Sandra (10/5): A very peaceful, well equipped cottage in the countryside 14 km from Daylesford - The cottage was beautifully set up with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. It's out in the countryside overlooking a paddock where the kangaroos come to feed in the evening with Wombat State Forest on the other side. There are wonderful views. It is a very relaxing place to stay. We particularly enjoyed using the log burner on the cooler nights. Wood was provided. Otherwise the cottage has a reverse cycle air conditioner. The linen was silky and the beds very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful. Nothing except the cottage is up for sale so we may not get another chance to stay again.
