• Lara (9/5): Appartamento comodissimo in pieno centro storico - Posizione ottima nella centralissima via dei calzaiuoli a davvero due passi dal duomo. A metà tra duomo e piazza della signoria. Casa molto grande e dotata di tutto ciò che può servire per un soggiorno magico. Se proprio bisogna trovare un difetto manca la lavatrice e ci sono un po' di scalini da fare per accedere all'appartamento, trattandosi di un terzo piano in un palazzo storico senza ascensore. Comunque niente di proibitivo.

• Wayne (7/5): A pleasant, conveniently situated apartment close to both the commercial and historical areas. - A fantastic location, in a commercial area, with a 5 minute walk to the Duomo & 10 minutes to Ponte Vecchio. Alessandro was a great host and really accommodating with a specific request we had. The single bed was quite basic, there is room in the smaller bedroom for a double bed which would enhance the property.

• Olivia (7/5): Very convenient and useful base from which to explore Florence - Fantastic location minutes from the Duomo. Also really responsive and helpful host who also kindly bought us some breakfast provisions which were waiting on our arrival. The kitchen equipment provided was very basic - for example there was no cheese grater, just one tea towel provided for a 10 day stay, and the washing up liquid was diluted with water. But other guests might not be concerned about these things depending on how much home cooking they are planning to do. The sofa also wasn’t particularly comfortable.

• Vincent (9/5): Idéalement situé ! - L'appartement est idéalement placé entre la cathédrale et le Palazzo Vecchio ou le Ponte Vecchio. Les informations d'accès ont été claires et données suffisamment tôt, l'appartement est facile à trouver et le système de codes plutôt pratique. Le propriétaire est très réactif. L'appartement était très propre, notamment la salle de bain qui est neuve, et a tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner. Nous avons apprécié d'avoir de quoi petit-déjeuner à notre arrivée, ainsi que le café à disposition. La rue est bruyante et les fenêtres en double-vitrage filtrent beaucoup, mais une fois couché on se rend compte du bruit restant de la rue piétonne et du bar sur la placette pas loin. Heureusement, vers 22 ou 23h cela devient plutôt calme, pour recommencer vers 7h. L'appartement n'est pas très lumineux car il donne sur une toute petite rue et donc peu de lumière arrive jusqu'aux fenêtres. Ce n'est pas grave en ce qui nous concerne. Nous avons trouvé les lits plutôt durs, et le nôtre grinçait beaucoup.

• Pauline (8/5): Great location, but the climb up the stairs was hard after walking about in the heat - Apartment is 2 mins from the Duomo, and communication from host was excellent. Overall clean and welcoming, with all basics supplied eg hand soap, washing up liquid, sponge and tea-towel. We struggled to find the door - opposite the Calzaioli Hotel for future travellers. Approx 67 steps to access the apartment was hard work with a heavy suitcase. Chosen as 3 beds in description, but only 2 made up. Host offered cleaning lady to deliver sheets for 2nd (single) bed (as he was out of town), but this did not happen on 1st night. Apparently need to put a request in for this. Modern bathroom with a sensor light and noisy fan opposite living room, so could disturb light sleepers in living room. Sensor light timed out quickly, so need to make sure to put mirror light on.

Everything you want to see no more than 15 mins by foot. The apartments were clean and spacious, the kitchen well stocked with appliances all working well Little bit of street noise over the weekend, but expected more due to being located in one of the main shopping malls

Огромная благодарность Алессандро, который связался с нами заранее, предоставил всю информацию, как попасть в апартаменты и был на связи в любое время суток, помогал, когда нам нужна была помощь. Номер был чистым. В каждой комнате был кондиционер. Посуда, полотенца, бытовая техника была в полном порядке. Расположение великолепное! В шаговой доступности почти ко всем достопримечательностям города. Да, надо подняться по лестнице и мало дневного света, но во Флоренции надо быть к этому готовым, если хочешь расположиться в центре. Так раньше строили . Вечером перед выездом мы получили инструкцию для выезда. Хотелось бы , чтобы были такие мелочи, как соль и душ гель. Мы купили, но оставят ли те, кто убирает номер для будущих клиентов, неизвестно.

