• Isak (8/5): סאמי, זה המקום שלדעתי הכי מומלץ להעביר בו את הנופש באי. מכל הבחינות של טיולים ושהיה. - האויר החפשי, חוף הים הצמוד והעיירה המקסימה סאמי, במרחק כמה דקות הליכה. איכות השרותים והמקלחות. צריך כבר לחדש אותם לרמה טובה.

• Susanne (7/5): Einfacher Campingplatz in fantastischer Lage mit sehr schönem Pool und gutem Restaurant - Der Campingplatz hat eine tolle Lage. Der Pool ist auch sehr schön und die Leute sind alle sehr nett. Das Mobil Home ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen und die Ausstattung der Küche ist minimalistisch. Keine Kaffeemaschine. Schön ist, dass es eine überdachte Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen gibt.

• RadoslawC (9/5): Good campsite! - A simple tent with two camp-beds (ready to be slept in), a lamp, table and two chairs in a green place with lots of shade could sound like a wanderer's dream. It was reality! The camping was quiet (first week of September), had nice facilities, restaurant, and a pool. A quiet beach, with lots of shade from eucalyptus trees, is just 100 meters away (no umbrella necessary!). Everything around (Sami, shops, restaurants, Melissani Cave Lake) is in a walking distance, and you can enjoy walking along a pleasant waterfront to get there! One of the nicest campsites we visited.

The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The food in the onsite taverna was very good. In our unit some of the plumbing was a bit dodgy. It wasn't a major problem, but a bit annoying.

• David (10/5): - Geweldige locatie met groot zwembad en volop groen. Onze bungalow stond aan het strand met een mooi uitzicht. De bungalow is niet groot maar heeft 3 slaapkamers met 6 echte bedden (geen stapelbedden) en een eigen badkamer en een keuken. Ideaal voor wie wel van campings houdt maar niet van kamperen in een tent en met gedeelde voorzieningen. Niks.

• Bountini (10/5): Οι πιο τέλειες χαλαρωτικές διακοπές - Είναι σε τέλεια τοποθεσία τα έχεις όλα εκεί. Θάλασσα πισίνα μπαρ φαγητό ηρεμία, διασκέδαση. Κυριολεκτικά δεν θέλαμε να φεύγουμε από τον χώρο. Όλοι τόσο ευγενικοί. Νοιωθεις σαν μια μικρή κοινότητα. Τέλειο και ασφαλές για παιδιά. Μας αρέσανε όλα είμαστε φουλ ικανοποιημένοι όπως το φανταστήκαμε. Πρωινό ξύπνημα, καφέ και βουτιά στην θάλασσα. Μετά όλοι μέρα ηλιοθεραπεία στην πισίνα
• Lorella (10/5): Ottima location per Cefalonia - La posizione è ottima per spostarsi e visitare l'isola, la veranda fronte mare impagabile, campeggio di ben organizzato abbiamo avuto un disguido con l' acqua calda ma le docce erano in abbondanza nel campeggio e non abbiamo avuto problemi. Direi niente in quanto mi adatto facilmente, se devo dare una mia opinione il bungalow invece di avere 3 camere per ospitare fino a 6 persone, le avrei fatti da 4 per avere spazi meno angusti

• Brett (9/5): Best location in Sami and with great atmosphere. - Second year staying here and would love to go back once again. Perfect location on the beach and the pool, bar and restaurant and perfectly placed. Staff were awesome, friendly and accommodating. Nothing to really complain about. The mobile homes are a little on the small side but certainly adequate. We spent most of our time outdoors anyway, just sleeping inside.

Vue imprenable, accueil très agréable, tout sur place, bord de mer, plus piscine et restauration + bar sur place : top ! Attention, certains bungalow sont sous-traité, et du coup les conditions ne sont pas les mêmes, mais tout est top en direct. (ma belle-soeur à pris le prestataire et elle n'avait pas les linges par exemple).

Le café était très bon et les jeunes du bar très sympa et pro. Je trouve rien. Au pire le chant des coqs un peu trop tôt...

• bexel (8/5): we loved our stay & cant wait to return! - We love the location, beach, pool & bar/restaurant. Staff at bar were lovely! towels and extra bins in tent a great addition! We didn’t like all the cars on the site now often spoiling the view, I kept my car out of the camp as I didn’t was to block my view but the 2 cars parked in front of our tent - which was frustrating. Cleaners seem to spend a lot of time talking and shouting at customers trying to use loo etc. Previously toilets were never closed as cleaners had cleaned before most campers woke up which gave area time to dry etc. Toilets/showers and kitchen always seemed to be dirty with a foul smell of raw sewage. theres also a lack of bins compared with before and aleays overflowing attracting wasps etc. we missed the previous ladies that were in reception as well as night security. As a single parent travelling with children i felt a little unsafe at times eg when one camper was very rude to us and shouted a swear word at us & during a heavy storm. of course we also missed the little shop - especially kids as gave them more independence and useful for items needed instead of walking/driving to town. i also really missed the kettle & coffee machine as none in our tent :( we missed the picnic tables from the kitchen. thanks for a great stay nonetheless - we already wish we were back!

