• Lecra (9/5): Comfortable, modern place to base yourself for a few days, one subway stop to Shinjuku. - The bed was very comfortable, the best we slept in during 3 weeks in Japan, where beds tend to be hard. Apartment had everything we needed for two people, except there were no cooking utensils so we didn’t cook anything. We loved that the bathroom is a laundry drying room where the whole room heats up. We could hang our laundry up, close the door, set the drying time and come back to dry laundry. A short walk across the street is a great little Indian/Thai restaurant Asian Palm, great food, went there 3 times. The number on the apartment door did not coincide with the number given by the host. So, at first, we were trying to get in the wrong apartment and couldn’t understand why the lock code wouldn’t work. All was fine once we messaged the host. Our apartment was upstairs, be aware there’s no lift. Didn’t like that the cups, bowls, plates are all plastic.

• Bosco (9/5): Very value for money, good communication. - The owner is easily contactable even though we had a late check in. There is a laundromat 2 min walk from this property. The vacuum inside the room makes the front door need a good pull to open. As a first time user it made some confusion.

• Mila (10/5): excellent apartment and location - the apartment is located at hatsudai station, which is 1 station away from shinjuku, there is also a bus right outside the apartment that takes you directly to shinjuku a family mart and seven eleven are both 5 min away there is a greatt coffee shop (kohi kan/coffee kan) a must visit!! the apartment was very big and clean, there is a washing machine, a great shower, very big bathroom, and a kitchen (fridge etc), there is even a vacuum!! the beds, pillows, comforters were all super clean and comfortable! if i come again i will definitely go to this apartment! it is so modern and the location is great! and it really is big for an apartment in tokyo (~30m2), keep in mind alll apartments in tokyo are small, this one was perfect for 3 people!

Sonraki gün bir online form vs. doldurttu ve temizledik dediler ancak hiç bir temizlik yapılmadı. -Asansör olmadığından ve merdivenler çok dar olduğundan valizleri taşımak çok zor. -Banyo lavabosu banyo içi kıl, kir çok kötü bir deneyimdi.

• Grace (10/5): A place we're willing to go back to - The place was perfectly clean, new and comfortable with complete provisions. What's more is that it is easily accessible to a bus station and the location is close to your needs. Just a tip for opening entries, doors open towards you. And it is best to take the bus at first into the unit when you have luggage because if you walk, the Google maps will lead you to a flight of stairs from the road. We would be willing to come back here again, because we really love the place overall 🥰

• Ifeanyi Felix (10/5): I recommend them - It was quite Clean, equipped with some basics essential. There was a very loud noise coming some the bathroom whenever you used water, the property owner are working to fix it.

We loved the quiet area, only 10-20 mins from the action. - We enjoyed that this was near the city but just a stop away for a more quiet local and relaxed experience. There’s a bus stop in front of the building that takes you to Shinjuku. Another stop about 5 min walk that takes you across yoyogi park into Harajuku and Shibuya. However we used the subway the most - about 10 min walk to Hatsudai station for the Keio New Line (which changes to Shinjuku line after 1 stop at Shinjuku) - these lines get you to multiple great neighborhoods or major stations to transfer onwards. The place was clean. Loved having a fridge and small kitchenette. Separate toilet and sink/shower rooms were nice. Good space in the room for 2 people with 3 large suitcases. In suite Laundry was a great bonus for a mid trip refresh. And a small vacuum to keep things tidy for ourselves was nice for a 10 night stay. Nearby there’s a family mart and 7-11. Also a Japanese restaurant that was always open late and super friendly. Sushi spot near by. And best of all was a Japanese/thai/indian restaurant that had an awesome lunch buffet, and a la cart dinner. 24hr supermarket about 12 min walk. On the walk to hatsudai station there’s a no frills Japanese breakfast spot and a McDonald’s to grab a coffee or quick bite before heading out for the day. Would definitely stay here again. Host was responsive. The instructions were very detailed (almost TOO detailed :/ ) but it answered everything. Booking.com system to access the entry codes and check in instructions was annoying. The host sent a link but because of the chat they had to space out the link. No fault of the host. Once I got the codes it was smooth thereafter. No issues with locks etc. Only 1 concern with the unit - cleanliness could have been a little better. Unit was clean, as I scored it a 10/10, but devil in the details. Just something to keep in mind for the host as the place ages. Also please tidy the common hallways/stairs more often. Overall the place was great so it didn’t feel right to reduce their score.

