• Mckirdy (8/5): - I liked the apartment clean and spacious The apartment was on the top floor and building has no lift so walking up a lot of flights of stairs was not enjoyable expecially with bags and going out and about

• Nigel (8/5): Pleasant apartment in centre of Oban - Good location. Clean, warm & tidy. Top of 4 flights of stairs. Confusion over lockbox initially.
• Connie (9/5): Lovely studio - It was clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Very central with a bit of a view of the harbour which was nice.
• Mara (9/5): Excellent facilities and location for a hassle-free short stay in the centre of lovely Oban! : ) - The apartment was ideal for our short stay. Right in the centre of town but off the main street. Very clean. Good amenities. Our apartment even had a nice view of the harbour, which we weren't expecting. The bed was really comfortable.
• Clive (9/5): - Location, Location, Location. Walking distance to most shops in central Oban and of course the railway station and ferry terminal. No lift. Had to walk up 4 flights of stairs.

• Pengbo (10/5): - The flat was very clean and tidy. It got pretty much every facilities you would hope for a comfy stay.

Describe el alojamiento como una casa o chalet, con un dormitorio, sala de estar, baño y cocina, pero es falso. Es un estudio pequeño con cocina office al lado de la cama, no tiene sala de estar, no hay espacio para las maletas y está en un cuarto piso sin ascensor. La descripción de esto está en un subapartado en inglés que no se lee en la ficha principal. Aparcamiento de pago No pudimos subir las maletas aunque tampoco hubiera sabido donde ponerlas. No hay nadie con quien hablar.

• Eve1188 (9/5): Superb - Great location and well appointed apartment. Small but has everything you need and a great view. Located right next to a car park and within easy walking distance of the main street in Oban.
• Rachel (9/5): Superb - The location is excellent, close to all amenities, shops and the harbour I wasn't made aware on booking that the Talisker apartment is on the 4th floor and there is not a lift available. Also the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

• Anna (8/5): Its in a good place and convenient for your needs. - The view from the 4th floor is beautiful, was quiet, and warm, so did not need to put on the heating for 2 days. It was clean, and we had everything we needed there. Even the tv worked too. We could wash our clothes as they left washing machine capsules for us, also they have plates, glasses, forks utensils, pots etc so you can cook. Really good when you spend 4 nights there. You do not have a lift in the building so be prepared for daily stair climbing (they prepare you for this though). At least the stairs are not steep. Also the microwave is too little for the big plates so use the little ones, be creative.

• Judith (9/5): Comfortable apartment in good location - excellent location with easy access to town. The room was comfortable and met our needs with a great shower. Having a lock box to get the key was useful as we didn't what time we would be arriving. The climb up 4 flights of stairs showed I might need to get fitter!!
• Catherine (10/5): Comfortable - Great central location. Everything you could need in the flat. Including a fan for the hot weather we had. Plenty hot water. Quiet neighbours. Comfy clean bed. Shelves above bed were very dusty. But this was a really minor thing.
• Emma (9/5): Highly functional apartment near great attractions - Absolutely loved this apartment. Great location in the heart of Oban attractions, you are minutes from the seafront view and loads of fresh seafood. The room is compact but extremely well equipped, with your own laundry machine, drying rack and ironing board (I believe there is no dryer), your own stove and oven, cooktop, toaster and microwave. Cooking utensils and cookware as well as sponge, rags and dish soap provided. Easy check-in and responsive hosts. Loads of instructions on how to reach via the app. I took off one mark because there is no lift in the building and we had to get our luggage up four floors, but honestly given the location, utilities and price point, I could not ask for more. Not much. The stairs can be a problem for some. The kitchen area, especially the floor, could do with a more thorough cleaning as a small area deemed tacky, but overall cleanliness was not an issue. Bathroom could have more hooks on the door for towels.

• Dawn (10/5): Our stay in the Talisker Apartment was wonderful. It met all our needs. The location is great. - The apartment was extremely clean, comfortable and our view was spectacular! The location was fantastic. It was also greatly beneficial to have a washer to do our laundry.

• Julia (10/5): Exceptional - Loved how close it was to everything and how nice the place was also. Would definitely go back. Water was a little cold in the mornings but u think that is because everyone using at same time.

Number of stairs, probably my fault (I may not have read the description well enough)but didn’t realise it was 4 floors upstairs. We are both healthy but in our 70’s so it was challenging. The bedding was too heavy and hot. The remote for the television was very difficult to work, it may need replacing or a new battery.

• Ruth (9/5): Superb - We had just got off a sailing vessel and so any bed would have been comfortable!! however the location was great for getting off a tall ship and getting onto the train 2 days later. It also meant we were able to self cater. The only down side was dragging our bags up 4 flights but the view made it all worth while

• Smith (8/5): Oban is a great place to visit and the apartment was a very nice size and location to accommodate a longer stay. - Very nice sized apartment in a stellar location. Fabulous views from the top floor. All you could need for a longer stay if you needed to. Bed was comfortable and the shower was a great size with water pressure. Easy to park located very close to appartments. Very accommodating when I messaged to check in an hour earlier. Top floor apartment means lugging up luggage four floors of stairs. Very tough if you are travelling not so light. Luckily the stairs were wide and very safe. At night people were climbing the stairs next to the apartment drunk at all hours and did not consider the people sleeping.

Also just Oban - Clean quite the fist night , great location and cooked dinner one night and and went out other amazing views top floor, good experience walking up stairs, clean room fresh comfy bed

• Adam (9/5): Great! Love Oban, fantastic night life and restaurants . - Couldn’t be more central, right off the Main Street! Parking is next door. All very modern and spacious, could easily spend a week here comfortably. Even had a washing machine. It’s basically a upmarket uni student apartment lol It is up 4 floors …. No lift ! We’re late 20’s and were limiting the trips home because of the stairs haha . We were there while it was very hot (25-30 degrees) so no real fault of the apartment but it was very hot and struggled to cool it. Pillows could be plumper … mattress is great.
• Allan (6/5): We always enjoy our visits to Oban but wouldn't use your facilities again. - The flat was well equipped but was missing a small veg knife. Also it could benefit from a few comfy chairs or small sofa at the bottom of the bed. Very good position but not suitable for an elderly couple like us. Wasn't impressed finding a little present in the toilet and the smell of damp from the toilet was very unpleasant. The stairwell was filthy as was the surrounding area to the flats.