• Toby (9/5): Prima caravan op een mooie locatie - Onze stacaravan had direct zicht op zee. Even het niet drukke weggetje over steken en dan lekker zwemmen. Sami ligt op een strategische plek op het eiland. De caravan was goed schoon gemaakt, maar het bestek, de glazen etc. niet. Verder waren er onvoldoende handdoeken, messen, kommetjes, etc. Dat werd wel opgelost, maar wel met een zucht, niet echt vriendelijk.
• Simone (6/5): Basic stacaravan; druk strand en zwembad - Stacaravan met fijne veranda. Wij stonden op de “second row” met uitzicht op de camping. Achteraf gezien fijn, want de Sea Front stacaravans staan in de volle zon en het publieke strand voor de deur is erg vol en er staan veel auto’s geparkeerd. Op loopafstand van Sami met verschillende restaurantjes. Ook de Melissani cave op loopafstand (20 minuten lopen). Tweepersoonsbed erg smal en hard. Lakens niet breed genoeg om comfortabel met z’n tweeën onder te liggen. Douche in de stacaravan gaf alleen of loeiheet of koud water. Erg druk in het zwembad, vooral in het weekend als ook veel dagjesmensen/lokalen bij het zwembad zijn. Wifi deed het alleen bij de receptie. Receptie is tussen de middag gesloten; medewerker wat nors.

• Daniela (9/5): Grazie ragazzi, è stato fantastico! - Meraviglioso il fronte mare. Il servizio al lido della piscina e del bar/ristorante meraviglioso. I servizi igienici nonostante siano condivisi, erano pulitissimi. Tenda in cui abbiamo soggiornato pulitissima! Scomodo solo il fatto che la tenda non abbia possibilità di chiusura, ma solo tramite zip.

La piscine est très agréable et le village de Sami à 5 minutes à pied. La propreté des wc mais surtout des équipements très vieillissants. Nous avons loué une tente type lodge. Elle était correcte mais le rapport qualité / prix décevant.

• COLIVET-LEMAITTE (8/5): - L emplacement idéal à Sami, la plage, la possibilité de faire ses courses et restaurants très proches, à pied. La végétation. Le côté ombragé. La piscine impeccable. La propreté et la vetusté des sanitaires, l'accueil mitigé et froid. La tente aménagée contient l essentiel, mais manque d un nécessaire de base (produit vaisselle torchon et base d'epicerie de cuisine, briquet pour feux gaz de la cuisine commune ( qui ne fonctionnent pas bien), une cafetière adaptée au nombre de personnes).
• Eva (10/5): Szuper családi nyaralás - A mobilházunk közvetlen a tengerparton volt, pár lépés csak a tenger. Az első garnitúra ágynemű és törölköző benne van az árban, ami nagyon jó, ha repülővel érkezel. A kemping árnyas, nem zsúfolt, a parkoló tágas, fedett. A medence nagyon jól kialakított, mindig volt szabad ernyő és ágyak is. Az étteremben isteni a pizza és kedves a személyzet. A mobilház konyhája lehetett volna kicsit jobban felszerelt, kést és merőkanalat kellett vennünk, hogy főzőcskézni tudjunk. Kár, hogy a kempingben nincs egy kis bolt, vagy pékség, hogy nem kelljen autóba ülni a bevásárláshoz.

• κωνσταντινα (9/5): Υπέροχες διακοπές για οικογένεια με μικρά πιαδιά ! Value for money. - Το προσωπικό ήταν που φιλικό και ανταποκρίθηκε σε ότι χρειαστήκαμε πάρα πολύ γρήγορα. Η πισίνα πολύ καλή και το περιβάλλον πολύ φιλικό και ευχάριστο. Η τροχοβίλα ήταν μπροστά στην θάλασσα με αποτέλεσμα να μην χρειάζεται ούτε κλιματιστικό για να έχουμε δροσιά. Θα μπορούσε να έχει κάποιο μίνι μάρκετ στο χώρο του camping (δεν γνωρίζω αν ανοίγει αργότερα καθώς φαίνεται να υπάρχουν οι υποδομές) για να προμηθευόμαστε κάποια προϊόντα καθημερινής χρήσης.
• Emiliana (5/5): - George e il suo collega gentilissimi. All'arrivo non funzionava il condizionatore ed hanno prontamente chiamato l'elettricista e lavorato fino a tarda notte per sostituirlo. Campeggio molto trascurato, senza una reception ed un controllo efficienti (poteva entrare ed uscire chiunque). Un pò troppo abbandonato. La casa mobile non era pulitissima al nostro arrivo.

