- Margaret (8/5): A pleasant visit to Aviemore - It was local. It was warm and peaceful. It suited us for visiting family. Shower was hot.Good facilities nearby. Clean and cosy. Good walks nearby. Greeting basket was a nice touch.

- Jade (10/5): Excellent short stay :) - Fab little cabin in a perfect quiet location
Extra touches like the goodies basket, robes slippers and face cloths really made it feel more homely.
Hosts were so warming, welcoming and polite and nothing was a bother for them.
Looking forward to returning in the near future

- Nathan (9/5): Thanks Alan - good to meet you and hopefully be back there soon! - I liked the size of the cabin. It was a comfy double bed. The snacks on offer were amazing! It was a good shower too.
- Rania (10/5): Lovely cabin stay with such welcoming hosts! - I love that I had the cabin all to myself. Even though it was in the host’s backyard, you get complete privacy. It felt like a home and made my stay a lot more enjoyable.
The bed is sooo comfy!!! Absolutely perfect way to end a day of hiking. And the shower is very spacious!!
The cabin is equipped with all the snacks and amenities that you could possibly need.
Bonus point: I love that they provided robes and slippers — it made my stay feel very homely.
Overall, it was such a pleasant stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here the next time I come back to Aviemore.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptionally comfortable bed.
Huge range of snacks, drinks, toiletries, towels and even gown&slippers spa-style! Fantastic location and great value for money. I did not stay for long enough!
- Anne (9/5): Good idea for a neat place to stay - Easy to access ,parki.g just outside the gate
Comfy bed, white bed linen, high quality duvet.
Spotlessly clean
Great shower
Good size modern TV & DVD player
Washing machine &drying rail
Full size fridge No windows so difficult to get fresh air in at night, had to open the door
Not enough pillows, no spares
Too much left over items, shower gels, shampoo bottles, teas & cofees. I'd like to throw a lot of it away!!
- Mark (10/5): Great experience.would definitely goback - Clean, tidy! Everything you needed. Made to feel very welcome. Nothing disliked about the place
- Jessica (5/5): I can see the cabin would work for some visitors, but it is over priced for what it is. - I did not stay in the cabin overnight as planned, unfortunately. There are no windows in the cabin, only a door which as a lone traveller I would not wish to leave open. It was too warm and as a result not comfortable for myself and my dog. The cabin itself was compact and ok.
- Putri (9/5): Superb -
- Milly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tae (10/5): Top place to stay - Honestly the best place I have ever stayed. Bed was so comfortable, warm, and welcoming
- Mclean (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cabin for a night away. The host was very welcoming, the cabin had everything needed plus lots of lovely touches I.e snack basket, toiletries, wine, dressing gown and slippers. The host left the heating on prior to arrival.
Comfy bed, dog friendly and central location.
- Heather (10/5): Exceptional - Fab little find in Aviemore! Great location,.. yes it's in owners back garden but own entrance and secure garden area for the dog was perfect. Cabin lovely clean and cosy. Well equipped for short stay and welcome basket of snacks, breakfast cereals, tea, coffee and bottle of wine was amazing! Short 5min walk to pubs, restaurants and shops.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely spot. Was met by the hosts who like to see you first to explain the set-up of the place at the back of their home. Welcome pack was a surprising delight! A little tight to set up for breakfast, getting out the folding chairs. Everything had its spot though. :)
- Corinne (7/5): Great location. - Friendly and helpful. Surfaces to place your suitcases for easy access.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, warm, and comfortable with a brilliant little kitchen area
- Sacres (9/5): Superb - Place, hosts, location, scenery
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -

- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (9/5): Great break lovely accommodation apart from a couple of things mentioned. - Central location friendly owners great welcome basket Toilet door wouldn’t close fully and no comfortable chairs to sit on
- Dt1304 (8/5): Perfect stop over, wish we had longer - Great little place , loved the extra little touches like the goody basket and the wine, just a shame we got stuck on the A9 and couldn't get there until late. I have to say we raided the snacks as we missed dinner reservations. Nothing to dislike , it served us well for an overnight stay ,, we will book again
- Ashley (8/5): Very good -
- Laplace (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bonnie (6/5): Pleasant - The hosts were very welcoming and the location was perfect! There was a good list of places to eat. The kitchenette was well equipped (just missing a sharp knife). The bed was super comfy!! Whilst very clean, the unit was very cluttered and had an excessive amount of air fresheners.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grant (9/5): Excellent cabin, great location and helpful hosts - The cabin was ready for my arrival, and the hosts had provided some food items (which I enjoyed after a long cycle) Everything was great
- Joyce (10/5): Great place to stay with everything you need. - Stayed here for one night with my dog after a day of hiking, but would happily have stayed longer. It’s a clean, cozy place to stay with everything you need, very comfy bed and only a 5 minute walk into town. The welcome basket full of treats was also very thoughtful. Would highly recommend staying here, it’s an excellent dog friendly base for exploring the cairngorms.
- Brian (9/5): self catering unit that exceeded all expectations - n/a n/a
- Jake (10/5): everything I needed for a lovely stay in the highlands. - Amazing Shower. Thoughtful welcome gift basket. Had a air-fryer and washing machine - both were a bonus. n/a
- Ciarin (8/5): Great for my one night stay! - Clean, comfy bed, nice selection of goodies on offer and a well stocked kitchen. Was nice not having to buy essentials for my short trip.
Shower was nice & hot too!

