• Johannes (10/5): Mountain Bijou - Exceptional Location close to the ruins of Mystras. Several good hikes from the doorstep. Exceptional Service especially the individual breakfast served at your room(s). Good place to enjoy a quality variety of wines. Spectacular views from the rooms. The decorations is a subtle statement from an educated stage designer. Mystras was closed on May 1st, not the fault of the property. However the Google and other web sources were inaccurate. You cannot see everything you have to have a reason to come back. Instead we did a 2hr hike. You may want to be careful with planning and navigation.

I filtered for two bedrooms and the description shows 2 bedrooms. There are not two actual bedrooms. The beds are in the sitting area. This is misleading leading to me making this 9/10. The description in Booking.com should be amended.
• George (9/5): Modern but with an old fashion guest house charm - Mazaraki Guest House is one of those places you don't often find anymore, modern but with an old fashion guest house charm. Our room was beautifully designed, cozy, quirky, and comfortable. And, given the elevation we were at, with a great view. The porch in front of the café is a delightful spot, featuring glass walls that capture the light, a wooden stove creating a cozy ambiance, comfortable seating, a lovely place to sit with a coffee or a glass of wine to take in the view. Definitely have at least one meal in their excellent restaurant. Natasia and Dimitra, made us feel right at home—they are fun, friendly, and wonderfully hospitable. Their local advice was very useful. If you are visiting Mystras, definitely stay here. Sadly, during our stay, the Wi-Fi was quite problematic. The staff believed that the rain and clouds we experienced for a day affected it, but the intermittent breaks in connectivity were frequent throughout our entire stay. A great annoyance to tech-heads like us. Another minor issue was the drainage in the bathroom. Because the shower is not completely enclosed, water collects on the floor in front of the basin and doesn’t seem to drain into the floor waste. After showering, you are effectively standing in a puddle or on a soaked bath mat. It’s a minor issue, but quite annoying. Additionally, the kitchenette setup is rather rudimentary.

Je kunt een zeer eenvoudige maaltijd nuttigen wat ook fijn is op de aankomstdag na een lange autorit. Wij geven de voorkeur aan een licht ontbijt wat goed mogelijk was, omdat je dit op een kaart kunt aangeven. De gastvrouw voorziet je graag van tips over de omgeving. Kortom zeer tevreden. Wij misten een lekkere bank op de kamer.

Les lieux sont justes magiques avec des logements isolés les uns des autres offrant une vue incroyable. Le logement était conforme au photo et propre. Il y a un parking dédié à la guesthouse. L'emplacement est à 5 minutes en voiture du site historique. Le petit déjeuner est sur mesure, servi en chambre et très qualitatif. Le rapport qualité prix est juste excellent, je ne pense pas qu'on puisse faire mieux. Un des meilleurs logements lors de nos vacances en Grèce.

Le petit-déjeuner (excellent et très copieux) sur la terrasse avec vue sur la forteresse, est un vrai moment suspendu dans le temps... Mazaraki Guesthouse est une magnifique étape dans notre road trip en Grèce. Nous y aurions volontiers passé une nuit supplémentaire. Si nous avions pu mettre plus de 10 nous l'aurions fait.

• ΕΥΑΓΓΕΛΙΑ (10/5): Top notch hospitality - This was a great stay! We booked a double and an apartment for our group of 6 and from the first moment we felt at home. The apt comes with 2 BDR/2 Bathrooms kitchen and patio - and even a smaller room that can comfortably host one person . The bathrooms were spacious and well maintained, the beds comfortable, the linens top quality and very clean, the breakfast (included in the price - and served every morning in our rooms) full of choices. The kitchen was equipped with everything one needs if one wants to cook. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, top notch hospitality from booking to check-out! The toilet brushes need to be replaced / upgraded

