• Nathalie (6/5): Pleasant - The location of the apartment was great for all touristic activities- very central. No parking but there is a public parking -Socorro- close to the place. Book in advance. It is only 4 minutes away. Bed and sofa were comfortable. It has kitchen, fridge and washing machine. Bathroom is compact but does the job. Host responded promptly to text messages (not calls) I took the apartment based on its location and because it did say air conditioning however there were no air conditioning and no fan .. it was stuffy. The apartment is above small restaurants and contrary to some previous feedback, the place is noisy up until midnight/ 1am. It would be nice if instructions were sent in both Spanish and English as not many foreigners can read Spanish.
• Ales (9/5): Superb - The apartment is located in a pedestrian zone. There are many shops and restaurants right outside the apartment. The apartment is large and clean. The kitchen is poorly equipped, but we only stayed one night so it didn't bother us. /
• Gerald (9/5): Very good - Excellent location. Nice, clean place. It would be nice to have a single pod of coffee as welcome. There’s a coffee machine which didn’t work after we had spent time looking for grocery store to buy some coffee. There’s a coffee shop right beside the apartment though.

• Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Three of us stayed here. We really enjoyed this apartment. Lots of space, amazing location, and nicely decorated to make you feel at home. We only had one night, but wished we had more. It was very chilly when we were there, but there were enough heaters left for our use to make it a comfortable stay!

• Darina (10/5): Exceptional - I really liked this apartment! It is on the main shopping street. Right in front of the door are three nice restaurants! Nice view from the apartment on the street. Bed room is located on the other side of the apartment, so is absolutely quiet! The bed was very comfortable. It also had a heater. I booked the place last minute at 9 a.m. and still everything was smoothly. I could even check in one hour earlier! :) I find it always upsetting if the place provides washing machine but not even a little bit of washing powder. Or providing dolce gusto coffe machine but no coffe pods.
• Carla (6/5): Not if you need rest - The apartment was quite well renovated, very clean and well equipped. The owner was easy to contact and was very nice. The bed was an absolute disaster. We spent half of the night rolling down to the center of the bed and the other half climbing up again towards the border. The pillows are a sort of big salami, you sleep with the neck completely bent. Being on the main street means there is alot of noise, even very late in the night. Code given by booking was wrong and we had to call the owner to be able to get in..

• Graham (1/5): Avoid it like the plague - Good location. Fairly quiet Laundey in entrance. Worn out furniture, etc. Glass top on living room table badly repaired and dangerous. Taps and fittings in kitchen and bathroom shabby, poorly fitting windows. Host unpleasant, unprofessional, unprepared. Arriving in Ronda, i had received no instructions to get into the property, which is unusual. When I contacted her, she wrote that I could get the key from the keysafe using my booking.com PIN. This didn't work on any of the three boxes. She asked me my booking.com PIN (!), said this was the wrong number and provided me with a different PIN. This number worked on one keysafe, and with relief I took the keys. They didn't fit apartment B1, as instructed but C1 instead. Via the Booking app, I communicated to her how stressful the check-in procedure had been. To this, I received a sarcastic reply. Via WhatsApp, I repeated that I was in apartment C1, and I then received a flood of aggressive messages (e.g. SU APARTMENTO ES B1, ... her use of capitals) that I should change apartment CÁMBIASE DE APARTMENTO (her capitals). However, my keys did not fit B1! During the exchange, she turned things on their head, and accused me of being impolite, violent (!) and lacking empathy (!) Furthermore she said she was going to contact the police and booking.com. At this point, I called the police myself and explained the situation. They said that they couldn't do anything at this point but that if I experience any further threatening behaviour that I should call them again. Minutes later the doorbell rang. Three men were in the stairwell, making threatening demands, for my passport, etc. One of them had a strong smell of alcohol on his breath. Behind them was a woman, presumably the host. So I then called the police once more, and when they realised that I was talking to the police, they hastily left. A few minutes later, the police arrived, and I related the account, above. They told me the police station where I could file a complaint ...
• Angela (7/5): Clean and Good location - Clean, modern apartment with great shower and good location in the middle of the town and a 10 min walk to the new bridge. Communication with owners was quick and easy. The bed was not particularly comfortable, no aircon, (although there was a fan) and no window to the outside in the bedroom or bathroom.
