Guest Reviews
- Steven (10/5): Excellent. Would highly recommend. - Nice quiet location & close to Bempton Cliffs for bird watching. Nothing
- Janet (9/5): Enjoyed our stay, the location is great. - Great location. Very peaceful. Comfortable, perfect for a few days. The quilt was too small for the size of bed.
- Stephen (9/5): Comfortable and peaceful stay - Very well appointed and well equipped. Quiet location. Handy for buses along the coast Small shower. Would not suit a large person. A minor point, the description was incomplete- the management company run holiday lets in several locations so we got a broad description of the kitchen equipment e.g. no microwave mentioned although it was provided. Had we known we would have changed the supplies we took

- Carolyn (10/5): Would have liked to stay longer - Had everything we needed and to a good standard. It’s about 20 minutes walk on the footpath to the Ship Inn and Old Forge restaurant which served good food. (Torch necessary if dark) Nothing
- Carla (9/5): Our second stay here. Would book again. - In a very peaceful lovely location. Its warm and comfortable. Very clean. I'd left a bottle of perfume last year and the owner was good enough to keep it for me and drop it to me this year. Was very much appreciated David. Thank you
😁

- Sue (9/5): Excellent and restful x - The property was clean well equipped, comfortable and cosy absolutely ticked all our boxes
- michael (10/5): - Beautiful courtyard with individual external table/chairs and even bbqs if needed.
Inside well laid out and nothing missing. Full TV setup. No complaints - well, perhaps WiFi 'iffy' but hey, it's a holiday!!! Nothing !!!
- Jerams (10/5): Great property, great location with beautiful views and a very friendly owner. - It was situated in amongst a gorgeous courtyard with your very own space infront of the property where we ate our breakfast. We liked everything about this property as so many lovely factors about it.
- Mandy (10/5): -
- Simon (10/5): -
- Rachele (9/5): - Lovely, well apportioned cottage, very clean, super quiet surroundings and safe parking for our motorbike. Would definitely stay here again.
- Troscinska (10/5): - Amazing plays to stay
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional - Very cute cottage set in old barn buildings and a lovely courtyard
- Alison (7/5): - Nice and clean, comfy and cosy, just what we needed We didn’t appreciate someone banging on the door saying how long you gonna be to get out at 10.03, when we were literally putting our shoes on. We thought it was rude and not necessary.
- Raymond (10/5): For me perfect location would recommend - It was very clean, there was everything needed for a stay, the cottage was comfortable and well laid out, very quiet also Nothing no negatives
- Jayne (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy clean house with ample parking and lovely outside space. We chose this over a b&b for our stay and were glad we did. Very comfortable space, well finished and quiet. Close enough to the coastal attractions of the area but none of the bustle. A relaxing stay.
- Hilary (9/5): Lovely cottages in a tranquil setting ,on one level. Would certainly come back. - Liked the location and our small private garden area with table and seats- perfect spot for an evening drink before dinner. The courtyard garden was beautifully cared for.A peaceful retreat .
A short drive to the coast or a lovely short walk to Sewerby and the landtrain into Bridlington.Disappointed by the adjacent farm shop /cafe so stock up elsewhere before you visit. The small dining table behind the sofa was tricky to negotiate and the shaggy rug it sat on made moving chairs difficult.Small niggles but something to be aware of if you have mobility issues.
- Kay (8/5): Very good -
- Kathryn (9/5): Very cute place, nice location, difficulties with both wifi and shower working properly - Very cute location, easy drive to the coast The wifi would only connect in the living room area and wouldnt work at all in the bedroom, and the shower Wsneither scalding hot or freezing cold no matter what setting, so showering was impossible.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicky (8/5): Cute little place - A great little cottage, comfortable and clean, and in a lovely location. The shower wasnt great. It was impossible to get the temperature right as it was either scaldingly hot or freezing, there was no in between, so ultimately we couldn’t shower whilst there.
- Israel (10/5): Perfect -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (7/5): Good - Wifi terrible even the smart tv didn't connect and unfortunately these days that's about as key as cleanliness and the toilet working properly these days probably more Not much, main bed was very hollow in the middle needs a new mattress as was like a clam shell closed you in but was comfy and warm so not too much of a problem just not supportive
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Having stayed at these Cottages before we knew what to expect.
Clean, Cosy & perfect location for Sewerby, Bridlington & Flamborough.
Plenty of parking to rear of Property & well maintained Gardens. Nothing.
- Helen (10/5): Great accommodation and location - The cottage was a great place for a couple. The location was in walking distance of the sea and local attractions.
Quiet location and lovely garden setting.
Very friendly hosts, Wendy and Dave. Nothing
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carla (9/5): Lovely little place and in a quiet pretty plot. - lovely little place in beautiful surroundings, very clean. only met the cleaner the next day so can't really comment on the staff. However all the emails have been successfully updated and received when needed. Would definitely recommend 👌 although we did put the heating on for an hour it was very noisy but as not on through the night not really an issue. our clothes did feel a little damp though when coming to change. There was only 1 loo roll and didn't think so please remember to take extra.
- Stephen (10/5): excellent - very cozy good base everything we needed
very clean exceptional nothing
- Derek (10/5): Exceptional - Brilliant location clean tidy and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

