• Gjorgji (10/5): Best accomodation of our life. 10/10 would recommend!!!! - Where do I even start? All four of us who stayed here completely agreed - this was the best accommodation we’ve ever experienced in our lifes, and we all travel a LOT. It’s a warm, cozy, and exceptionally clean house, located in the middle of nowhere. The house offers an extraordinary 360° panoramic view of the surroundings, warm showers, and a comfortable, inviting common area. The owners have truly thought of everything a guest might need. The kitchen is better equipped than you could ever expect, with free coffee, tea, spices, oats, and more. On top of that, the entire house is filled with interesting and fun facts about Iceland, which really shows how much the owners enjoy hosting guests. It’s also an amazing spot if you’re chasing the Aurora Borealis, as there are no nearby lights to interfere with the view. 100/10 — I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area! That we didn't stayed longer.
• Wolf1994 (7/5): Un soggiorno economico (secondo standard prezzi islandesi) ma soddisfacente - Piccola camera doppia mansardata situato in un prefabbricato in mezzo alla natura. Una casa abbastanza grande su due piani, ben arredata e fornita con camere private ma bagno, cucina e sala da pranzo in comune. Camera non adatta a chi soffre di caustrofobia (il tetto scende sino a non permetterti di stare seduto in cima al letto). E' stato difficile raggiungere il casolare in quanto dopo una certa ora la strada che vi porta chiude e abbiamo proseguito solo dopo aver atteso una risposta dell'"host", nonostante di fatto non fosse permesso.

In de keuken is alles wat je nodig hebt om je eigen maaltijd of ontbijt te maken.Koffie en thee waren gratis voor de gasten. Het ligt een stuk buiten de stad. Dus zorg dat je eten bij je hebt. Heerlijke bedden en schone douches. Wasbak op de kamer wat fijn is voor je tanden te poetsen en op te maken. Geen min punten.

• Erick (10/5): Welcoming space with continual efforts being made to make the space even better. - I don't know why this place surprised me, but it was just such a nice place to stop for our night. The view was gorgeous and the entire house was SO welcoming. I think that was the best part - I felt so welcome even without ever seeing the hosts in person. The rooms weren't huge, but they weren't the smallest ones we stayed in either. We had room for our 2 suitcases to be open on the floor. The deck was nice to get some fresh air. Breakfast was not included, but there was still coffee and muesli for us to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/utensils for making our own meals (though we only did breakfast). I would highly recommend this stop. I love it all.

• Jude (3/5): Extremely disappointing for the price. - The kitchen and location were good :) The shower situation is horrendous! There’s mildew all over the ceiling, and zero ventilation other than trying to open a window that lets in cold air and bugs. The room was incredibly small too, with insufficient places to hang stuff, although they provide many hangars - perhaps to hang your clothes outside so that they get wet!? There were only two showers, and two toilets for a total of 14 possible people (7 rooms in total).

• Agathe (7/5): - La maison, en pleine nature, est très mignonne. La chambre avec balcon est agréable, et permet l'observation d'aurores boréales si le temps s'y prête. Les propriétaires sont réactifs en cas de questions. La maison perd beaucoup de son confort en cas d'occupation complète : Les chambres sont peu isolées du bruit, pouvant rendre la nuit agitée en cas de diverses occupations des voisins. Les sanitaires/douches/cuisine sont vite tous occupés. De plus, et c'est là notre principale déception, personne ne viendra vous accueillir ! Il est toujours un peu dommage d'opter pour une maison d'hôtes et ne pas rencontrer les hôtes en question, au moins brièvement. Un petit déjeuner serait apprécié pour plus de convivialité ainsi qu'un meilleur rapport qualité/prix.

No aparecíamos en el check in que figura en una pizarra al entrar, pero por telefono lo solucionaron. La ubicación cerca de hofn y vestrahorn muy buenas Los baños parecían individuales peros e separaban por una mampara, siendo mixtos, 0 intimidad, pudiendo alongarse y mirar. No me gusto esto. Había pocos wc para todas las habitaciones que habían y en la entrada dejan unos tapones para los oídos, cosa que luego entendí porque se oye absolutamente todo de una habitación a otra.

• June (9/5): Very cozy and cute sheeps! - The property Saudanes was cozy and had a well equipped kitchen. The common shower room had mold on the ceiling.
• Ruhina (7/5): overall a nice and fun stay. - This was strange looking (old school building) in the middle of a field! But our room (family room) was great, fit all four of us! We originally were booked for tents but then it was so cold that eve and we were jetlagged that they gave us the family room (I called ahead to make change and they gracefully accommodated, it was very much appreciated)! Also place close to all the attractions. Shared bathroom was a bit crazy (it was like living in a dorm) but for the price, it was a minor inconvenience and we were very close to it so not such a big deal. Getting there we took the road up north from Reykjavik and were driving close to evening (dusk time in mid Aug) and it was like driving on Mars, the topography was crazy cool to see!! We never got to see the town though, no time, but did drive to see the attractions (geyser)

Et c'est toujours dommage de fréquenter un endroit sans y rencontrer âme qui vive...aussi, le fait qu'il n'y a pas de déjeuner possible n'est pas un avantage. Et puis, le tarif est un peu exagérer aussi pour une nuit sans aucun extra.

• Lindsey (8/5): Nice and comfy farmhouse stay without supervising attendant, well organized and nice property. - Bed here was soooo comfortable and well appointed with more than one pillow and nice linens/blankets. Small sink in the room with mirror, hooks, etc. Farmhouse (slightly rustic) kitchen with nice signage everywhere to help to find/explain things no one is actually present at this property - guests self check-in and leave, so communication was a bit sparse and while I encountered no issues during the stay, if they occurred, I'm not certain how long it would be until response or resolution would be available. Showers do in fact have mild moldy ceilings, better ventilation here and some mitigation effort for existing issue would fix this problem - I did not find it off-putting to use the showers.

• Michelle (8/5): The guesthouse had a very homely and comfortable feel to it. Though our room was a bit on the small side, beds were comf - Guesthouse was lovely and had a nice homely feel to it. Great location just outside of town with beautiful views all around. The kitchen was great with everything you would need. We had a twin room and it was a bit small for the two of us and our luggage. It was still a nice room otherwise.
• Adrian (7/5): - Sehr bequeme Betten, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Aufenthaltsraum eher beengt, nicht so gemütlich wie andere Unterkünfte (nur Tische und Stühle, keine Sofas), Zimmer relativ klein. Sauberkeit okay, aber bitte mal die Taschen in der Dusche prüfen. Es ist eklig dort Müll an beiden Reisetagen von anderen Reisenden finden zu müssen. Die Seife in der Dusche ist ebenfalls kaputt und sollte ausgetauscht werden. Preis/Leistung passt einfach nicht und war bei vorherigen Unterkünften deutlich besser.

• Ali (6/5): Felt like a hostel - Very lovely staff, and I liked the heated floor in the hall. Great intention for guests to have a good stay, just is more of a hostel than a guesthouse and should be priced accordingly. Black mould in the shower ceilings. Room had such a low roof that we hit our arms while sleeping and it got SO stuffy and hot - far too small for 2 people to breath in there. No breakfast or coffee (there was tea). Had to take your shoes off and that wasn't nice in the kitchen especially. Earlier check out that any other guesthouse (10am vs 11am elsewhere). I've stayed in other places for a similar price in iceland and they all had more room, were more comfortable.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating. the sink in the room was also useful Ceiling in the shower, but this may be a problem due to poor air circulation, I think the rooms on the lower floor are better
