Guest Reviews
- Stephanie (10/5): - Very nice and a great location..
- Kim (4/5): Would have been good to have local map available. - Location is really good. The stairs are a hazard, very narrow and very steep. Getting luggage up to bedrooms was difficult.
- David (7/5): Whitstable house close to town. - Short walk to town centre and beach. Clean and comfortable. The stairs are very steep with narrow treads and would definitely be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. There are also potential trip hazards with differences in levels going from dining area to kitchen and from bedroom to upstairs bathroom.
Car parking is an issue as the street is narrow with no parking on one side. Adjacent streets wee also very busy with few parking spaces.
- Jill (10/5): Wonderful Whitstable home from home - Property was so close to the high street and therefore the beach and everything you could possibly want during the stay. There was absolutely nothing to dislike!
- Jessica (8/5): Cosy, comfortable - the perfect little seaside getaway! - Cosy, comfortable, felt like a proper holiday home not just a copy-paste airbnb Logs provided for fireplace were too large - passed this feedback on
- Wayne (10/5): Lovely place and close to everything - Homely Parking
- susan (9/5): - In good location for amenities. Got taxis for going further
Loved the little garden. Maybe better pillows.
- wendy (9/5): Really enjoyable stay - Location and property great Parking was an issue
- Lilian (9/5): - Warm and comfortable, well located, very clean. Excellent value for money. Pretty garden. Some milk waiting for us, so we could immediately make a cup of tea on arrival!
- marcus (10/5): Exceptional, comfortable and fantastic location whenever we stay in Whitstable we will look to book again - The property is easy to find, clear instructions a few days before regarding entering the property with all the information required. Literally a 2 minute walk through an alley way straight into the town centre, perfect location. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. There was even a welcome bottle of Prosecco on the table for up upon arrival. N/A
- Wendy (10/5): - Lovely comfortable property, the garden was lovely. Nice short walk from the station and very close to the high street. Short walk to the harbour and beach. Would visit again.
- Neil (9/5): We can recommend this cottage as a great place to stay. - Great location, a short walk from the high street. A very pleasant cottage, well-equipped and tastefully renovated. It was useful to have 2 showers and toilets. There was plenty to see and visit in and around Whitstable. Leeds Castle, Walmer Castle, Canterbury, Stoneacre House and Pugin's house were interesting locations to visit. We especially liked walking to the high street to try the large variety of coffee shops. In addition we found a variety of good restaurants/pubs for our evening meals. It was most enjoyable to eat our breakfast in the garden. Thank you for the Prosecco. The problem with downstairs toilet tap was resolved very quickly. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The biggest problem was parking which was very difficult. It would have been helpful if the advertising details had been more honest about this. There were a few niggly details, such as the problem locking and unlocking the front door. It was fiddly and difficult to unlock the front door and, at times, almost impossible to lock it. The main light in the living room did not work. Both these problems had been mentioned by other guests. It would be very useful to provide a second key in the lockbox, especially given the fact that when the door closes it is not possible to open it from the outside, despite the fact that it has not been securely locked with the key. (The difficulty actually locking it properly is mentioned above.)

- Andy (9/5): Superb - Location was great - easy walk to all of Whitstable area - and house super comfy and clean. Street parking is difficult. We used the Gorrell Tank car park which is close by and was great for overnight.

- Garry (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect peaceful location but ideally located for town ,shops etc
Clean tidy n cosy with a cute garden area. Car parking can be tight but that's a Whistable thing by the looks of it .
- Steven (8/5): Great location in Whitstable. - Comfy bed and great bathroom with plentiful hot water for a relaxing bath.
Proximity( 50 yards) to the high street, yet quiet location.
Whitstable has great facilities for a great holiday and is very user friendly! ☺️ Parking was very random. Not enough spaces for demand nearby.Expect to have to park some distance away from property at times.
Property could do with a little maintenance here and there but overall our experience was a good one.
- Leslie (10/5): Perfect short stay property - Everything was provided and the location was perfect. We loved sitting in the garden and looking at all the gorgeous flowers Nothing
- Yvonne (8/5): Comfortable cottage in central location - all appliances worked Difficult parking
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Nice cottage, a very friendly owner and neighbors. Good situated and well equipped. The dishes weren't really clean.
Parking near the cottage almost impossible.