Se proprio devo trovare qualcosa, direi le scale, tante e impegnative dopo intere giornate a camminare per visitare la città.

Anfitrião muito simpático e gentil.... faciliotou a nossa chegada e entrada, deu dicas de restaurantes, táxi, enfim.... recomendo. Sabíamos que era andar alto e que não tinha elevador, mas não lembro que saber se era no terceiro andar. Como estávamos com criança pequena, afetou. Subir com malas foi cansativo e fora que nos dias que íamos passear, também era cansativo subir e descer todos os andares. Como dito acima, um pouco barulhento também, mas super bem localizado - tem que se considerar o que é mais importante.
• Sandra (9/5): Lovely accommodation close to everything - I would stay there again! - The apartment is in a great location close to all the sites you may want to see - Uffizi, Accademia, the Bell Tower etc. It had great lighting, air conditioning, the hosts were lovely and helpful, and the apartment was very safe and secure. There was nothing not to like - there were several flights of stairs to get to the apartment as there always is in Italy but because the entrance was secure, you could leave a bag down below, go up the stairs and secure the other in the safe storage place outside the apartment, and then go back down the stairs to collect your other bag. This allowed us to store the bags safely as we had been advised by the hosts and then check in later. :)

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. All was well. Heads up for many stairs if one has heavy luggage or physical disabilities, otherwise just a free opportunity for daily exercise.

Per noi fondamentale la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli nella stanza comune sia prima del check in che dopo il check out,che ci ha consentito di visitate comodamente la città fino all’ultimo!la prossima volta che visiteremo Firenze torneremo certamente qui! • Graciela Maria (10/5): Muy bueno, recomendable - Es muy amplio, cómodo, con buenos utensilios de cocina. Las ventanas con una insonorización espectacular, no se escuchaba nada de afuera. La ubicación perfecta, a dos cuadras de la catedral. Yo me equivoqué con el horario, y agradezco su comprensión. Algo a mejorar son las almohadas de la cama grande. Y bueno, la falta de ascensor que con las maletas se dificultó mucho subir, pero ya nos habían avisado.

Las escaleras son complicadas si tenés muchas valijas (no hay ascensor, pero yo lo sabía). No fue un problema para nosotras.

El check-in autónomo fue muy sencillo y la comunicación con Alessandro, excelente: siempre amable y atento. El departamento estaba limpio, es amplio y muy cómodo. No tuvimos problemas con ruidos externos, ya que la insonorización era muy buena. Si bien está explicitado, y fuimos advertidos, recomiendo no subestimar las escaleras. Son 3 pisos de escaleras empinadas. Si vas ligero de equipaje, no es un problema. Recomendaría mejorar la cama de la habitación principal.

• Steven (8/5): Great location, clean, facilities/furnishing of moderate quality, beware of stairs up to apartment. - Fantastic location, spacious property. Reasonably clean. Good air conditioning, when the system was working. Host/owner very responsive to issues. Less than 5 minutes walk to Duomo and Uffizi gallery, 10 minutes to Ponte Vecchio, 15-20 minutes from train station. Plenty of cafes/restaurants/shops nearby. Be warned that this apartment is a 4th floor walkup with a narrow staircase and no elevator. Difficult to manage luggage up the stairs. Air conditioning shut off each night we were there, however the owner/host was able to reset the system remotely. Furniture/beds of moderate quality, not especially comfortable. TV provided in only the large bedroom (no TV in small bedroom or living space). "Free toiletries" consisted of a previously-used container of body wash from a supermarket.

