• Hugh (7/5): Eventful and great view. - Great location and the view was superb! The suite was too warm and turning the thermostat down made the temperature go up. The temperature was 74F on our arrival and went up to 76 about an hour later. It did eventually did decrease to 72 by morning. We slept with the window open to cool the room. We were woken by Greg after we went to sleep to get his phone out of the owner's car. Being woken up at 11:30PM was not appreciated. Other than that a great stay; a bit expensive considering the time of year.
• Kenneth (10/5): Very Clean Accomodatons with a Great View- Pure Relaxation - The location is overlooking the ocean water. The view is spectacular. The apartment was very clean and well equipped for longer stays. All the features, shower, TV, etc, are top of the line. We stayed 5 nights. Joyce, our host was very quick to respond to any of our queries. Joyce is very helpful and friendly. We felt very much at home. The area is extremely quiet. This is the place to go if you need to relax and get away from it all. Chemainus has a very small town feel to it and we enjoyed the many murals and the little cafes.

• Gérard (6/5): Nice place but make sure you get the house and not the basement - Location was great and basement apartment was Almost new. The fact that you see pictures of the house with a great living room and balcony with beautiful view if you check it out on booking.com. But you and up in the basement apartment and that is something you don’t see coming. A bit misleading if you ask me.

• Miet (9/5): Stay at enormous house with great view and super friendly host! - My tourist guide mentioned Cowichan means "warm country" which our host from the booking showed us with some great tips (e.g. whalewatching tour) and even offering to do groceries for us :-)! The house is very spacious, same as the terrace which on top has a fabulous view! The house is fully equipped with all really everything you can think off (latest most modern of everything)! Also a lot of glass & porcelain everywhere which is a little bit scary as you don't want to break anything.

This place definitely exceeded our expectations. Beautiful new home with a deck and a few that is just incredible. We need to stay longer!

Convenient to Victoria and Nanaimo, and short drive to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Luxerious apartment with very comfortable beds, fireplace, easy chairs overlooking the water, and gourmet kitchen. Lots of counter space for group meals. Very clean, and nice hosts. Nothing. When we arrived we immediately wanted to extend our stay, but we had booked nonrefundable lodging in Vancouver for the latter part of our trip.
• Dorothy (10/5): You should be so lucky to be able to stay here!!! - The house was amazing and was stocked with everything, especially the kitchen! Beauty everywhere. The master bedroom bed was beyond comfortable, and the views were amazing!! Love living on the water, hearing the waves, and watching the tides. The deck across the back of the house was incredible. I travel extensively and can't think of anything that was unlikeable. I would've liked a closet in my bedroom but did without just fine.

• Derek (9/5): Beuatiful view from a luxerious place - the view, the well furnished deck, large king bed in primary bedroom, very clean, close parking, quiet neighbourhood beautiful outdoor flowers and friendly deer. the second bedroom could use a fan and the bed was a little hard. the shower height in the guest bath is curiously short and seems only for younger kids.
