Guest Reviews
- Alexandre (1/5): A nightmarish experience - The view is nice and the design of the « house » is creative was a nightmarish experience.
- First problem, the rooms were still 36 degrees at midnight with absolutely no natural or artificial ventilation so we had to go outside to try to sleep with the mosquitos and the stray cats who kept coming on us. You should know that the house is on the hill where the temperature is two or three degrees higher than on the shore, with no AC and (something I find utterly disrespectful) not even fans.
- At six the sun was burning hot so we tried to go to the rooms again but they were still hot and they are not properly protected from the light and the heat of the sun (no shutters)
- My son was crying we were exhausted and wanted to sleep. We decided to leave and cancel the reservation. Andreas however refused to reimburse any cent because that would be bad for his business. I have called Booking for help on that point (still waiting).
Many other problems suggest an utter disprespect for the guests.
- the guy with the keys, Victor, was 1h30 late
- Andreas and his add give misleading informations.
- For example, the « house » is more a kind of sophisticated campsite than a house. There are rooms for sure but you have to put your shoes and go outside to go the toilets (without flush) to the kitchen and to the living room. The stairs to go to the toilets are dangerous : they have broken rickety steps and my son felled down on his way.
- Likewise, you should be warned that the access to the house is extremely difficult. For one kilometer, you have to take a rocky dirt road that taxis refuse to take and that might well scratch the bodywork of you car.
- Even the price gives a misleading signal. I have been coming in the area for 10 years. For this price you can have a cool and comfortable house just by the sea.
- Another, last point that, for personal reasons, was really important for me. Before o book i asked if the pace was accessible from the sea by bike. Andreas told me that there was no problem accessing the house by bike.