Great pool and facilities. Amazing fresh fish at the restaurant. Peaceful and tranquil. Great connections to the port of Sami where we took the ferry to Ithaka, also Lovely Nothing
• Valentina (8/5): - Il campeggio soprattutto nelle parti comuni è molto ben tenuto. Chiaramente non vi aspettate un campeggio all'italiana maniera..sono molto più minimal. Lo staff giovane e gentilissimi tutti dal primo all'ultimo. In caso di problemi o bisogno corrono subito a risolvere. Noi eravamo in uno dei bungalow fronte mare...FANTASTICO. Oltretutto la spiaggia lì davanti (3 passi) è bellissima, acqua cristallina. C'è una bella piscina molto ben tenuta e si mangia anche molto bene a prezzi adeguati al resto dell'isola. A 5 minuti a piedi si arriva a Sami dove si trova tutto, anche se è molto turistico. Da lì partono anche traghetti per Itaca, volendo fare un'escursione anche in giornata (noi siamo andati!). Riassumendo posizione comodissima anche per raggiungere altre spiagge o paesi e solo il bungalow fronte mare vale la vacanza!

• Carla (7/5): Geweldige locatie, verouderd huisje - De locatie: recht tegenover de zee, echt geweldig Het huisje was erg verouderd en niet goed schoongemaakt, vieze roosters, vieze afzuigkap, douche etc was niet schoon en gewoon echt aan vervanging toe. Wij hebben veel buiten geleefd dus dat maakt het goed maar binnen is wel toe aan renovatie en een betere schoonmaak!
• Chiara (7/5): Posizione perfetta ma struttura da migliorare - La posizione direttamente sul mare offre sia comodità a chi vuole passare il tempo in spiaggia sia un quadro mozzafiato a chi decide di passare un happy hour o la serata al bar del campeggio, inoltre è facilmente raggiungibile Sami (a piedi circa 10 minuti). In generale Sami è centrale nell’isola e ci ha permesso di visitare da nord a sud con comodità e completezza. La piscina è un grande plus, grande, pulita e ben tenuta. Ce n’è anche una più piccola per i bimbi. A disposizione ci sono molti lettini e ombrelloni. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono. Visto il prezzo avevamo aspettative basse ma è un campeggio buono nel complesso. Non ho approfittato dell’area ristoro con la cucina ecc ma sicuramente per un campeggiatore straniero deve essere comodo non dover portare anche il fornelletto ecc La pulizia dei bagni è pessima, inoltre necessitano di una ristrutturazione completa, l’unica nota poetica è che nel bagno delle donne c’è un nido di rondini. Quando ti ricapita di lavarti i denti con le rondini che svolazzano? Inoltre c’è un’altra struttura adibita a bagni segnalata come non utilizzabile.

• joanne (9/5): A beachfront chalet with a hot tub. What more do you need? - We stayed in a chalet on the beachfront. The location is amazing - just a few steps and you are on the beach. We liked everything!

• Sonja (7/5): Ist auf Kefalonia leider der einzige Campingplatz->alternativlos. War aber sehr schön. - Das Zelt war sehr schön. Gute Betten und schöne Ausstattung. Schöne Poolanlage. Gute Lage. Sanitäranlagen waren sehr schmutzig. Keine Reinigung. Öffentlicher Kochbereich nicht allzu sauber. Wasser im Pool hat etwas intensiv gerochen.

• Madsen (10/5): Lovely place to stay - We have stayed at Karavomilos camping several times and we love the spot near Sami, the beach and a short trip to Antisamos. The camp sites area with pool and poolbar/restaurant is perfect for us as a family travelling with kids. Dear Karavomilos. You need to up your game regarding cleaness in the shared facility as toilets and the kitchen area. there was cleaning staff everyday, but the job was not done. Only bad thing about out stay.
• Matt (8/5): Perfect location. Proper perfect. - Location - you’re on the beach. It’s perfect. Pool and staff great too. It’s cheap so we knew what to expect. But the beds aren’t too comfy and the air con wasn’t very effective. But it didn’t detract from the holiday. We had a great time.

• Meenakshi (5/5): - It was by the beach and close to the town It was not worth what I paid. It was very basic, and I had to put in all my trash bags myself and make my own bed. For the amount I was paying, I would expect that at least. If you are solo, better to get a hotel in the nearby town. There were 5 beds in the cabin even though I had booked just for myself. I could only use the living area and the room. If I had come for a longer stay I would have been very dissapionted.

