Guest Reviews
- Delia (10/5): - Tutto perfetto, host molto disponibile e gentile. Casa grande, bellissima vista
- Chamberlain (8/5): Very lovely - wanted to stay longer - Amazing view and lovely spacious property. Slightly wiffy sink - possible u bend issue? Also some lightbulbs missing
- Amy (10/5): We had a brilliant and memorable vacation in Melissa’s beautiful house! - We absolutely loved the beautiful location and the spacious rooms! The open kitchen was so wonderful, and double family rooms let us spread out! The host Melissa clearly communicated and made everything easy with check in and check out! There wasn’t anything not to like!

- Constantin (10/5): - Very nice house, clean and well kept, it had everything you would need, the location is amazing.

- John (9/5): Loved it and the location - Was so near tge town The outside road was very muddy , and the matresses were a bit hard, not sure if u could get a taxi or not to town
- Winah (10/5): - The property is surrounded by an amazing view, one of the reasons why I chose this properry. The house is very clean and with excellent communication from Melissa. Easy check in and check out. Well equiped kitchen. It would probably be so much better to stay on summer months with less chance of rain to really enjoy being out of the back seating area facing the Killeybegs. We wished we stayed longer. Just one tiny thing, to make sure that you will bring your own toiletries i.e. shampoo etc. Other than that, we had a great and relaxing stay. None
- Siobhan (8/5): Beautiful Home away from Home - House was very well maintained and clean. Really felt like a comfortable home with beautiful views. Kitchen had everything you could need! Games went down a treat with 2 kids. The shower pressure was not great but manageable.

- Gower (9/5): A very nice house in a brilliant location, especially during the good weather we had. - The view across Killybegs Harbour was spectacular, especially from the decking area, which soon turned into my favourite spot for cups of tea and relaxing The final road way up was very rough on our cars, with large loose stones and potholes. There were no instructions on how to work the electric ceramic hob, which was unfamiliar to all of us, so we had to Google how to use it.
- Emma (10/5): Family Vacay to Killybegs. - The property was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. We were travelling with our 7 month old baby and they happily provided a cot and high chair for him. There is so much to do around the area, including Slieve league cliffs and not to mention all the beaches around!! We wished we stayed longer! Nothing, everything was great. We have booked to return next summer

- Mags (10/5): - Fantastic house and amazing view. 4 large double rooms and very spacious living area. House was very clean and checkin / checkout process was seemless. Perfect for 4 couples.
Great base for exploring killybegs and the surrounding area. Not a problem for us but important to have a car. Road surface up to house could be improved.
- Deirdre (9/5): Highly recommended! - Our family had a wonderful stay at this property! The house is in a wonderful location and was an ideal base for our sightseeing tours and hiking around the area! The house was well equipped for self catering but there are also many place to dine in Killybegs if you so choose. The spacious bedrooms were clean and comfortable and having three bathrooms was a real bonus! There were many extras provided like board games for the kids or binoculars to watch the boats arriving into the harbour. Melissa responded very promptly to our requests and all in all we had a wonderful time. I would have no hesitation in returning to this property and would recommend it to anyone who likes a quiet, peaceful location surrounded by beautiful countryside! We liked everything!
- Chris (8/5): Lovely house, Melissa was very helpful. - Beautiful property.
- Ailish (10/5): A revisit for sure - The house is huge and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and so is the rest of the house. The bedding was clean, comfortable and plenty spare blankets, pillows and linens. The location was absolutely stunning as we looked out towards Killybegs (amazing restaurants and cafes there too, only ten minute drive with free parking). One evening we had eight people in the house and even those that slept on the couches were impressed with how well they slept. The driveway could hold three cars without obstructing each other and some more if need be.
I would recommend this property highly and this will definitely be a revisit! I would suggest a simple hatch lock on the bathrooms but that's just a personal preference. The hair dryer was broken unfortunately but that's an easy fix and didn't impact our stay!
No complaints at all, we loved our stay :)
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful house
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - The house was lovely tbf .....lovely view of killybegs We were happy with everything
- Derek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional - The house was super - lovely big rooms, plenty of space.
Exceptionally clean - very good facilities.
Well equiped kitchen - 2 lovely lounges/TV rooms
Stunning views - lots of wild life in the garden - hares, foxes and even saw a badger.
Check in and check out were so easy It might have been good if there was a quick sheet left with instruction on how to use induction hob and cooker.
I did use google and worked out the hob - but was able to manage the bottom oven.
But this did'nt impact on our over all experience
- Kara (10/5): Stunning house and location, a treat to stay in and enjoy local food and attractions in abundance - Absolutely amazing house, spacious, clean, amazing location w views across the sea to Killybegs. Easy to get to so many attractions in south Donegal and fabulous restaurants. House was lovely and warm upon arrival and the whole time. Fab to have 2 living rooms and 2 TVs amongst the 5 of us. We just savored staying here and will def come back. We ate at the Abbey Hotel and Olde Castle Seafood in Donegal Town; Ahoy Cafe for breakfast and Tara Hotel in Killybegs. All top quality meals we were raving about. We went to Slieve League Cliffs, Glenveagh National Park and the Coral Strand Beach. Loved everything Nothing at all!
