Guest Reviews
- Anisha (7/5): It’s fine for a night but wouldn’t want to stay much longer :) - Property is spacious and accommodates a large party of people.
It is as it looks online. The bed sheets didn’t seem too clean and the oven does not cook food thoroughly.
- Alexandra (10/5): -
- Tracy (10/5): - The house was a lovely size. Everyone had their own space.
Clean and tidy. Beds were comfy. Having en-suite bathrooms really helped. Perfect location as we were only about half hour from Alton Towers.
Fab all round. Will definitely stay here again.
- Sabir (10/5): Clean, Cosy and Convenient, Would Recommend - The property was clean, warm, and beautifully presented, creating a very comfortable stay. Most rooms had their own toilet, and for the one that didn’t, the bathroom was conveniently located just across the hall. Everything was in excellent working order, and the overall space felt welcoming and well-maintained. The only downsides were quite minor. The fridge was set very cold and ended up freezing my sandwiches. Although the property itself was warm, the tiled floors felt quite cold — underfloor heating would have made it even more comfortable. Also, the lock on the toilet door wasn’t working. That said, these were small issues and didn’t take away from the overall great experience the property offered.
- Joe (4/5): Decent place with disappointing cleanliness - Good location for Hanley town centre (~10min walk). We appreciated the host's apologetic chocolate box and bringing supplies that we needed after we complained about the state of the place when we arrived. 'New' cleaner(s) had done next to nothing before our arrival, none of the bins had been taken out, off food left in the cupboard, beer cans in the freezer, unclean towels and toilets (my partner had to clean 4 toilets on our first night there)

- Parth (10/5): Lovely - Cleaning, location, and maintenance vary excellent. Every thing like this property not a single mistake.
- Oz (9/5): Accommodation - Location and the facilities were amazing. Easy access to all amenities. Sadly, the house still had a very strong smell of cigarettes from the previous occupant. I informed the host, and he was honest explained that a party had been held there the night before our stay, which unfortunately caused the smell. It was quiet unpleasant!
Apart from this issue, the accommodation itself was amazing. Hopefully this can be avoided for future guests.
- Jonathan (9/5): Perfect for our needs - work colleagues staying in Stoke after Christmas party - The bedrooms were clean, cosy and modern 4 with en-suite bathrooms. Ground floor bedroom was great for one of our party. Kitchen/diner comfortable space to have a drink and chat. Back garden could do with a tidy up
- Emily (7/5): The property was easy to locate, park and clean. Some tweaks based on comments may make us revisit. - We liked that all the rooms had their own ensuite and that it was clean with easy on street parking. The kitchen/lounge area really smelt of cigarette smoke which lingered for the whole of our stay which wasn’t nice.
The doors to some of the rooms were very loud when opening and closing - not fitted well fire doors.
There wasn’t anywhere that we could eat as a group of 11 so ate out and had breakfast in sittings.
The bedding could do with a refresh, although clean was very tired. We also didn’t have sheets for the two sofa beds upstairs in the loft room so had to make do.
- Kamila (10/5): Ridiculously fantastic - Lovely and specious property, clean on arrival, great host !!!
Overall excellent experience! Will definitely return if needed this area in the future N/A
- Craig (9/5): - Liked everything about it, especially the back yard none
- Victoria (10/5): - Very clean and inviting.
- chloe (10/5): Very good weekend - Lots of space Everything was fine
- Tyra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vikas (8/5): Very good -
- Arshia (1/5): Bad - Nothing House was revolting. Wasn't livable at all.
- Annette (4/5): disappointing. unsuitable for the number of guests allowed.Needs a deep clean - location this is a HMO /student let property by the look of the 5 key safes outside. Not enough equipment for the 6 of us -4 forks ,no wine glasses , no tea towel. nowhere to sit to eat apart from 2 bar stools so 4 people ended up eating meals off their laps. ( no idea how the allowed 12 people would manage ) poor cleanliness -streaky , smeary mirrors and shower screens ,dirty fingerprints on kitchen cupboards ,bedside lamp covered in dust.. plus an opened half used carton of milk in the fridge ,a half eaten open packet of biscuits in the cupboard, dirty mug left in the sink ,crumbs in another kitchen cupboard. It all needs a good deep clean.
