- Lee (10/5): Great self catering holiday location. - Nicholaston Cottage is situated in a great setting over looking Oxwich Bay and Three Cliffs Bay. Short walk to the beach through a gate in near by Camp site across the road and down through some woodland. Cafe at the far end of Oxwich Bay where there is a car park if you struggle to walk any distance can be reached by car in less than 10 minutes. £6 to park for the day and great food from Chip Butties to cakes and hot drinks, cafe also has a small shop of beach goodies and hats, scarfs and socks. Back at the Cottage there is plenty of room, we went as a group of x4 adults, enjoyed a game or two of Pool in the evening, WiFi is available and log burning fire for a cosy winter feel. Utility room was a welcome bonus to get the wetsuits and any other kit cleaned off, rinsed out and dry again. Each room has its own on-suite and all clean and well presented through out the house. Only a small niggle but the house heating is set on a timer which didn’t seem to keep the house that warm and we felt quite cold in the evenings, you can override the pre set system apparently but we struggled to work it out.
