not good at alll.
- Mathilde (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mario (9/5): Superb -
- Ana (3/5): Poor - Close to the city centre and good instructions. Mold, dirty, mosquitoes, keep you awake at night and shower is broken.
- Veronika (7/5): Good - Location, communication, all necesities... Mold in the apartment
- Herraman (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, interesting area. The bathroom needs upgrading as barely functional. No bench for luggage.
- Anna (7/5): Good -
- Syropoulou (9/5): Superb -
- Μαριανθη (5/5): Passable -
- Greg (10/5): A great value right in the heart of the city. - It was in a great location and the perfect size. One or two chairs just as you come inside the door where you can take off your shoes could be good, and there is plenty of space for that, perhaps with a small table there as well. The kitchen amenities like cutlery could be a little more extensive, perhaps some ice trays in the freezer. Also, it’s very bare looking-a little bit of art work on the walls would be nice. But don’t get me wrong, the place is a great deal.
- Evangelia (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, good location, great value for money, comfortable. I would be tiny bit happier if there was some coffee in the apartment
- Kus (8/5): Very good -
- Emilia (10/5): Exceptional - It is nice, clean apartment in the middle of city, where you have almost everything what you need.(not enough cutlery, but you can survive without it).If we will need to stay in Thessaloniki again,we stay here.
Communication before arriving was perfect,we didn't have any problem with self checking.
- Mikheil (9/5): Superb -
- Zhanna (8/5): Very good - The apartment is spacious, everything was clean. The host gave clear instructions on how to find the key box and to use the facilities. One chair was a bit shaky.
- Martin (7/5): Good - There are two streets of the same name in the city and quite remote from each other! It took me some time to find the right one.
- James (6/5): Pleasant - The apartment was near the centre of city activity and had good food outlets close by. It was a good size. The price was attractive for tourists just passing through. The toilet cistern needed repairs, as did the shower.
- David (2/5): Nasty - It could have been a good place to stay. Dirty. They clearly don't try very hard.
When I arrived it stank of body odour and had obviously only been given a very quick clean. It was still dirty.
The bed sheet was cheap, old and incredibly unpleasant.
The toilet stopped flushing after one use.
Terrible
- Mariami (2/5): wouldn't recommend to anyone and defo wouldn't return myself (BEWARE OF INSECTS!!!) - the location was pretty nice - around 12 mins on foot from the central train station. the apartment street is full of cafes and stuff. the instructions from the host were pretty clear, and the apartment was easy to find. the studio itself is pretty spacious (except the bathroom). loved the balcony (but it definitely needed some cleaning). let me start with the scariest thing first - roaches. yes, you heard me right. thank god they were small. the first, the smallest, one I met when I opened the cupboard with plates. the second, a bigger one, was running across the cabinet door. the third was on the bathroom wall (pic attached), but it hasn't moved an inch so I assume it was dead. I had to sleep with the corridor light on cause cockroaches are supposed to be afraid of light.
roaches were not the only insects in the apartment. I also rescued three ants from the shower before I used it.
talking about the shower, it had no door or curtain (as advertised in the pics), but this proved to be very uncomfortable cause a lot of bathwater ended up on the floor outside the shower which I had to wipe. also, I take long showers, and the water got colder and colder by the end.
oh, also, there was no hand soap, so I head to use the shower gel to wash my hands.
and finally, the toilet flush wasn't working properly - after I flushed the first time, I couldn't the next one cause the water didn't re-fill the water container automatically. so, I had to use a teacup to fill the container with water (which took me a minute or two each time) so I could flush XD. not the most pleasant of experiences.
- Joel (7/5): Good -
- Spyridon (1/5): Stay here only if you want an extremely fearfull experience. Welcome to "Fear Factor" - The fact was closed to central town. Toilet flash wasn't working from day one. There was some ants in the apartments. I killed five small cockroaches!!!🪳
The apartment is on the business streets so expect noise from the cost almost all day. 1pm - 4 pm is a bit better.
Blowdrier needs change. That one is for kids to play with.
No iron!
Small fridge.
Small shower. The door never opens completely
Dirty air condition filters!!!
Had to clean them along with some parts of the air conditioning.
- Andreea (4/5): Disappointing -
- Elma (8/5): Very good -
- Iosif (6/5): not bad - location only 1 pillow, no hand shampoo, barely anything
- Iliyana (5/5): Passable - The apartment was good located near train station. I had problems with the comunication since the beginning. I tried to reach the host in booking chat, but he didn't answer. The worst thing when i arrived was i didn't have sheets on the bed. I wrote to the host this time in viber and he didn't even answer. I had to use the towel to cover myself during the night.
- Nikola (8/5): Good value for money if you want to be close to the city centre. - Great location within 10min from Tsimiski street and Aristotel square. Minor issues with key opening the door building, we had to try for couple of times until we figured how to open. Really small refrigerator which is not practic at all.
- Bigfreeze (7/5): Good location, nice room. - Good location (very close to the bus stop) and neat, tidy apartment. Location of the keybox was not explained properly.. The room also had some ants, allthough not a problem for myself but might be a good information to someone who might not appreciate ants.
- Hülya (10/5): Exceptional - It was so clean and close to sea.
- Euan (9/5): Superb -
- Katerina (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, in a good area, and had everything! And it's very cheap!
- Ana (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect. The host didn't answered of any question.
- Emma (4/5): Disappointing - Communication was bad with the host. Apartment wasnt clean.
- Eirini (9/5): Super clean cosy and comfortable place - Very clean room and cosy space The delay of owners message response
- Γεώργιος (6/5): Pleasant -
- D. (4/5): love any minute of my stay in Thessaloniki but not the apartment - no breakfast was included and it's ok.
location, great.
the availability of the owner poor. the room was lack of many thing.
won't give details as it's not going to help anyway the apartment could have been a wonderful place but was minimum and under of what can be expected from Airbnb
- Aleksandar (9/5): We had more than a good time, we would recommend this place. - The location was really good, close to where we wanted to go. The space in the room was more than enough. The bed was kingsized and super comfy. The paint on the walls was a nice color. The shower had no stand to hang it on, so you had to keep it with one of your hands while taking a shower. This wasn't such a problem for me, but was for my wife when she wanted to wash her hair.
The balcony/terrasse could be a bit bigger, but I think the whole building has only such balconies. Having 2 small chairs there would be nicer.
- Gvaladze (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jandreski (10/5): Exceptional -
- Papadima (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kaja (10/5): Exceptional - Close to the center, super clean, well equipped, very good instructions from the host
- Eleni (7/5): Good for a short stay - Great location , very clean apartment Dated bathroom yet very clean , small fridge like mini bar fridge
- Park (5/5): Passable -
- Sabira (9/5): Superb - good place for staying in thessaloniki. close to center, restaurants, Aristotle square and seaside
- Stargr (9/5): Nice little apartment to stay! - The apartment was clean and nicely laid out. At the heart of the city. The host provided all the information for directions, key collection and details on the house amenities. The street in front of the house is busy, thus you can't avoid the noise.
- Kelemouridou (10/5): Everything was more than perfect ! -
- Predrag (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgios (10/5): Exceptional -