- Yvette (10/5): Lovely cosy, break away. - Very well equipped, lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful setting. There wasn’t anything to dislike
- Lyn (8/5): Very good - The setting, very peaceful. Nothing
- Dawn (8/5): Very good -
- Malcolm (8/5): Great location, clean with everything you would need, I liked the courtyard layout. - Location was good for me, near the coast & Bempton RSPB. Walked from accommodation along to Bridlington. The property was clean and had every thing I needed. Also I liked the courtyard with the well kept flower planting. I had a good stay and despite my comments below I would still come again. You need to fix the switch box above the cooker, it looks terrible. The bed was ok but too soft for me. You have lots of bins and a sign which indicates recycling centre, but there was no indication as to what to put in each bin. The rooms had a faint perfumy smell, almost like the old "Shake and Vac" smell of old.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - It was very clean and comfortable
- Sam (10/5): Everything we needed and more, excellent - Very quaint with adequate facilities, quiet, peaceful, very aesthetic with the outdoor courtyard too! If I HAD to pick it was the two single beds which may have possibly been an oversight on my part so not even a complaint really!
- Juliet (10/5): A lovely little cottage in a quiet setting. I miss it already! - I was staying on my own and felt comfortable as soon as I arrived. The location was perfect, being close to Bempton & Flamborough. The staff were lovely and the cottage spotless. The courtyard garden at the front is so pretty and the back looks out on fields.
I loved that there was tea, coffee and biscuits waiting in the kitchen. If I could change one thing I’d love a more powerful shower but that’s being picky. I’d stay again without hesitation.
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional - location great host friendly nothing
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Lucy (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - Lovely little cottage in a quiet location and a gorgeous little courtyard. Great location for visiting Bempton and Flamborough Cliffs, only a 10 minute drive to either.
- Rachel (10/5): Excellent and will definitely return - The location of the accommodation was perfect, very peaceful and well kept. I have a spine issue and found the mattress a little painful due to feeling what felt like the springs.
- Philip (9/5): Superb - The cottage was very nice. Great location. Couldn't understand the TV. Perhaps an age thing. But more instructions might help. The thermostat. Asked to turn off ... how?
- Janice (9/5): Very enjoyable and I would recommend to others and stay again - Location, check in easy, staff on hand if needed, property clean and comfortable. Nothing
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting was their in Bridlington for a boxing match so was with my boxer but need to return with my wife to spend a lovely weekend in this beautiful homly cottage
- Alison (7/5): Good - Location and surroundings Very cold when we got there informed we would be there at 3pm no heating on at all
Needs a snuggle blanket had quilt on when watching TV very drafty under the door
- Angela (10/5): A lovely small cottage. - Liked everything thank you. Not applicable
- Martin (8/5): Nice stay - The area and position of the property Central heating pipes are very noisy, they seem to be rattling together,
- Sarah (9/5): Perfect little property for a stay in a beautiful location - Location great, nicely presented little cottage Nothing
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent facilities. Good location and private parking. Very clean and modern.
- Mrs (10/5): Cosy cottage for a few days away - Tea, coffee and biscuits in the cottage on arrival were a nice touch. The cottage was nicely presented and very clean. Liked the wet room style shower, much better than a pokey cubicle which holds damp. The twin beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Overall a very good stay. More of a slight inconvenience than a problem. The microwave door won't open due to the lip on the shelf. Needs lifting up if using it.
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was wonderful, exceptionally clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and friendly, so much so that I have booked again for later in the year. Nothing.
- Lee (10/5): Lovely. Would recommend - N/A as self catering. However everything provided to make our own meals. Really nice to find this accommodation that was ground floor and twin beds for me and my elderly mum who uses a walking frame. Not many places offer this type of accommodation, so thank you. Lovely weekend and comfortable. Mum was sad to leave. Nothing really. Only small issue with tapping pipes in bedroom and bathroom blind having to manually roll up.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