• Maria (7/5): Ωραίο σημείο, τέλειο φυσικό περιβάλλον, κρίμα να έχει τέτοια μπάνια και τουαλέτες μέσα στη βρώμα. - Η σκηνή, το φυσικό περιβάλλον, η ησυχία, η πισίνα.. η εξυπηρέτηση από τον κ. Γιώργο στη ρεσεψιόν. Οι τουαλέτες αφημενες, θέλουν επειγόντως ανακαίνιση, οι λεκάνες γεμάτες πουρί, βρωμάνε τα ντουζ. Οι σπασμένες βρύσες..φτωχές επιλογές φαγητού, μέτριας ποιότητας και πανάκριβο.

• Marilena (5/5): Ησυχο μερος , με ωραια πισινα αλλα μεγαλη απογοητευση απο την καθαριοτητα. - Καλη τοποθεσια! ελλειπης καθαριοτητα στις τουαλετες κουζινες. Ειχα κλεισει ψυγειο και στην αφιξη μου δεν μου εδωσαν , μου εδωσαν μετα απο 3 μερες.Οι τουαλετες θα μπορουσαν να ανακαινιστουν .

• Mαριάνθη (10/5): - Τέλεια τοποθεσία της τροχοβιλας, μπροστά στην θάλασσα!! Πρόσφερε πετσέτες,δύο ξαπλώστρες και τέλειο τζακουζι!!! Στην πισίνα ότι φάγαμε ήταν τέλειο και σε τιμές... νησιού!! Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν η τιμή στην εμφιαλωμένη εξάδα νερών που κόστιζε 9€.

• LUISA (8/5): è stato magnifico , casina molto carina,perfetta per famiglie posizione eccellente - la posizione di questi bungalow è superlativa fronte mare non si puo' desiderare di meglio, l'unica pecca la strada è abbastanza trafficata e quindi in certi momenti puo' essere un po rumorosa il fatto che i bunagalow sono posizionati di fronte al mare ma anche all'unica strada di accesso al campeggio e dunque un po rumorosa anche molto presto al mattino o in tarda notte

• Martina (7/5): Good location but not much clean! - Location was great, walking distance from the town and in front a nice beach. The swimming pool was very good for finish the day! The lodge set up was good! The lodge wasn’t clean and didn’t have any fan. So very hot during the day! The share bathrooms and showers they were always dirty.
• Brett (8/5): Incredible location in area that feels traditionally Greek. - We managed to stay in one of the frontline units overlooking the sea. It was incredible to open the doors to the most incredible view. There wasn't too much not to like.
• Richard (9/5): Camping in karavomilos - We stayed in a 2 person tent, the same one as we had stayed in 5 years previously. It was still in good condition, with a comfortable bed and a light. We loved the pool, and our grandchildren (staying in HappyCamp caravans) enjoyed it hugely. The cafe / restaurant is good and the staff are lovely. We celebrated my wife and my granddaughter’s birthday there with a lovely dinner. The location is fantastic, right my the beach and a short walk into town. The showers and toilets are cleaned regularly, but our block looks like nothing has been spent on it since we were last there. The shop has closed, and we missed it. It was a great little shop. The Wi-Fi is poor. But we had a great holiday
• lorenzo (7/5): - La posizione fronte mare. La tenda era molto accogliente, ben ombreggiata e i letti comodi La pulizia dei bagni e delle cucine comuni era inadeguata. Passaggi non frequenti e svolti velocemente senza cura. Inoltre alcune porte non si chiudevano, molti rubinetti sono molto vecchi e perdono acqua contribuendo alla scarsa pulizia
• Nena (6/5): It seemed like it used to be great but now it’s not well maintained and staff are not welcoming. - The location is dreamy and the camping was probably a fancy one some years ago…Food at the restaurant was tasty and the environment around the grass had a calm vibe. The mobile home was filthy. When we checked-in, there were some spider webs outside our main door. The toilet inside looked like it had never been cleaned. I had to purchase toilet cleaning products and after just two days of using them, it seemed much cleaner. Also, the place seemed a bit outdated, not well maintained and the jacuzzi was full of sand and hair (from previous tenants). We paid 175 euros per day and we did not get any services in the price, like breakfast, daily cleaning nor change of towels or bed sheets. Also the receptionist was not very welcoming. On our arrival, he barely talked to us, he said we can find the key at the mobile home and that was it. He did not do the usual small talk, he did not provide any information about the facilities of the camping, he did not make any recommendations about the area, in general he seemed like he wanted to leave the reception and go home. Also, lots of times, there was no one there reception, the door was locked and there was a phone number you had to call for any kind of enquiries. Lastly, the mini market inside the camping was permanently closed, so anything we might have needed, we had to go to the village (which is thankfully is a gorgeous walk).
