• Silvia (7/5): Nice apartment, nice host, but no possibility to lock the bedroom - Peter was really friendly, welcoming and available. The room, toilet and bathroom were rather clean. Very nice looking apartment The door of the bedroom has no lock, that is not specified and made me feel a bit uncomfortable. There is the possibility of more guests being in the house, so trustworthiness of the host aside, it feels unsafe.

• Heli (9/5): Mainio majapaikka Amsterdamissa - Peter on hyvin avulias ja huomaavainen isäntä. Huone oli tilava ja sänky mukava. Parveke sisäpihalle varmasti kiva kesällä, nyt huhtikuussa ei käyttänyt sitä. Yhteiset tilat olivat joustavasti käytettävissä. Wc oli ahdas, mutta isompi pesuhuone, jossa suihku sijaitsi, oli tilava. Omia eväitä sai säilyttää jääkaapissa ja käyttää keittiötä. Rauhallinen alue, josta on hyvät yhteydet keskustaan. Siistiäkin oli. Voisin tulla uudestaan! Sisällä oli hieman viileää. Nukkumista se ei haitannut.
• Gabriele (7/5): Gut und für Amsterdam günstig, mit toller Lage und super freundlichem Vermieter . - Verkehrstechnisch super Lage. Bus 21 vor der Türe 👌 Habe bei den tollen Bildern übersehen, dass es ein gemeinsames Bad und WC gibt 🙈 War aber kein Problem - alles super sauber und immer frei. Im Zimmer gab es kein Fenster zum öffnen, nur einen Dyssen Lüfter.
• Ivonne (9/5): - Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und achtet die Privatsphäre trotz der geteilten Räumlichkeiten (Bad und Küche). Das eigene Zimmer ist bequem und sauber.
• Giuliano (7/5): Camera, cucina e soggiorno - Peter è estremamente gentile e risponde in modo fattivo ai quesiti e alle esigenze. Viene affittata la camera ma si ha a disposizione tutta la casa, cucina compresa. All’interno della casa i rumori esterni non si sentono. La stanza un po’ piccola e senza finestra verso l’esterno dà la sensazione di essere chiusi dentro. Si trova a circa mezz’ora di autobus dalla stazione centrale, da valutare in relazione ai costi da sostenere.

• Isabelle (10/5): - L’hôte de est super sympathique. Présent si on a des questions, mais se fait subtile sinon. Il répond super rapidement s’il y a quoi que ce soit. Il n’y a que 3 chambres en tout, donc pas de file pour les toilettes ni pour utiliser les autres choses partagées (en fait je n’ai jamais croisé la personne de l’autre chambre en 3 jours). Tout prêt d’une épicerie, et d’une station de bus On se sent comme chez soit, donc la propreté est telle que si votre mari fait constamment le ménage (pas niveau hotel 5 étoiles, mais très convenable)

• S. O (1/5): VERY TERRIBLE AND IRRITATING PLACE TO STAY THE OWNER IS SO ANNOYING….I NEED MY REFUND - Outrightly,the apartment was nothing to write home about. The entire kitchen was nothing to write home about.We went to a party and on getting back to rest,a friend came around to pick up something from our car and the owner started shouting unreasonably.He started taking pictures and didn’t let us rest.We had to leave the apartment in the midnight to get another hotel to sleep.Our food was in the fridge,he didn’t allow us eat and feel relaxed.The fan in the room was a very bad.The bed spread was very dirty and smelly.He was talking and raising his voice and we couldn’t even stay there anymore.Without any form of argument,ℹ need my refund.The guy’s attitude is so poor that it is not welcoming to be amongst human.This business is not done by force.The guy’s attitude needs to get out of that business with his terrible manner and attitude….I NEED MY REFUND PLEASE.I would have been able to take pictures to garnish this report but the place is very dark and all the light switches are bad.We can’t switch on lights to see things.He should be evicted from the business if he is not competent…..He has a BAD ATTITUDE.

