• Ludolf (10/5): Great place to stay in Ballyconneely. - Lovely stay at Ballyconneely house. Good access to whole Connemara area if you like exploring the area. Pub across the road had good food. Family made us feel at home.

• Massimiliano (10/5): Tanta pioggia ma per fortuna avevo una camera bellissima in un posto blellissimo - Struttura bellissima con panorama mozzafiato, camera ampia, pulita, confortevole e molto accogliente. La famiglia molto gentile e disponibile. Purtroppo il forte maltempo e l'essere in motocicletta ha messo in luce certi limiti della struttura. Ma si tratta di una situazione eccezionale. L'essere un po' isolati, con poche strutture vicine, nessun pasto fornito e nemmeno l'uso di una cucina in questo caso sono stati un limite. Ma la struttura la consiglio assolutamente

Had we known there was only 1 bed we wouldn't have booked. Having said that we couldn't fault the accommodation or the host. The description needs amending.

• Kathleen (9/5): A very comfortable, pleasant stay in a large room with attached bath, with great views - The room was clean, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Our host and her children were welcoming and friendly. The view from the property was amazing! We were very comfortable staying there. The parking was great! I didn't realize from the listing that it was a room in a house. The host made us feel very comfortable entering the house at any time, but I think it should be clearer in the listing that the room does not have a separate entrance. Also, the directions to the house were somewhat vague, even using a maps program. However, when we contacted the host she quickly gave us additional directions and offered to meet us outside.

The room was impeccably clean and ensuite was like a spa with so many generous eco friendy products. There is a kettle and mini fridge in the room. The view from the room is stunning and local shop is walking distance. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe there and I had the best nights sleep. Bernie and her lovely family gave me lots of brilliant tips on where to eat and visit nearby. 5 stars, would highly recommend and will be back! N/A
