• Val (10/5): Excellent central location and a very well appointed apartment for 3 people. - Everything. Well fitted kitchen, lovely new spacious bathroom, large lounge with quality furniture and the ability to adjust central heating at all times in every room. The host Jennifer was very helpful when contacted. Difficult to find initially due to all the one way streets. A wee bit noisy on Friday and Saturday night from the hotel bar behind in the square, but it didn’t bother us. To be fair, the weather was lovely, so people were outside. That is unlikely to be the same over the winter months.

• Ralf (7/5): - Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig. Die Betten sind bequem. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Campbeltown selbst ist niedlich - perfekt für Whiskyliebhaber: Drei Destillerien sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Gegenüber ist Cadenhead's mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Das Bad war sehr sauber. Überwiegend war die Wohnung wie beschrieben eingerichtet. Positiv ist auch dass sie über eine Waschmaschine, einen Trockner und eine Geschirrspülmaschine verfügt. Die Wohnung war teilweise nicht sauber: Der Einfangsflur und die Küche. Das Kochgeschirr ist zu spartanisch, z. B. fehlten Schneidebretter, Gemüsemesser. Teilweise war das Besteck kaputt. Die Küche selbst ist teilweise auch defekt (z. B. Schubläden). Leider war auch eine Jalousie im Wohnzimmer nicht mehr am Fenster sondern auf dem Fenstersims. Im Treppenhaus funktioniert das Licht leider nicht.

• Helen (9/5): Great property central location - Great central spot handy for shops and eating places. We got lucky enough with parking. The apartment itself was spotless with fast WiFi & plenty of equipment. Comfortable beds and the sofas in the lounge were too. I would not hesitate staying here when we are back in Campbeltown. This is really trivial but the pillows where like pancakes. After a quick trip to Tesco,I bought 2 new pillows & slept like a log! The living room could have done with another lamp. For the size of the room there was only 1 tiny bedside type lamp which didn't throw out enough light. The property is beside 2 pubs that have outside seating. It was noisy at the weekend but Sunday & Monday was quiet. I already knew how close the place was to the pubs before I booked so it didn't bother me at all just putting it out there for those who don't.
• Kenneth (7/5): Comfortable but could have been better - Large airy/bright rooms (1) Bedrooms very bright - they definitely need dark out curtains. (2) wands missing from Venetian blinds. (3) no blind at all in kitchen. (4) no plugs for sink. (5) no basin for sink. (6) slip mat an essential for shower tray. (7) no wall holder for shampoos etc - not great for elderly or infirm. (8) contents of toilet soap dispenser was nothing other than coloured water. (9) not much different to kitchen washing up liquid. (10) 3 bulbs not working in living room ceiling light. (11) similar in bedroom. (12) mirror in bedroom should be fixed to wall - dangerous lying propped up against wall. (13)The property is very close to at least 3 pubs with outside seating. It is therefore noisy and you are obviously aware of this well into the evening/early morning. The property would benefit from fitting of decent full length curtains throughout.

• Shirley (8/5): Warm and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. - Property is very central. We were attending function at Town Hall and it was literally a 2 minute walk away. Plenty of bars/restaurants around the property and close to shops. Parking beside property. While the bathroom was finished to an excellent standard it lacked a mirror for shaving etc. No chair in bedroom. No instructions for television or oven. Although we managed to work out both it would have been helpful to have some written instruction. There are 40 odd stairs up to property.

• Alexandra (7/5): All in all we enjoyed our stay, just the addition of the things above would have made it perfect! - Property was very clean and bed comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Great central location. A chair in the bedroom would be good. Mirror was not near a socket for hair drying! A free standing mirror could be put on the windowsill in the bathroom. Nowhere to plug in tumble dryer? Also maybe some pictures in the living room to make it look more homely.

• Pete (8/5): Great apartment, but is noisy at night - The location is excellent for the event we were attending and great being in the center of Campbeltown. The apartment was very clean and of a good standard The noise from the pub :-(