• Gustavo (5/5): Cleaning job during vacations? - Good location right in the city center, but there's a lot of noise all day and into the night, making it very uncomfortable to rest. The apartment is too small, located at the top of the building, with no elevator, making it very difficult and even dangerous to carry suitcases up and down. The noise from outside is loud and constant, day and night, making it very difficult to rest. The bed and sofa bed are very uncomfortable, and the bathroom is tiny. Worst of all, the people in charge ask you to do all the cleaning upon leaving...washing dishes, drying towels, taking out the trash, leaving everything spotless...even though they charge a cleaning fee for each night paid for.

• Kalina (10/5): Wonderful apartment in the heart of Florence ❤️ - The apartment was truly amazing! Located right in the heart of Florence, between the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria, it takes you less than 5-7 minutes to reach any of the attractions in the area, which is so convenient and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the essence of this magical Renaissance city. It's clean and well equipped with all the necessary amenities, and essentials one might need for a comfortable stay. There're AC units in all the rooms, which was so convenient, the bathroom has also been recently renovated. The self check-in and check-out service was really useful and convenient as well. Our host was really kind and welcoming, and let us leave our luggage in the common area, so that we could go out and start exploring the city whilst our apartment was being prepared for us, which was so nice. He was also always available in case we had any questions. And last, but in no way least, there's also a great view from the living room window overlooking Via dei Calzaiuoli with the Giotto Tower picking at the end, which was so pretty. Overall, we absolutely loved the apartment and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a wonderful and comfortable stay in the central part of beautiful Florence!

Full kitchen, large bathroom. Nice to open bedroom window and hear music below. Apartment was hot and we were unable to change the temperature settings. After finally deciding to reach out to the host, it appeared settings were controlled remotely and he was able to resolve the problem for us. However, I have the same system at home, know how to use it, and would like to be able to control it myself. A TV in living room/sitting area would be a nice perk.

The mattress feels like you are falling to the center of the bed, that needs to be replaced. All the apartments in the building could pay a few hundred euros to a worker to renovate it, as it would change the whole vibe of the place. Bed, mattress and pillows aren't comfortable at all, they're all rusty and old, caused us back pain, we couldn't have a proper sleep. No daily cleaning, they don't change bedsheets and towels during the whole stay, they asked us to take out the trash and dispose it in a different street! we never met the host as no one was there upon check-in (where in the booking details, it was mentioned that someone will meet us there at the apartment during check-in but no one showed up), yet they allowed them selves to enter the apartment whilst we were out, that shouldn't have happened!they mistakenly left signs proving that they were there, like once they turned off the AC (when we actually left it on during a hot day), they also, turned on the towel rack dryer (which we never turned on!) and they turned on the bathroom lights (where we actually left it off!) all of that happened whilst we were outside the apartment! that's really creepy and shouldn't happen. none of that was mentioned in the booking confirmation page! The water was very weak and slowly flowing which is inconvenient especially during shower. stairs are very slippery and some are broken, it is not recommended for someone travelling with luggage. We didn't feel safe honestly.

• L (8/5): Thank Goodness for Great AC - This was a self-service airy flat on the middle of the main street between the Duomo and the Uffizi. Our Florence Airport taxi was efficient, about €40 including extra baggage charge, found the exact address and patiently navigated a street that seemed to be just for wandering pedestrians but actually also for cars, motorcycles and bikes?! Newly updated facilities had excellent AC in the 30C plus heat & needs blackout blinds or curtains. So some teething issues but our host Alessandro was responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Minus are noisy tourists on the main street and stairs to the third floor. Plus is that get to meet some lovely residents.

The mattress/bed base folded in on us so we were basically sleeping on top of each other and the bed was only made up of a sheet. Unfortunately there was no aircon and the ceiling fan in the room wasn't effective enough. This was in October

Some free snacks for breakfast were a very pleasant bonus we didn't expect to have. The cutlery, plates, cups and glasses were good quality and nice which is important for me. The young man who checked us in gave very helpful recommendations as for the places to eat and have a famous Florentine schiacciate sandwiches. Street musicians playing violin and celo in the evening added to the amazing atmosphere of the place. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend in Florence. When I come back, I will definitely choose this place. My father, who slept in the bedroom, said the mattress was a bit funny. Even if he wanted to sleep on one side of the bed, he ended up in the middle anyway. But it wasn't critical.