The location is great- not too close to the city so pretty quiet area which is nice but everything is still easily accessible! There’s a washing machine (which is great) but it’s quite small and there’s nowhere to really dry clothes other than in the lounge room which was just one small rod- made it a bit difficult to do our washing but we managed!

• Clara Motoko Evelyne (8/5): I recommend this place 👍🏻 - The early check-in is very convenient, and all the instructions for entering the apartment automatically are clearly explained. The staff responds very quickly to messages on Booking and they are very kind and understanding — I definitely recommend them! The waste-sorting instructions are also very clear. The accommodation looks exactly like the photos, although it felt a bit small. I stayed for one month on my own and found it very practical. The fact that the bathroom, the “kitchen,” and the bedroom/living area are all separated is a big plus. For a one-month stay, I felt that a few more kitchen utensils would have been helpful, but for a shorter stay (especially if you don’t plan to cook much), it’s definitely more than enough.

Využili jsme pračku a prádlo lze sušit v kabině se sprchou, stačí navolit a zapnout ventilaci. Lokalita je v klidné části města, mimo hlavní turistická místa. Ale ve vedlejší ulici je dost malých restaurací a obchody s potravinami. Doporučujeme navštívit restauraci Yakitori Izakaya. Blízko na metro, stanice Hatsudai, 1 zastávka ze stanice Shinjuku.

Extra small towels for your body, should not have 3 people in there as the futon makes it really small and hard to move around the room. No knives to actually make food in the kitchen, and didn't really feel like you can make food in the kitchen

• JunTaka (7/5): Decent apartment, good location, cozy - The apartment was clean and great for a couple. Had basic amenities and a kitchenette, fridge and stove, which was great. The location is nice and commutable by bus from Shinjuku, and walkable by the new keio line station too. The bathroom had a strong odor of fungus. I asked for another room , but sadly they were full. I was disappointed that the staff replied in Japanese and asked me to get deodorizer and clean, which was surprising since I had no clue where the smell came from nor I'm gonna clean fungus.

• Jasmine (8/5): Convenient - We liked that it was close to Meiji Jingu and reasonably close to public transport for the price. Access was easy with the code. Being able to log into our Netflix account was also a bonus. The bowls, cups and plates are all plastic which are not nice to eat or drink from. As first time Japan visitors we needed more information about rubbish sorting but think we did ok. It also took us a while to get the hot water and washing machine working, but managed in the end.

• Stephanie (4/5): Great location, not so great accommodation for the price - Location was great, quiet at night and beds were soft and comfortable. Unit is new and has potential but so many small things wrong that unfortunately being new wasn’t enough to counter the issues. For the price we would have expected a lot more than the cheap finishings and poor cleaning job done. We had to get it re cleaned due to the quantity of hair still on floor and all over bedding, toilet was disgusting. It took a number of emails to organise. To help others who book some finer details not included in description: only plastic plates bowls, cups and bowls are provided, very minimal cooking and utensils (one small fry pan and saucepan, one sharp knife and no bread and butter knives) and no cooking basics such as oil, salt, pepper. There is a washing machine but nowhere to then hang the clothes, any heavier items such as jeans or jumpers took 2 days to dry. There is also no rails in bathroom to hang towels so we had to use the back of the kitchen chairs. The rubbish sorting is ridiculously complex and they don’t actually provide enough bins for all the types of rubbish so you end up with bags of rubbish all over the kitchen which is very tiny. Then they say if you don’t sort correctly they will charge you 3300 yen to re-sort. It was not a comfortable stay for a family of 5. Also note that one of the beds is actually a double not a queen and fits only one teenager/adult and same with fold out couch and dining table only has 4 chairs and very cramped even with 4 people let alone 5. The TV is a very cheap brand and so none of the streaming apps properly worked, and any HD you tube videos wouldn’t work.
• Cathy (2/5): Will not consider staying here again. - Nothing much. 1. Location is too quiet and long walk to station. 2. Place was dirty and dusty. The comforter was so disgusting, got stains and hair and yellowish. Bed is uncomfortable. 3. Customer service is bad. Said can only arrange to change the comforter on a day, but didn’t even bother to change. 4. Everyday got ambulance and police around in the middle of the night. Very noisy.