- Ross (7/5): Good -
- Stuart (8/5): Very good -
- Philip (7/5): Comfortable and good value for money - Good location
Quiet and comfortable Too many toiletries in the bathroom so no room for our own.

- Gintautas (10/5): Thank you for a peaceful, comfortable stay. I will recommend to my friends - Friendly hosts. Private and cozy environment Not a big problem, but it would be easier to find the address if there was a house number
- Johnson (10/5): Peaceful lovely accommodation - Lovely, well equipped, quiet - only had one night but recommend for linger stay
- Christine (9/5): Superb - Compact and cosy. Thoughtful inclusion of furniture and appliances. Lovely treats basket.

- Martin (7/5): One night stop over in Aviemore - the privacy of it all lack of windows, cold on arrival but did soon warm up
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Aleisha (10/5): Well located cabin with everything you need - Cosy cabin that has everything you need for a short stay. I really appreciated the little extra touches like a box of goodies, lots of tourist info and a kitchen that stocked all the basics. The washing machine and drying rack were really handy. It's not far from town but it's in a residential area so it's nice and quiet. As other reviews have said, the sofa has been replaced by a very comfy bed!
- Moira (8/5): comfortable and good location for my Cairngorm adventure - very comfy bed… thankfully not a sofa bed as pictured. no windows other than the French doors.
- David (9/5): Superb - Cabin is lovely, easy 5 minute walk to the town centre. We received a lovely welcome basket and a birthday gift was left for my wife. There is a table and chairs so we were able to have a take away on the first night.
- Euan (10/5): Amazing little cabin, i couldn't have had a nicer stay. bed super comfy & hosts were so friendly -
- Emilija (10/5): Exceptional -
- Travtas (7/5): Quiet location little out of town - Comfortable soft bed, basket of snack items, varied condiments in cupboard, handy little fridge. No windows so had to sleep with door open. Plastic backed underlay on bed. Smelly hairy floor rug.
- Anonymous (10/5): Recommend - Everything was clean organised, it had everything including cleaning supplies.
The hosts were also respectful of the privacy, the location is close to the centre and still peaceful and quiet. Previous reviews are mainly about the sofa, can confirm that’s not an issue anymore and the sofa has been replaced with very comfortable bed
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the whole place, there's a new double bed instead of the sofa which is so comfortable. The place was immaculate. Such a peaceful location only a 5 minute walk into town. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone. We'll definitely be back.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (9/5): A really nice stay, would reccomend and visit again! - Great location, lovely hosts, and a clean and tidy great place to stay for a few days! Maybe could have had a cooker, but it's not a big deal at all.
- Terissa (8/5): Very good -
- Maureen (8/5): Very good - Great base very welcoming
- David (9/5): Perfect - Super hosts and very approachable. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness. My dog and I just done 4 days wild camping so this accommodation was a God send for 3 nights to recuperate and relax. The bathroom facilities are amazing and one of the best showers I’ve ever had. Washing machine and microwave provided. I’m not sure what the last reviewer was talking about noisy neighbours! I didn’t hear a peep and had a very relaxing time so much so that I extended my stay by a further 2 days.
The hosts even hooked me up with alternative accommodation for the weekend as the cabin was already let. Thank you for your hospitality guys 👍🏻 Leaving.
- James (10/5): Wedding stay - The host was very friendly and helpful It had everything we needed and it had a very lovely welcome pack Nothing, it was exactly what we needed for a 2 night stay.
- Cadence (5/5): It was OK for a night, very affordable. - Good location for our needs, clean and stocked with toiletries, etc
Good shower
The host was friendly and had made an effort to make the place nice. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable .
There are no windows, so when the door is locked at night, it feels very claustrophobic, didn't help that our stay was during a heatwave, though! 🥵
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Ideal location from Aviemore centre and very relaxed. spotless clean and made to feel very comfortable. 10 out of 10 as above 10/10
- Pamela (4/5): very disappointing because of the awful sofa bed - it was very clean and had a nice enclosed nice garden with a view of the owners house…not the mountains as indicated.
ideal if u just want somewhere to rest your head but not if you have back problems!! there were things about the location that were not made clear. namely it was a cabin at the bottom of a garden on a housing estate backing into a derelict building site and a field full of weeds 3 ft high. it had noisy neighbours and the cabin doesn’t have any windows or vents or fans, it’s like a sauna on a hot day. not an ideal place for a vacation. I had to end my trip early because of the uncomfortable lumpy bed irritated my back. I ended up sleeping on the floor. I contacted the owner but they ignored my complaint about the bed… well I guess they’ve got my money now!! will not be returning.
- Sally (8/5): Great for our short stay for our charity walk. - spotlessly clean. lovely welcome basket, quality fixtures and fittings. slightly cramped with two people and two dogs and the bed was a bit narrow.
- James (9/5): definately go back great hosts - very nice all good
- Carol (9/5): Superb - It was handy to have everything in one place, sofa bed, washing machine, microwave, heater, fridge, tv, and ensuite bathroom. -
- Mc (10/5): Exceptional -
- Farin (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Great place to stay in Aviemore - Great place to stay in Aviemore. Easy self check in, so no need to worry about arrival times. Cozy wee cabin with all mod cons. Very handy to have a kitchenette to prepare food and drink. And the welcome pack including breakfast items, snacks and chocolate, as well as a bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch. I would definitely stay again. Nothing to dislike really.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable Could do with a hanger or 2 for jackets.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Great hosts…… will definitely see uz again ✊🏻
