• Marianne (9/5): Geweldig!! - Het is er prachtig, leuk verblijf met een ongelooflijk mooi uitzicht. Heerlijk ontbijt en de mannen verzorgen zelfs op verzoek een geweldig diner voor een zeer nette prijs. Mooie rondleiding gekregen door het mooie dorpje en een wandeling naar boven naar het kerkje in de rotsen. We hebben hier 2x een nacht verbleven en komen zeer graag nog eens terug. Chris en John zijn geweldige gastheren. Dat we weer naar huis moesten!
• Táňa (10/5): Splněný sen - Kouzelná vesnička Velanidia, dům s velmi vkusným a originálním interierem plným uměleckých publikací, rozlehlá zahrada. Kulinářské požitky, způsobené Johnem a Kryštofem, umocňující a podtrhující dokonalost zcela vyjímečného místa. Osobní přistup hostitelů, neformální zájem o naše zájmy :), tipy na toulání po okolí. Co víc si přát? :) Vše bylo perfektní!
• Jerome (10/5): Wunderschöner Aufenthalt an einem magischen Ort - Einfach alles hat uns hier gefallen, von den sehr herzlichen Gastgebern über das liebevoll eingerichtete Haus bis zu der wunderschönen Lage. Wir genossen jeden Morgen den Sonnenaufgang und anschliessend ein hausgemachtes leckeres Frühstück auf dem Balkon. Das kleine Städtchen Velanidia ist definitiv sehenswert.

• Jens (9/5): - Sehr schönes Dorf, laid-back, so stelle ich mir die Dörfer auf den griechischen Inseln vor, bevor der Massentourismus einsetzte. Weiß und Blau. Ziemlich abgelegen. Bis zum nächsten Ort muss man immer eine halbe Stunde über den Berg fahren. Aber wenn man Abgeschiedenheit will, dann super.

• Ardit (10/5): - Çdo gjë ishte super 👌 Pamja nga ballkoni fantastike. Shtëpia shumë e pastër, e rehatshme dhe e menduar në detaj. Mëngjesi i pergatitur nga i zoti i shtëpise shumë i shijshēm dhe i bollshëm. John ishte shumë i sjellshem, mikpritës, i buzëqeshur dhe në ikje na bëri dy dhurata shumë te bukura, një detaj shume i këndshëm nga ana e tij. Vendi ideal për t'u relaksuar plotesisht.
• Jerome (10/5): Un bel appartement décoré avec goût et dans un beau cadre ..et un super accueil par les hôtes - Le logement est situé à 1 km du village de Velanidia. L'accès en voiture n'est pas facile (route étroite, rues étroites et en pentes) mais une fois arrivé, on se sent parfaitement bien. L'appartement est joliment décoré et offre une vue imprenable sur la mer en contrebas. Les hôtes, John (anglais vivant en Grèce depuis longtemps) et Christo (grec originaire du village) sont vraiment sympathiques et accueillants En dépannage, ils peuvent vous préparer un plat pour manger le soir (la taverne du village est souvent fermée). Le lieu est idéal pour les personnes qui aiment les coins isolés et dans une belle nature Rien
• FRANCOIS (10/5): Idyllique - Nous avons tout aimé ! Accueil très convivial de John et Christos. Des hôtes charmants et amicaux. Très beau petit appartement dans lequel règne la sérénité. Une vue exceptionnelle sur le village traditionnel en terrasse ainsi que sur la mer, sans oublier le magnifique jardin arboré dans lequel s'épanouissent nombre d'oliviers. Très bon petit déjeuner préparé par John comme à la maison. De belles discussions, une grande disponibilité et une discrétion bienveillante. Lieu unique et enchanteur ! Un véritable havre de paix où nous reviendrons plusieurs jours pour explorer la région. Idéal pour les amoureux de la nature. MERCI RIEN

• Renate (10/5): - Ein gemütliches, liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen in traumhafter Lage mit tollen Gastgebern! Frühstück und optionales Abendessen sind ausgezeichnet. Wenn man Ruhe und eine herrliche Landschaft schätzt, findet man hier ein Paradies.

Το σπίτι του Χρήστου ήταν υπέροχο, πεντακάθαρο και πολύ άνετο.Είναι εμφανές ότι ο χώρος είναι πολύ ξεχωριστός, φτιαγμένος με μεράκι από τον ιδιοκτήτη που σε κάνει να νιώθεις άνετα από την πρώτη στιγμή!! Ο Χρήστος και ο George με το υπέροχο πρωινό του, μας κάναν να νιώσουμε πραγματικά σαν το σπίτι μας!! Σας ευχαριστούμε για την πανέμορφη φιλοξενία,θα μας μείνει αξέχαστη!!

• Eliana (10/5): A hidden Paradise - I probably discovered one of my favorite places in the world. The studio where we slept was incredible, with a breathtaking view of the sea. We stayed (unfortunately) for just one night, and enjoyed a spectacular dinner at sunset and an amazing breakfast prepared by John and Christos. The place is beautiful but they, with their energy, make it super special. We hope to come back soon!

From the warm welcome to the comfortable accommodation, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location was ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions. John and Christos were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, even offering great recommendations for sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh, local ingredients that gave us a true taste of the region. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! If you’re looking for a charming, relaxing, and perfectly hosted stay, Strongilos Homestay is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

• David (10/5): Another fabulous stay, we hope to return. - This was our second visit in 12 months and once again it was a delight to meet our attentive hosts John & Christos. To be sat on the balcony again, sipping coffee and looking through the Cypress trees to the sea, was so relaxing and de-stressing we didn’t want to leave. The room, as before, was clean and comfortable with a fridge, kettle and air-con. Yes the bath room requires you to pop outside into an attached room, but we didn’t consider this to be a hardship. John & Christos no longer have the village cafe, however, on request they will make you a delicious evening meal dining on their patio. This is an experience not to miss with views to die for. • Serena (10/5): A piece of Heaven - John & Christos are fantastic people who happen to live in paradise. If you love nature, this is the place. Amazing landscapes, crystal clear water, secluded beaches, good food and an incredible garden. The house is brand new and originally decorated, and nothing beats the views from the room balcony. You will sleep perfectly. We wish we could come back every year.
