• Sidney G. (8/5): Verschnaufpause auf der Rundreise - Die Unterkunft liegt außerhalb des Ortes und ist daher sehr ruhig (abgesehen von den Tieren). Für uns war auch die Nähe zum Nationalpark entscheidend, sodass man nach dem Frühstück zügig vor Ort ist. Das Zimmer war großzügig und mit allen Notwendigen ausgestattet. Der Poolbereich lädt zum Entspannen ein. Die vorhandene Küche im Bereich der Unterkünfte durfte nicht zur Zubereitung von Speisen genutzt werden. Das Vorhandensein der Küche wurde auch nicht in der Beschreibung erwähnt, sodass dies kein wirklicher Kritikpunkt ist.

Simpel, maar prima ontbijt. Gebruik koelkast en magnetron toegestaan. Kevin was erg aardig. Inchecken beperkte tijden mogelijk: Tot 17.00 uur. Na 17.00 uur $15 dollar extra. Maar 1 bord aanwezig in de keuken.

• Birgit (10/5): Gerne wieder! - Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und spricht deutsch. Die Anlage ist noch sehr neu und ansprechend gestaltet. Geplant sind die Eröffnung eines Restaurants daneben und der Bau zusätzlicher Bungalows. Der Pool ist erfrischend nach einem heißen Tag. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt richtig gut. Die Lage ist super, ein kurzer Weg zum NP. Mehr Schatten am Pool wäre schön.

• Lisa (9/5): - Der Pool und Lounge Bereich hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Lage war top für einen Besuch des Rincon del a Vieja und für einen Ausflug zum Pazifik. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. An der Unterkunft gibt fast es nix, was uns nicht gefallen hat. Nur die Betten waren sehr weich. Jedoch gibt es in der näheren Umgebung nur eine geringe Auswahl an Restaurants. Dafür gibt es aber eine Küche in der Unterkunft für die Selbstverpflegung.

• Trudy (9/5): Lovely stay in Currubande - Relatively close to what we wanted to do. Bed was comfortable, pillows not bad, bathroom spacious. AC works great and is quiet. Pool was a nice size. Access to a fridge and cooking facilities is a plus although we only used the fridge. Breakfast provided was made fresh but only the usual gallo pinto eggs and white toast with a small portion of fruit. Not much. A change of towels and garbage emptying daily would of been appreciated as we were there 3 nights. Pool could be skimmed. Also some more seating around the pool with shade.

• Ana Maria (9/5): - The guest house is comfortable and the staff is truly wonderful. Alejandro and his wife Adriana are kind, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the stay. Just keep in mind that this is a guest house, not a full-service hotel, so they don’t provide amenities like body soap, shampoo, conditioner, or lotion—plan accordingly. Breakfast was simple but very tasty. One thing to note: there is a $15 fee for check-ins after 5 PM, so if you’re arriving late, you may want to consider other options. We also booked the La Leona tour through them—the price was reasonable, and our guide Kevin was excellent. He definitely deserves 5 stars! Overall, I’d give the place 4 stars.

Une piscine est situé à cet endroit permettant de se détendre après une journée de visite. Il y a une petite cuisine disponible. Toutefois, le service de vaisselle n'est pas complet (par exemple, il n'y a pas d'assiettes de disponible). Je crois que cette cuisine est peu utilisée.

The communal kitchen was great to store our extra food and to prep our lunches. Breakfast was delicious! You need a car because there is not much to see in the immediate area. The dogs’ barking at night was annoying.

• Anthony (9/5): Overall we were pleasantly surprised with this off the beaten path property. - A small comfy and laid back Tico family run property. It’s off the beaten path, with no easy access to nearby restaurants. They serve breakfast and there is a communal kitchen area with fridge and microwave. Nice small splash pool to cool off. Property also vacks onto a river. Its good long drive along dark and sparsely populated country roads to get in to Liberia for dinner. It would not be much fun if your car broke down along those roads at night.

• Miranda (6/5): - Het zwembad. De gedeelde keuken. Er is een koelkast die gedeeld moet worden met 5 andere appartementen. Er was zo goed als geen keuken inventaris en 1 kookpit. Omdat er geen restaurants in de buurt zijn van de accommodatie zou het fijn zijn als dit op orde zou zijn.
• Maia (9/5): Attentive staff and clean, modern rooms that are well-equipped. - The room was very clean, well equipped and spacious. Very comfortable beds. The property was very nicely landscaped, with a few comfortable outdoor seating areas and an outdoor eating area. Our host gave us a tip about a beautiful short hike to a river behind the property! It was quite far outside of Liberia which meant we were partially driving in the dark. There are very few restaurants or grocery stores near the property.

Only thing negative is to plan around the check in, they did accommodate us which was a plus but you have to check your arrival time

Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Très bien situer lorsqu’on atterrit à Libéria (+/-40 min) Excellent emplacement pour faire La Leona et Ricon de la Vieja. La cuisine commune est pratique mais pourrait avoir un peu plus d’équipements. Manque un petit peu de rangement dans la chambre.

• M Teresa (5/5): - La ubicacion para hacer la excursión de la catarata La Leona es el ideal. La responsable nos dejó amablemente dejar las cosas en nuestra habitación hasta venir de la excursión.. No tiene vistas y la cocina es compartida, algo que no se indica en la reserva. Uno de los colchones de la cama supletoria se hunde y mi hija durmió incómoda.

Nous avons apprécié accueil et le lieu est calme avec une belle végétation autour Bon petit déjeuné Le vrai bémol de l’établissement. La cuisine n’est absolument pas équipée, très limité deux assiettes pour plusieurs chambres, un frigo, deux poêles et quelques paires de couverts Il manquerait vraiment au moins un four a micro ondes. Donc idéal si vous prévoyez de manger dehors.

• pamato (9/5): Perfecta estancia cerca de Liberia - Instalaciones nuevas y muy limpias. La habitacion y cama muy comodas. El personal súper amable y agradable.
• Karel (9/5): Zeer goed - Onze kamer was nieuw en heel proper met een groot bed maar met weinig plaats om je bagage te zetten. De gemeenschappelijke keuken is slecht uitgerust, bijna geen borden, glazen, tassen enz. De eigenaar is moeilijk bereikbaar, alles wordt geregeld met het zeer bereidwillige personeel.
