• Margot (10/5): - Tout était parfait. L’hôtel est extrêmement bien situé, toutes les visites se font à pied très facilement. Il y a de très bons restaurants autour à moins de 5 minutes à pied. Je suis arrivée très tard car mon bus avait été retardé et l’accueil a été chaleureux. Le personnel est vraiment top. Ma chambre était très confortable. Le petit déjeuné est frais et équilibré. On garde mes bagages gratuitement jusqu’à 22h et on m’a même prêté un parapluie pour la journée. Vraiment merci pour tout !

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent given the value for money of the room. The location superb. In short, hard to see how this could be any better. I booked a budget room but they kindly upgraded me to a different room when it became available. Everything was perfect. I could have stayed here longer.

Rooms are big or small , depends what you wish. The building is nice heritage place near to center and white town. Breakfast is served in the morning. Staff is very attentif and pleasant. Rooms are nice and clean. There is a roof top and space to sit outside on every floor and also downstairs. I recommend. I will come back. Thank you 🙏💯🪷

• louis darnis (8/5): - Le lieu a du charme. Le patron et les employés sont à votre écoute et peuvent vous aider Pour que cela soit excellent, il faut juste ranger différemment le hall d'entrée. Ce qui m'empêchera de revenir tout de même.
• christian (8/5): - L' hôtel est très bien situé, tout est faisable en 10-15min à pieds, le front de mer, le quartier français etc... Ma chambre 201: la chambre est simple, très propre, la literie très confortable, clim au top ainsi que la Wifi. La chambre est juste au-dessus de la réception, donc le bruit monte quand ça papote ( personnellement pas génée, car j'avais des boule Quies, ce qui s'avère aussi pratique, des aboiement des chiens dans la nuit). Dans l'hotel il y a une petite terrasse vers la rue, sympa, avec une table et des chaises. Je pense que c'était le patron, il est très avenant et arrangeant. Très bon petit déjeuner, western style ou indian style. À ma demande j'ai eu du yaourt nature avec les fruits. Très convivial. Au petit déjeuner, on trouve vite le contact avec les autres voyageurs. On se sent vraiment bien dans ce petit établissement. Pour les personnes qui ont des problèmes de jambes/genoux, il y a des escaliers un peu raide à monter pour aller aux chambres

• Astrid (9/5): Charmantes Heritage Guesthouse - Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer mit 2 großen Betten und einem riesigen Fenster in einen grünen Innenhof. Beim Frühstück kam man mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch, was sympathisch war.

In addition to the setting and the charm offered by this old building plus the very warm and attentive welcome from Raja ( sorry if I'm wrong in the spelling) and the people working at the hotel, everything was very good: strategic place place to visit on foot, large room with fan and AC, very comfortable bed, kettle, tea, coffee... hot water for the shower. Raja made me happy by serving an Indian breakfast on the second day; delicious and very filling:) The value for money remains excellent if you take into account that it is at the heart of the city and therefore there is.. life!!:) Renovation works are underway but they in no way hinder the comfort.

• Nisha (10/5): Best homely hotel. - The gentleman in the foyer very kindly gave us a room with a balcony with beautiful lights at night 🌙. Next morning, he gave us a very generous breakfast and lovely tea 🍵. The room was clean and cool and the gentleman was very good to us. The foyer was a bit dusty, not as clean and polished as when we stayed here before. That was the only thing, otherwise it was perfect.

La rue est bruyante mais la nuit c’était ok

Es una casa antigua, muy bien conservada, con un patio/recepción muy bonito que es donde también te dan de desayunar. A la llegada nos dieron a elegir entre dos habitaciones grandes en la parte superior del hotel, que da a una terraza. La habitación y el baño eran amplios, la cama cómoda y todo estaba limpio. El personal del hotel fue muy amable. La wifi funcionaba perfectamente. El precio incluía un desayuno básico: fruta, tostadas, tortilla y té o café. Podían mejorar el desayuno.

• Latha (9/5): Good value for money in the heart of White town - The property is close to all the top sites in White town. The Property has got an old charm to it as the owner Raja explained – the heritage has been retained but certain areas modernised. Raja was extremely accommodating by providing breakfast at around 745 though the official start was only at 8:30. The room was clean and had the basic facilities. The steps to the bathroom are quite high so someone who has knee issues or are elderly may find the rooms quite difficult to navigate

• Niharika (4/5): - The location was great ! First , there was no response to our queries through booking.com. We were worried until the last moment if the accommodation was confirmed or not. Second, we were asked to prepay to a random number. Which booking.com told us specifically not to do. Third , the owner/caretaker of the property was treating this as a kids hostel. Asking us to step inside, saying lights out etc. My husband who came in late, was asked to wait outside and not allowed in ??!? If it's a kids hostel with these unnecessary rules, please straight up mention all these.

• Siju (7/5): A good Stay.. - This small heritage hotel, with its charming inner courtyard, is set in a relatively quiet area. The staff were polite and friendly throughout my stay, which added to the overall comfort. Breakfast was modest but tasty, with enough options to start the day. The bed was also comfortable, making for a generally pleasant experience. This is a good choice for a short stay like one or two days. The hotel felt somewhat worn, and it was clear that some maintenance would be beneficial. Overall, the stay was good but could be improved with a bit more timely maintenance.

• Anna (9/5): - We decided to upgrade our room to a larger one which seemed to be good value for money. This room had good facilities. The breakfast was simple but satisfying. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Everything was within a short walking distance from the accommodation.

• Rosemarie (9/5): Centrally located Pondicherry guest house with friendly and helpful staff - Very friendly and helpful staff, who tried their best to ensure our comfort. The breakfast included is basic but very good. They noticed that I wasn’t eating some of the fruit platter as I’m not keen on melon. Without me saying anything, they adjusted what they served the next morning so I had only the fruits I enjoy. We had a lovely room with our own outside patio area. The location was good too with Heritage and White Town shops and restaurants close by. As with most budget Indian hotels there was no hot water in the ensuite bathroom or shelving or hooks to place towels and toiletries.