• Thilagavathy (10/5): Charming guesthouse on hill top - I very rarely give 10 out of 10 rating, but Mazaraki Guesthouse exceeded my expectations Room was fairly large with a balcony that overlooked the valley Furnishings had character; it was charming Comfortable beds, good showers and there was also a "outside" bathtub in the room Kitchenette was small but adequate Breakfast was served in the room at the exact time that you requested for the day before. There were a lot of breakfast options and all good The service and help I received from the staff was great; Natasha & Dimitra were most helpful and even helped arranged local taxi at a reasonable cost Location is walking distance to the archaeological site - -
• Ioana (8/5): - The guesthouse is located in a beautiful area which has terrific views over the valley. The birds are chirping and all times and it’s a delight to wake up with their song every day. We appreciated the warm reception of Natasa and the fact that the room could be cleaned every day. We also appreciated the fact that the room was at all times warm. I would recommend them to change the toilet flusher somehow, I don’t think it’s hygienic to have textile tassel to pull when you have to flush the toilet. It certainly wasn’t changed for us and it certainly could not be sanitised due to its textile nature. Additionally, I would recommend they practice asking for consent when entering the room during people’s stay instead of directly bursting in the room. Dimitra did not do so when she delivered our breakfast and moreover she kinda walked through all the room until she left. The kitchen has everything you need to serve your breakfast, but it lacks things that are actually useful if you would like to cook something yourself. There was only a dirty old pot and a strainer available and this is not enough if we are to compare the kitchenette to other 4stars guesthouses kitchenettes we have used. However this is not a major problem, since the area had some great taverns!

• Gill (10/5): Amazing place to stay - Everything! One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Kind, friendly staff, wonderful breakfasts delivered to your room, and we had a Junior Suite, a really beautiful room, lots of thoughtful and individual furnishings, with a small terrace and an amazing view over the plain and the hills including the Mystras site. We hope we might come back sometime.

• Jean-Remy (10/5): Un endroit paradisiaque au calme - Notre expérience a vraiment été incroyable dans un endroit magnifique très bien aménagé calme et reposant avec un accueil exceptionnel de la part de toute l'équipe qui a été aux petits soins pour nous. C'est de loin le meilleur endroit dans lequel nous avons séjourné lors de nos vacances en Grèce. Il faut souligner la qualité exceptionnelle du petit déjeuner. Il faut également mettre en avant le fait qu'il y a adossé aux chambres d'hôtes un bar à vin pour déguster des vins locaux avec une ambiance très cosy et des vins de qualité. Le tout à une distance très courte du site exceptionnel de Mistra l'endroit parfait pour sejourner avant une journée de visite Rien, tout était parfait
• Michael-Job (9/5): Super liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer mit traumhaften Blick - Wir waren zu viert für eine Nacht dort und hatten zwei Zimmer, Ballon und Fahrrad in einem der Neubauten. Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Das Ballonzimmer oben hat uns wegen der Aussicht und der Helligkeit besser gefallen. Das Frühstück war auszeichnet und wird sogar im Zimmer serviert, wenn man mag. Wir haben es lieber zu viert im Wintergarten genossen. Aber die Möglichkeit im Zimmer ist richtig toll. Man kreuzt abends an, was man morgens gerne essen mag. Die Damen sind alle extrem freundlich und gut gelaunt. Es gibt ganz tolle Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen und natürlich muss man Mystras besichtigen. Einziger kleiner Manko: der Pool ist als beheizt und geöffnet angegeben. Leider wird dieser aber erst ab April geheizt (wir waren im März dort und hatten die Unterkunft extra deswegen ausgesucht). Für eine Nacht aber kein Problem.

• Εράλντ (10/5): - Κυριολεκτικά όλα άριστα . Η εξυπηρέτηση αψεγάδιαστη και κυρίως ανθρώπινη , ο χώρος ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες , το τοπίο μοναδικό και οι παροχές ξεπερνάνε τις προσδοκίες . Η συνολική εμπειρία που προσφέρει το κατάλυμα είναι πολύ πάνω από την τιμή και προσωπικά τη βάζω άνετα στην πρώτη θέση , πάνω από όλες τις υπόλοιπες που έχω συναντήσει . Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα .

