• Jane (5/5): Disappointing the house is big and could be really nice but it needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning done before it sh - Not far from city centre 10mins in taxi Off road parking Some local shops within 10 min walking Nice size for 4 people The cleanliness and broken appliances Paid an extra £40 cash for cleaner as we had an earlier check in 12.30 instead of 3pm but the house was not cleaned just smelled of bleach the dishwasher had items left in it 1/2 bottles of milk in fridge half opened packets of food in cupboards no towels left in bathrooms paint splats on the floors hairs in shower and around toilet frayed carpets bin was broken one of the toilets was broken didn’t flush and the shower door came off in my hand when I opened it also some of the bed linen was stained . The owner is also not very good at communicating sent several messages before our stay but had no response only responded when we arrived at the property she knew about the broken toilet and wanted to send a plumber during our stay but it would of been an inconvenience for us luckily there were 2 other toilets we could use but we had to keep going up and down stairs to use it and the only shower we could use was a hand held one standing in the bath overall not great stay it’s shame as it’s a big house with lots of potential to be a lot better luckily we were only there for 2 nights although it was a bit disappointing especially as I paid extra for cleaning ?
