• Pernille (5/5): Could’ve been nice if there were no cockroaches and mosquitoes - The couple seemed nice and there was cold water in the fridge for us. We couldn’t hear them at all or the dog. There were cockroaches everywhere and lots is mosquitoes so we didn’t really get any sleep…

• Faye (10/5): JUST SO LOVELY AND HOMELY !!! Thank you guys!!! - Both of the hosts were just amazing and so lovely. They offered advice/ suggestions about things to do on magnetic island. They even contacted a car rental place to help us get a rented car for the day. They provided us with water in the fridge and a booklet with tourist attractions to do. They was just really attentive and made us feel very welcome. Couldn’t fault the room or shower or location, brilliant and only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to hop on the bus around the island :) would deffo stay again! Thank you guys! :)

• Louise (9/5): Superb - Maz & Sylvie were very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. Pretty convenient location - close enough to walk to Nelly Bay but also have the option to catch the bus. A great mix of privacy and community. We also loved Yuzu (the greyhound)! The visiting spider! Hahaha

• Samantha (10/5): Highly recommended - Everything. I received a very warm welcome from Maz when I arrived. My area within the home was downstairs and comprised a lovely bedroom with en suite and a living dining area with TV and netflix. All beautifully clean . Good hot shower with great pressure. The accommodation is in a really quiet residential street that backs onto national park land. It's a 10 min walk to the nearest bus stop which will take you everywhere on the island. Maz explained I was also welcome to use the family kitchen Everything was fab. I loved the place and wished I'd found it sooner.
• Maria (4/5): A rip off experience - Good internet I don’t recommend this property. It is so over priced for what you get. The accommodation is a dingy room, under the house. The bathroom is old and ugly. The room faces an unkept garden. You have to ask for cups or plates. There is a little lounge area that smells musty. There is no sense of natural forest. The house is at the far end of the island so if you miss the bus you walk about 20 minutes to the shops. I felt ripped off and couldn’t wait to leave.

• Patrick (8/5): Amazing hosts! - Silvi, Maz and Yuzu (apologies for spelling mistakes!) - wonderful and warm hosts who made us feel very welcome from the get go and also went above and beyond to ensure we had further options after our stay due to potential extreme weather. The property and room itself was very cosy with excellent air conditioning, just what you need after lots of hiking. The one and only thing I would mention is the room was quite dusty.

• Andrea (8/5): A nice stay on Maggie to explore the island - The host was very communicative and helpful. The room was already ready very early on the day. You have your own area to live and good privacy. The bus connection on the island helps to reach all places easily. The house is a little bit outside of the center. I would recommend to take a taxi when getting their first time with your luggage.

• Karina (10/5): Nicest hosts and a lovely flat for a trip to magnetic island. - The property was very private with a nice pool and chill area. The little flat we had was perfect for our stay, with a living room, bedroom and bathroom. We shared the kitchen with the hosts, which resulted in interesting chats with them and we got some inside tipps of where to go and what to see. Overall, i would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

• Samuel (9/5): Superb - Great hosts, they welcomed me warmly and gave me many tips on hikes and good food places on the island. The room was nice and clean. I had my own bathroom and could use the TV in the living room as well as the kitchen. situated in Nelly Bay, which is good, but not very central, however just a 5 min walk to the bus stop

• Kristina (10/5): Lovely place to stay! - Silvie & Michael are the most lovely hosts I ever met! From the first moment I felt welcomed. They had great tips for me, (ask for their Rock Wallabies special spot), were chatty but I also had my privacy in the apartment - which was not only perfectly clean but also really nicely furnished & with a brand new aircon. The location is also great, right between Picknick Bay & Nelly Bay with a bus stop nearby. I would always recommend to book with them when you are on Magnetic Island.