Still, the soul of the guest house is Natasa, Dimitra & Maria. Their energy is pure warmth—fun, friendly, and effortlessly hospitable. And their cooking… exceptional. Traditional breakfasts that taste like memory, plus delicious snacks all day long. I’ll be back, no question.

• Rocio (10/5): Reducto de paz, junto a la maravilla bizantina - Nos encantó todo. A las niñas les gustó muchísimo. La casa preciosa en un marco inigualable. El personal amabilísimo, la cocinera excepcional. El desayuno en cestitas es una monería. Todo buenísimo. Las sábanas olían fenomenal.
• Janina (10/5): Highly recommend staying here. - Lovely guest house, friendly staff, attractive and comfortable room equipped with some equipment for cooking and real coffee. We are very well at Skreka a few metres away but there is a choice of restaurants close to the guest house. It was perfect.

Nous avons dîné sur place le 1er soir, la cuisine était délicieuse, je recommande vivement ! Vraiment rien, on se sent immédiatement très bien et l’on voudrait rester plus longtemps
• Justine (10/5): Un endroit exceptionnel hors du temps - Un endroit absolument charmant, complètement en dehors du temps dans un cadre exceptionnel. Les logements sont très bien équipés, tout confort avec une vue imprenable sur Sparte et les montagnes. Le personnel est au petit soin et proposent un délicieux petit déjeuner fait maison. Idéalement situé pour visiter les sites historiques et se balader dans les hauteurs. Merci pour cet accueil incroyable.

• Anny (10/5): Ένας πανέμορφος ξενώνας για να ξεκουραστείς και να απολαύσεις τον Μυστρά. - 2η φορά στον Ξενώνα Μαζαράκη και είναι θαυμάσιο να επιστρέφεις σε ένα μέρος που αγάπησες και να βρίσκεις την ίδια ποιότητα σε όλα. Ένας ξενώνας με προσωπικότητα: άποψη και αισθητική στις σουίτες, το πρωινό με χειροποίητα προιόντας πρώτης ποιότητας, ο Μυστράς μπροστά στα μάτια σου στη θέα με όλη του την ομορφιά, φαγητό σε προσεγμένες ταβέρνες που πας με τα πόδια + φιλοξενία ζεστή από την Δήμητρα και τη Νατάσσα που είναι επίσης χαρά να τις ξαναβρίσκεις. Συνεχίστε έτσι και θα ερχόμαστε ξανά και ξανά. Μερικές φορές το σαλόνι στο τζάκι ,το χειμώνα, όταν μαζεύεται αρκετός κόσμος είναι λίγο στριμωχτά. Το καλοκαίρι φυσικά είναι όλα πιο εύκολα με την πισίνα και τα τραπεζάκι έξω στη θέα. Ίσως, να βοηθούσε να υπάρχει και ένας καναπές στον εσωτερικό χώρο να μπορεί να καθίσει κάποιος και εκεί τα βράδια.

The room was very warm & cozy, bed was comfrotable and the the staff were so welcoming. Defintiely rwecommend to all The shower looked to have some accumulated condensation/start of mould. • FORISSIER (10/5): Magnifique. Et quelle vue !! - Très bel endroit. les hôtesses sont charmantes, le logis l'est tout autant. Beaucoup de gout, très propre, très bien entretenu, très confortable, très calme. Une vue sur la vallée absolument exceptionnelle. Excellent petit déjeuner servi en chambre sur la terrasse, royal. Parking a l'arrière, aucun problème Deux trois restaurants sur la zone dont une taverne grecque populaire très correcte. C'est juste un peu loin de tout, proche des eglises de Mystras mais éloigné de la ville.

Breakfast was served in the room, and we really enjoyed having it while taking in the view. It must be a wonderful place to visit all year round. Everything was lovely!
