Guest Reviews
- Emily (10/5): Perfectly lovely home base for a Devonian holiday - The location was perfect! The cottage was clean and cozy. They made excellent use of the space and the beds were very comfortable. When we wanted to stay an extra night, they were very accommodating and made everything easy. The game room was also great but we were too tired to use it most days because of how much hiking we could get in!
- Nigel (10/5): - Good location, game's room, well fitted out, comfortable bed.

- Trish (10/5): A charming farm cottage - The cottage gave us a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and well equipped.
- Anthony (9/5): Ideal cottage for N. Devon - Lovely cottage in an ideal location. It was clean and comfortable - just what we needed.
Short drive to Ilfracombe and nicely placed for reaching the rest of North Devon. Good food at the village inn and supermarket 5 min drive away.
Book this cottage, and you won't be disappointed!
- James (9/5): Comfortable pretty location for North Devon exploration - Peaceful pretty countryside location. Great base for exploring North Devon. Has all modcons for self catering. Beautiful surroundings. I would recommend this cottage. Nothing
- Erminia (8/5): - We had a lovely stay at this homely, cosy cottage. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. The games room was a real hit with our teenage boys, and their shared room had enough space for them. The location was excellent, close to stunning beaches, supermarkets, a pub and other local amenities. We had a wonderful time.
- Debs (9/5): Lovely cottage - Lovely cottage, nicely led out and everything you need. Would highly recommend. Great location for ilfracombe and Barnstaple, which we had planned visits to, to meet friends. Pub in village was welcoming and served great food, highly recommend the cheesecake. Dripping tap in the kitchen, and that was only noticed because we had a young puppy, so I spent the early morning on the sofa.
Neighbours that arrived on Sunday took over the whole front lawn and were very noisy. Their dog was also not on a lead.
- Jill (7/5): Good - It was extremely clean and well maintained. However, it was very, very small and found ourselves bumping into each other or hurting ourselves passing furniture, etc. I think it's very unfair to advertise it as accommodating 4 people.
- Eleanor (10/5): Exceptional - Compact cozy place with everything we needed for the stay and a great location for exploring north Devon.
- Sonia (10/5): Perfect in every way! - Fabulous cottage with everything beautifully presented and provided. Location perfect for Lundy, Exmoor, and the surrounds. The cottage grounds & parking facilities made this trip so easy - highly recommend. Thank you, Lindsey.
- Penny (9/5): Great cottage, really cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed - would highly recommend! - The cottage was really comfortable and clean, and in a great location.
- Abbi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clive (10/5): Perfect location to explore the area - Location was perfect, great facilities, everything you would need, comfortable, clean and great Communication. Wi fi good too. Leaving
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Teresa (10/5): Came away feeling totally refreshed. - Perfect cozy cottage. It had everything we needed, with the added bonus of a dog hamper, filled with bowl, toys & treats Was rather chilly on arrival, but totally blame that on our fantastic (not) British summer.
- Julia (10/5): Very comfortable and great location for where I was working in Croyde - Location, easy to find The key safe was a bit tricky, everything else was great.
- Barry (10/5): Perfect - Great location, well equipped, spotlessly clean.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (10/5): Excellent quality, home from home - Lovely little cottage, home from home. Loved that it was close to Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and more. Long walks on the beach. Our pet also absolutely loved her holiday.
Nice meal at the Crown Inn, just a 5 minute drive from cottage. Loved every moment. Thank you to our host. Nothing ....perfect holiday.
- Amy (8/5): Very good -
- Maureen (8/5): We enjoyed our stay. - We had very bad weather but the cottage was cold and it felt very damp
- Fiona (9/5): Superb - The fact that the cottage had everything you needed Fact you had no enclosed garden for the dog lovely clean cottage with everything you could need in it
- Jackie (6/5): Pleasant, compact cottage. You do need a car for your trip. - The cottage is compact but comfortable. The kitchen small, with a combi oven, which I'm sure would be easy to use when you got used to it. I worked out how to microwave, but didn't take it any further! Pleasant bathroom with a decent size shower tray .The weather was not kind to us and had we not had the dog with us, the games room would have been a bonus - dogs not allowed in. Similarly, there is a nice little picnic area behind the properties which would have been lovely if the weather had been better. The dog exercise area was left unkempt, apart from a mowed path through it. This meant that I could not properly exercise my small dog and there is nowhere else in the vicinity to let her off the lead, without first getting in the car. I did however, find a good recreation ground in Braunton (five miles away), for her early morning run.
Sadly the only pub/ food place within walking distance was closed for refurb. However the lovely new owners recommended the Williams Arms just outside Braunton, which proved to serve excellent food and also be dog friendly. One point to note - this property is on bus route but buses are few and far between.
- Alex (10/5): peace and quiet very clean and value for money - the location which is nice and peaceful and the property was great can’t say a bad word about the place or our stay
- Sugrue (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): excellent would definitely stay again and recommend. - it had everything needed, spotlessly clean nothing to complain about. perfect.
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debbie (10/5): Our stay at Honeysuckle cottage - Beautiful well equipped, clean cottage, everything close by and very homely!!
Made use of the games room and felt very at home in the fully equipped cottage.
- Athers32 (10/5): Highly recommended, a lovely family cottage - We had a wonderful break in Honeysuckle Cottage. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were great, the kitchen well stocked, the kids appreciated having Netflix etc and we all enjoyed the playroom and tennis court.
We will definitely be returning again!
