Guest Reviews

- Musa (8/5): Good. - Ease of access. No feedback/reply on late check-out request.
- charlotte (3/5): Doesn’t look like the photos - We felt it didn’t look like the photos, we got there & our room did not look like the ones we booked. It was up a lot of stairs, the lift was out of order so made this hard when travelling with luggage, we ended up having to pay more for another hotel & checked out the same day.
Location is good & the staff member was nice It didn’t have toilet paper when we checked in, lift is out of order so for two people with leg injuries & carrying luggage that was the nail in the coffin. It did not look like the photos advertised. We felt very disappointed especially when we raised the issue of the stairs we were told that they were fully booked & he couldn’t move us to a lower level HOWEVER when he saw us leaving he then told us he could put us in another room! At this point we had already paid for another hotel as we were told there were no other options.

- Amber (1/5): It was less inviting, to say the least. - It was close to the train station. The place was filthy and smothering hot. We were so uncomfortable but because my wife was ill and it was already paid for, we had no choice but to stay there. The shower leaked daily because the shower doors are not put on currently so they just fall off the track. Don’t even think about turning the hot water up because you will burn your skin and your hand on the hot shower knob. The song was labeled hot on the left and cold on the right, as usual, but it was hooked up backwards so you expect cold water…and then you burn yourself. The refrigerator didn’t work and he swapped it out for another old one, that reeked of dead rat smell, and again didn’t work. The apartment was just overall dirty, and smelt bad. When we first came in, the upstairs hall smelt of cigarette smoke and our apt had burn holes in the mattress and the couch! The couch was a fold down, like a futon, but it was not sleepable! It also smelt. The sheet was like a hospital sheet, and there was no duvet set for the room as pictured. I also asked for a balcony room and did not get that. I found a booger smeared on the side of the nightstand. There was some sort of liquid all in the corner of one of the walls. They only refreshed our towels once. Also, when my sick wife asked for a fan, she was given a desk fan that was barely working. For the price we payed this was all unacceptable! The area also didn’t seem safe.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Rozerin (1/5): Diabolical - Not a single thing that I liked. We left the apartment within 3 hours of check in First of all, when we arrived, the apartment was in diabolical condition. This list is not exhaustive:
- The room had not been cleaned;
- Tables were not wiped;
- There was pubic hair on the bathroom floor;
- The locks for the door were not working;
- The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working (there’s no window);
- There were no bins provided in the room or the bathroom.
The apartment was advertised that it came with an oven, which it did not, and it said it was accessible by lift, however there was not a lift and we had to carry 2 suitcases and bags up 3 flights of stairs, although this is not a big issue in comparison to the rest of the experience. The building also had a light hanging from the ceiling, about to fall off, which is a massive safety issue for anyone.
When I called the property manager, I explained to her my concerns with the apartment and listed the issues we had, however she was extremely defensive, rude and ignorant straight away and said she would not give me a refund and that I could “just leave” if I wanted to. I told her the bathroom was dirty and had pubic hair on the floor, which she said I was lying about. We then found out that the team of “cleaners” she claimed to be sending to the apartment for the past 1 and a half hours was actually the porter, who lived one floor below our apartment. He also turned up with no cleaning equipment (not even a dustpan and brush), so I’m not sure how he was planning to clean the room.
Booking.com customer service wasn’t of any help either.
- Cole (1/5): Bad -
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Melissa (7/5): Good -
- Bogdan (1/5): We just could not enter the building - We were not let inside our apartment . Once we got there everyone at this apartment building stop responding to it. We are trying to get our money back through booking and we hope booking will take action and ban them so other people will not ever have to go through such an experience. We were fortunate enough to have some friends who lived in London, therefore we were not homeless, but if you are not that lucky and do not want to go through this please do not book this place.
- Carolyn (4/5): Good for a bed and that’s it - Decent location. Close to subway good for walking. Easy to get a hold of host Could have been cleaner. No soap in washroom, no extra toilet paper, nothing to clean the dishes you used. And the whole building smells of smoke
- Mawgan (1/5): Bad -
- Conroy (5/5): Passable -
- Shaya (4/5): Disappointing - I was freezing throughout my stay, the heating was not working and I was literally shaking. Also the wifi was terrible I could not watch nothing on the tv as it was not working for us.
- Ringim (6/5): My stay was so bad, worst place I’ve ever stay . - I dislike how dirty the apartment is The smell and entire furniture and no cleanliness
- Sardar (8/5): Very good -
- Nancy (10/5): Perfect Location - Everything. It was hands down an amazing place
- Felix (5/5): Passable -
- Alice (8/5): Great on the whole! - Excellent location Lobby area a little dated
- Hector (3/5): Not worth the money they charge. - Location There was no bin nowhere to throw the trash. There was no toilet paper.
- Victor (7/5): Good - Good location! It's not a modern apartment! But for the price that's OK! They just need to get more utensill to cook and a better over!
- Jane (5/5): owner lovely but fell below expectation - position not as seen on booking.com
- Wimolrat (1/5): My booking room was changed because there was a leaking. The new room I got was dirty, bed smells of cigarette and stain -
- Anna (2/5): Avoid avoid avoid - No towels were provided. The room had no blinds. There was no bin. Arrival was disorganised, no instructions were given for check out. No communication. Room smelt.
- Joy (8/5): Really good, great location, lovely area and people leaving really friendly - felt very safe there - Location was excellent - 3 minutes from Earls court tube station. Jimmy the porter was excellent host - gave me the keys - so helpful and efficient. Told me the nice restaurants to go to etc - will definitely book the apartment again. I will book a ground floor apartment the next time as it’s easier that walking up steps😀
- Ingham (9/5): Lovely flat to stay in, would definately stay again. - We provided our own breakfast as it was self catering, including fridge, cooker, microwave and cooking utensils.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (4/5): I was very disappointed, I have never had issues like this from a hotel booking anywhere in the world. I can’t really co - When I eventually got in it was spacious I had a very bad experience with this hotel. The instructions that I was sent through beforehand were incredibly misleading and complicated. I travelled up for a work convention and arrived later than I was planning, around 10pm. I went to the address that was on the emails, and it was wrong. I dug through the other emails and again followed an address which was not my room. I ended up calling through to the contact number multiple times but never getting an answer and trying various other means of communicating with the same outcome.
I ended up not being able to get in and couldn’t book another hotel so spent the night roaming the streets. It was an awful experience! Luckily a friend let me shower at theirs and I went to the convention and after having the information resent, made it to the room.
The communication was horrendous and I would not consider using this chain of hotels ever again and would like a refund for the first night
