- Suarez (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful cottage in the most unique location. The rooms are large and bright, the beds are comfortable and you can waltz in the kitchen if you wish to. The highlight of the property is the garden! There is literally a steam train going through the dreamy woods at the foot of the hill. And at dusk there is an orchestra of wildlife sounds. There is so much to see. Ashdown Forest is endless, the nearby farm is superb source of food supplies and the local pubs are fab. Emma is a brilliant host and a great communicator.

Would definitely stay here again. - The hosts were amazing and great at communicating, Emma even gave us tips about the area and travelling around. The cottage is beautiful and was perfect for our weekend stay. The bedrooms were big and clean and we really enjoyed having breakfast out on the terrace in the sunshine. The location is quite hard to find by taxi, and when we came home on the evening they got a bit confused about the lanes.

It’s in such a remote area and we would’ve loved to stay here longer. Emma, the host was fantastic and so friendly. She really made it feel like a home away from home stay. Brilliant! 10/10 would recommend staying here if you’re in the area or would like some time to unwind.
