• Florence (1/5): A fuir ! - Rien Nous sommes arrivés au logement et avons constaté qu’il est dans un état de propreté inacceptable, ne correspondant pas à la description ni aux photos de l’annonce. Problèmes constatés : • Sols et surfaces très sales ne semble jamais lavés. • Salle de bain dans état de saleté inacceptable et même chose pour la cuisine avec plein de vaisselles partout. • Literie tachée et odeur désagréable, moisissure sur les fenêtres - la cour extérieur ressemble à une décharge Nous avons pris plusieurs photos comme preuves. Compte tenu de ces conditions, nous ne sommes restés qu’une seule nuit sur deux. C’est honteux de laisser ces personnes louer ces chambres dans cet état d’insalubrité !

Le service client booking n'a pas répondu à ma demande et donc aucun remboursement. Remboursement demandé dans le cadre d'une réaction forte à la poussière dans le logement. Problème d'hygiène général.Nuit passée dans le logement 1/5 nuit. J'ai réservé une chambre d'hôtel en urgence, dans une ville extrême coûteuse financièrement.

• Michael (1/5): Economic dirty disaster, perfect for keeping you sleepless throughout your whole vacation. - It was walking distance from a nice park and close to metro station. There were disinfecting wipes convenient considering you had to clean everything you touched. Cute dog upstairs though. The whole basement apartment smelled, was full of hair and spiders. The bathroom had no bath mat, clean hand soap, or sanitary surfaces to put anything on. It was full of dust, hair, and mold with only a dirty hairy bar soap provided. You couldn’t lay, sit, or move a single limb without the bed making an insane amount of noise. The whole place had paper thin walls while also undergoing construction our whole stay. Only one towel provided per guest even though we booked for almost a week. There was no screen on the windows meaning if you want any fresh air prepare to have bees, flies, and raccoons all within fingers reach. Overall a terrible stay regardless of price I think the minimum is not having to clean everything you want to use during your stay.

• Shiho (8/5): Very good - It was really close to the place I wanted to go. Good walk to Metrotown. Also walking distance from the Edmonds station. Very quiet neighborhood. If possible, they can put some papertowel or kitchen towel or something in the kitchen area. Also paper towels in the bathroom. However, it was fine I brought some extra towel with me.

• Peter (4/5): Disapointing - Good location, 15 minute walk through a park from the skytrain station. Bed was comfortable and online communication with the owner was good. No in person contact. The common areas, dining room, kitchen and bathroom were all dirty, and obviously had not been cleaned before our stay. We had bought a breakfast to eat, but decided to go out after we saw the uncleanliness of the kitchen. The bathroom sink and mirror were covered in soap stains and the shower had some mold in it.

• Lily (3/5): Not worth $100, would have rather stayed in a tent. - The location was decent and the sheets and towels were clean. It’s super cluttered and dirty. The front entrance reeks like cat piss and mold and the floor is sticky everywhere. In our room by the bed there was blood on the floor.

• Lucie (3/5): The property is plagued by poor cleanliness, with dirty bathrooms and a cluttered exterior that over - We stayed at the Economical Home Stay for just one night. However, even the arrival at the building was accompanied by an incredible mess. The rooms themselves aren’t that bad, and they look relatively decent. Unfortunately, the omnipresent dirt, uncleaned bathroom, and the mess in the yard in front of the building suggested that we would never visit this accommodation again. It’s not that cheap, and cleaning and mopping daily shouldn’t be an issue. I doubt that the bed linen was clean and freshly washed. It would also be good to equip the kitchen, at least with basic items like glasses, a kettle, etc. I cannot recommend this place.

• Jen (9/5): Very comfortable and in a great neighborhood - It was a great location, very quiet but super close to transit. The house was clean and comfortable, they added a fan due to the hot weather and had extra blankets in the room if it was cold. Very safe place with a kind family. I really enjoyed my stay and will be coming back! The only thing I would suggest is adding a microwave.
• Heather (1/5): This place was dirty enough that we weren’t comfortable staying and ultimately booked a separate stay somewhere else. - Surrounding neighborhood seemed okay. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Really dirty. Outside was surrounded by junk and trash which made for musty, moldy air even with the windows open.
• Ewan (5/5): Convenient location and a generally cozy area, but somewhat spoiled by a lack of cleanliness. - The host is very accommodating which is nice. The location of the stay is also convenient to the sky train. Lots of street parking which is great as well. The accommodations were not clean. The bathroom floors were pretty filthy, so shower shoes are a necessity. In general I had trouble feeling comfortable here due to the lack of cleanliness. My review would be much higher if the property was cleaner. Having an unclean area would be unacceptable of a hotel.

• Michelle (5/5): BYO cleaning products for this one. - Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had the essentials (but no microwave). Comfortable temperature and adequate facilities. Use of laundry was fabulous. 10mins to closest train. Bathroom was dirty and when I asked for products to clean it, the host came and did it himself, but it was still dirty. Asked again for cleaning products the next morning and was told it was clean, the tiles were just old. Host eventually came and cleaned it again and left cleaning products there. Finally was able to scrub areas myself to prove that they do come clean with some effort. Have to conclude that we have different standards of clean than the hosts.
• Alexandra (9/5): Conveniently located, very accommodating and affordable - Easy to find, close to public transit. The owners are very accommodating. It’s basic with everything you need. I would definitely recommend or stay here again. Walls and floors are a bit thin so be prepared for a bit of noise but still very worthwhile to stay at.

Because it was a shared accommodation the cleanliness and organization of the shared kitchen, bathroom and eating area were not what I was accustomed to. I don't know how that can be improved as each guest has different expectations and the hosts cannot be expected to be our maids.

• Galo (5/5): The place has everything you need for a short stay only feedback is the smell and a dirty bathroom - The room was clean and the bed is comfortable. The location is wonderful! The bathroom was very dirty and wasn't cleaned once during my stay. Also there is a smell like humid in the whole area. A dehumidifier would be needed to get rid of the smell.

We got there late, but the host was able to accommodate us with no issues, which was really nice The bathroom got drenched really easily because there was no bath mat, so you always had to wear shoes everything you went to the washroom.

• Joyce (10/5): Highly recommended - The hosts were friendly, polite and helpful. The laundry facilities was located in a locked part of the car port so there was limited noise and no time restrictions. The host did their upmost best in making sure we had everything we needed to make our week long stay comfortable. The host unexpectedly gifted my daughter a box of sensory play. The property was near a bus stop that goes to the SkyTrain loop so we were able to leave the vehicle parked for a few days Shower only, however I spoke with the host prior to arrival so it wasn't a surprise
