• Hasnul Hadi (1/5): Perfect Stayz Kaithu – A Misleading Stay That Should Be Avoided - Nothing. Decided not to stay. Paid and they declined to refund. "As a professional food, destination, and hotel reviewer whose shared insights have reached nearly 2.4million viewers worldwide (via Google Maps), I believe in capturing every travel experience with sincerity, attention to detail, and a touch of heart. Whether it’s a hidden local gem or a luxurious retreat, each review I share is meant to help fellow travelers make meaningful, informed choices." I made a booking at Perfect Stayz Kaithu with an advance payment of approximately INR 7,400. Unfortunately, the moment I arrived, it became very clear that this was a serious mistake. Firstly, the location is extremely remote and not as convenient as portrayed. Access is difficult, and once you arrive, you are essentially isolated without proper amenities nearby. More concerning, however, is the condition of the property itself. The room provided was in an unacceptable state: The bed was visibly dirty, raising serious hygiene concerns The chairs had clear fungus stains, suggesting they had not been cleaned for a long time The bathroom cabinet was covered in black fungus, indicating poor maintenance and lack of basic sanitation These are not minor issues—they are fundamental hygiene failures that no guest should have to tolerate. I immediately contacted the hotel management and requested a refund, as the room was clearly not in a livable condition. I was told that the matter would be looked into, but no action was taken. The request was ultimately not entertained, leaving me with no choice but to abandon the stay and book another hotel at my own additional cost. What makes this experience particularly concerning is that, after reading other reviews, I realized that similar issues have been repeatedly reported by other guests. Unfortunately, I experienced the same situation firsthand. This reflects not just a one-off lapse, but a pattern of misleading representation and poor accountability.

• Michelle (9/5): A beautiful large apartment not far from Shimla centre - We liked that the apartment was very large, clean and well furnished. The staff were not very helpful in helping me find a laundry nearby. There was a large monkey on the stairs outside our room, and I was frightened he would bite me, my husband or one of our 3 young children- It was wonderful to see him through the window though

• Shilpi (1/5): Bad decision for booking this property - The only thing I liked that I booked for ONE night only. Dear Booking.com team, I checked out today as per the booking however would like to share my feedback with you so that you can correct/ amend this property's details on your website to give correct information to the client. 1. your website says the room has Air Conditioning but it was not there and it was too hot during the day/noon. 2. the accessibility to the property should be clearly mentioned in your post. the way to the property from the highway is rubbish and tooooooo steep to drive. this should always be mentioned on your website so that client can take a appropriate judgement. i could feel my heart in my mouth while driving to this property. 3. cleanliness was a big issue in the room I booked. so overall my experience was pathetic and I do not believe that Booking.com is hosting such property with fake and misleading information on its website without checking. NO GOOD, Booking.com Team. highly disappointed

• Anthony (9/5): Lovely relaxing stay wth excellent views from your windows. - Great location for me as I like walking. Very friendly staff and very good facilities and food.
• Bhojwani (5/5): Opt only if you want to relax while watching good view from your room. - View from room's balcony is pretty good. However, the hotel is on the down side of the mall road which makes it tough to go towards market or other places. As you can't go by walking every time as the road is steep. You will have hire a taxi every time or there are facilities from himachal govt of the sharing taxis but it is tough to get them on time. Post 7 or 8 pm it will look like that nobody lives in that area although the area is residential there are no street lights on the road so you can't go for walk or casual wandering in the late evening. The stay is good for them who is here for peace and relax, if you want to go out every single day of your stay then I don't recommend it. Although the staff is very helpful.

Hassle via WhatsApp and on the booking.com chat from PerfectStayz central admin department, demanding a deposit three times after booking. The reservation clearly stated a deposit was not required, and they still hassled me after I got Booking.com customer services involved. They also asked me 4 times for an arrival time, when Id given it up front. The on site staff were fine. Hotel a little out of the way- steep walk to town centre

• Karin (1/5): Grauenvoll- Preis-Leistung inakzeptabel! - Nothing! We booked 4 nights in Perfect Stayz because it looked so nice in Internet. But it is totally different! The bed cover and linen was very dirty and wrong side- all the threads were hanging out…) -we called a „ roomservice“ and the young man told us the bedcover is wrong side but doesn‘t matter , it is ok! But it was so dirty that we wanted a new bedcover. He brought two another ones- one was dirtier than the next and more broken than the other ones. At least he brought us a totally new one. We think they use the covers more times and for a new guest they simply turn it around. The linen was full of stains and flecks too and the two holsteries of the chairs were full of dirty spots so we disgusted to sit on it. We were two people but we got only 1 towel, we extra had to ask for a second one. At least at 8 o‘ clock the man from kitchen knocked at our door, what we want for breakfast- it is only breakfast in room possible, there is no room for breakfast. We said toast , butter & jam and eggs. He brought us a ready made toast - already with butter on it. Sorry, I am not 5 years old and can make my own bread as I like! We decides to move after 2 nights but we didn‘t get a refund for the next 2 nights - we had to pay at once at arrival. Beside the cook- he apologized- all staff members and especially the manager, who should be responsible were just standing around. The only things what they can is sending 3-4 most similar emails a day!!!!!!!! email- room is already sanitized!!🫣- many times every day!!!! It is a really hounding and annoyance!!!! Now we found a guesthouse/hotel in same city better place( nearer to the Mall) for same money and a really perfect service( white , clean bed clothes, clean chairs, good breakfast ……) In summary we only can advise against booking there - for that price- no performance at all! Probably all the reviews on booking com are commissioned by friends.