• Yuko (9/5): highly recommended accommodation - the location, the cleanness of the room, the staff who helped the check in easy to be back to the room between visits I though I left my small bag and so I contacted the owner and the owner asked the cleaning person to check the room I was well looked after even after check out it’s on the 4th floor without elevator, it was difficult to bring the suitcase downstairs when checking out the noise from the bar on the ground floor, which did not bother much as I was very tired and fell asleep in one second

• Gamini (9/5): Superb - Good location, central to everything, Friendly team, had everything you needed. Clean and simple decor. Maybe difficult for older people to get luggage upto apartment. Staff available to help on arrival but could be difficult for some leaving. Odd request to empty bins on departure.
• Daniela (9/5): Great little apartment for short or longer stays. - Very central location, easy access to shopping and food. Apartment was well kept, stocked and very quiet. Check-in with Guia was super simple and the recommended list of places to eat at were fantastic for the first day when orienting to the city. Wifi dropped in and out occasionally.
• Juan (4/5): Disappointing - The location. It doesn't have AC. We went during the heatwave and we really suffered that the apartment doesn't have AC. It was too hot !
• Evangeline (7/5): Great location, no air, lacking owner communication awful mattress, lots of steps, breakfast not included - The location was great, steps from the Duomo. The size of the apartment was very spacious, very clean, good size bathroom, handy kitchen with stove and fridge. Although outside was very loud, when the windows were closed you could not hear any of the outside noise. Furnishings are simple and sparse but ok. The communication with Alessandro was not good at all. Several messages sent but response time was poor at best. The mattress in the smaller bedroom needs to be replaced immediately, it sags terribly and is very uncomfortable. Although it states clearly in the listing on Booking.com that breakfast is included, it is not included. Also stated clearly is NO air conditioning, thank goodness it was not stifling hot and a good breeze came at night. There was a ceiling fan in one bedroom but not the smaller bedroom. There was an oscillating fan in the living room/kitchen. It needs to have air conditioning. It’s also on the 3rd floor with no elevator (also clearly stated in listing) but until you get there with a huge piece of heavy luggage you think it doesn’t matter, it does matter because it’s very difficult to navigate.
• Asteway (7/5): Good - The location is very good. Most of the main attractions of Florence are in walking distance. Best location. Lack of key facilities like lift, AC, washing machine etc....made our stay a bit hard, but, we managed. The hosts tried to make the place good.
• Monica (9/5): Well located apartment with lovely staff in Florence - Really well located and property manager was excellent. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. The property doesn’t really look like the photos - a bit older but still sufficient and nice.
• Craig (10/5): Sensational. Loved the city, loved the apartment. Will definitely return. - Location, Location, Location ... Great apartment Hand over of the keys tonthe apartment. A couple of flights of stairs up to the lift; but once inside with the luggage this wasn't an issue
• Joan (5/5): Great location but not a very comfortable stay. - Location was fantastic Over 40 degrees and no air conditioning and only one fan. The ceiling fan in one bedroom you could barely feel. The outlets in the second bedroom did not work. The outlet in the living room overheated my electronics.
• Bruce (4/5): Would have been absolutely perfect if there was AC! - The location was fantastic at 1 min walk from the Duomo. Unfortunately, there was no AC and it was very hot in the apartment. The apartment is situated in a very busy street (great location) which is noisy until late in the night (especially since there is a restaurant under the room window) and starts very early in the morning (street cleaning and store supplying) which would be no problem if there was AC and we could close the windows. Bottom line we barely slept during the stay and also we could not rest during the day as it was hot and noisy. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable.