• Chan (9/5): 很舒適 - Peter is an incredibly warm and thoughtful host. He didn’t mind waiting for us to arrive late — even close to midnight — and still welcomed us with a big smile and a kind, polite attitude as he showed us around the place. His hospitality really made us feel at home. Although he was clearly busy with work, he genuinely took the time to chat with me. He shared a lot about Dutch culture, local places to visit, beautiful scenery, and traditional foods. I learned so much from him — his suggestions were even more helpful than YouTube because they came from real, local experience. You can feel his pride in his country, and his passion for sharing it with guests. The location is very convenient for daily needs — just a one-minute walk to a Lidl supermarket. There’s also a space to park bicycles, which is great if you’re cycling. Overall, Peter made our stay truly memorable. His kindness, knowledge, and generous spirit left a great impression on us. Highly recommended! The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s a bit far from central Amsterdam. You’ll need to take bus 61, which costs around €3 and takes about 30 minutes with 20 stops. Also, the bedroom doesn’t have a lock — this wasn’t a problem for me, but good to note for those who prefer more privacy.

• Kmellor90 (10/5): You're booking a room in someone's house, BUT - Well, I booked this thinking it was the whole apartment for rent. It wasn't. Regardless, my stay here was like staying with a friend. I've been amsterdam over 30 times and just wanted a place to chill for five days as I'm a bit antisocial, and I've seen dam many times 😂 The host is on site, but he is an easy-going, relaxed fella who pretty much just stays out of sight. If you need something, just ask - heating switched on, directions, help in general, just ask. Treat the place like home, just be respectful of course. The small toilet room, taking a dump in another man's house 💀... haven't done that in years. Wasn't that bad lol.

• Kelsy (10/5): Everything was great! - Peter was an excellent host! He was always in communication with us. Everything was very clean and organized. We could walk around the house without any problem, and use the kitchen or any area we needed. The location was excellent for what we needed. It is very close to a bus stop and a supermarket. And it is in a residential area so it was very quiet. I would definitely stay there again!

• Fabio (10/5): Exceptional! - Bed was comfortable and very chill area nearby. There is a supermarket 50 mt from the house. The bus stop is just 2 mins walking. With bus 21 you can reach it in 20/30 min. Not so far from central station. Modern common spaces with a nice terrace and clean house. Nothing to say.
• Rita (9/5): Great place to stay for a couple of nights or longer. - Great location in a green residential area outside the centrum of Amsterdam, good public transport connections (bus, tram). Clean quiet room, access to the kitchen and sitting room, I also had the use of the terrace. Nice friendly host, unobtrusive but ready to help if you have questions. The mobile network coverage in the whole area is rather weak (but you get free wifi access).

• Atanasie (10/5): I would recommend reading this - I have spent 3 nights at this property and i felt i should write a review about what it was like. The property is about 30 minutes away from city center by bus, the bus station is 3 minutes away. There is a local Lidl in the same building just arround the corner. And a pizza place accross the street( which i did not use). The room is Airbnb style. A room in a 3 bed apartment. I stayed in the double bed without a terrace. The hosts David and Peter are quite friendly, (also 420 friendly) as long as i did not go agains the rules of no smoking in the house. I behaved as a quest in their house, and they treated me like one. I have been given freedom of the appartment and was encouraged to use the toiletries available. There is a bean to cup coffee machine to enjoy the complimentary morning cofee cups Peter answered my questions about the city and best ways to go about visiting and enjoying the city. The property is maintained quite clean, the rule is no shoes in the house. I wish I would have brought slippers. There is no smoking in the house l, so just went outside to smoke. That worked out quite well, because the property smells really nice and clean. The living room, kitchen, toilet & shower are shared, as in any home, but that did not bother me in the least. Despite all this the property is quite roomy and i did not feel, in the least,crowded by anyone else. The place is in a quiet neighbourhood, a quiet building and the fact that there were roomates did not affect the quiet environment. I really enjoyed my stay. For someone with my background a lock on the bedroom door implies Privacy, i came to learn that locks on bedroom doors are not a common sight in the Netherlands. At first this was a bit uncomfortable, because i did not know what type of people the hosts were. I came to find out that there was No reason for concern with them as they implicitly respected my privacy.
