Realestate managers were responsive to our calls. We had some bad luck. we booked a room and the spa and pool were not working. Realestate moved us to a new room and then door wouldn't lock. Again they were straight on it. So not so much didn't like it but unfortunate luck. All corrected immediately
- Paula (4/5): Great View but that's it! - The location was amazing. Right across the street from Scarborough Beach and close to restaurants and cafes. First of all when we walked in I was amazed and how great the apartment was. Two storey, loads of room, well equipped.... but then you get smacked in the face with a wet smell. Upon further investigation we noticed mould on the blinds in every bedroom, the carpet in the master felt wet. I broke out in an allergic reaction within 10 minutes and had to vacate outdoors until my daughter went through the property and opened the big glass doors to air the property out. Excited to use the on-site pool, only to discover it was closed and hazardous to use according to the note on the front door to the pool area, which I was not informed of upon booking. Went to the real estate that handled the booking the following morning to let them know of mould problem and the air conditioner was not working. Never heard back in the 5 days I had booked. My concern about not just the smell of mould but somebody having an anaphylatic reaction to mould and having a serious medical problem on their hands. Beds were seriously uncomfortable, and hard as a rock and there were stored items obviously from the owners, stacked under stairs and in locked glass cabinets. Also having to check out at 9am I have nevee had to check out that early anywhere before, having to take the keys back to real estate down the street to the lock box was a little inconvenient.
