• Ij (10/5): Great short Christmas weekend in Rome! - This is a well-designed apartment. It's a 2-bedroom apartment with shared kitchenette. Our room had access to personal veranda which was really nice. But the other room can also go to the neighbouring veranda via the kitchnette way. Kitchen had small electric stove with pot and pan provided to warm up our food before heading out. There's a small fridge in the shared kitchen and also in the room. They provided x2 water bottles (very much appreciated) and coffee capsules for the coffee machine in the room. The room is spacious with a large VERY COMFORTABLE bed and pillows! The firmness of both was just perfect. We didn't have the easiest start of trip to Rome/accessing the apartment but Emanuele was very much helpful. Everything worked for the better in the end. I had to emphasise the comfort of the bed as we had the best sleep after a tiring productive day! I've been to a number of accommodations with travelling but so far this was the best bed --- it's the kind you would select for your own comfort in your private space. The toilet was clean and supplied with shampoo, body wash and hair blower. Very much appreciate the clean towels aswell. The area was quiet despite being opposite the hospital. There are nearby cafés and convenient store within 5minutes walk. The bus and tram stop is just 2 minutes walk. We really liked the area; you can easily get to the busy city centre and yet have your peace in the apartment. Distance from airport was ~20minutes by car. We took taxi and paid ~ €50 but this was travelling past midnight. Emanuele was very helpful in providing guidance in our transport and accommodating late checkin. Returning to the airport was via 10minutes tram to Roma Trastevere and 25minutes train (€8 per head). Overall it's been a very pleasant stay and short visit in Rome. Thanks so much Emanuele for all your help! We already recommended your place to our friends! Nothing really. All is well.
