• Alice (9/5): - The location was wonderful! Plenty of places to walk straight from the house:) The spaces were gorgeous, homely and cosy! The toilet got a bit smelly with drains at points, but nothing an air freshener didn't sort out! Also, tiny thing but there weren't any extra bin bags and no soap in the top bathroom, but the host is near and provided us with the bags:)

• Vicki (8/5): - Welcoming, cosy, warm , large rooms, comfortable The building and front garden on approach were very pretty. We were very warm the whole stay which was very much appreciated with the cold weather. The dining room was big and made a nice sociable space , loved the chairs in front of the fire. The bathroom could do with modernisation as the shower didn't feel luxury and the pressure was weak. The bathroom felt a little dated although the underfloor heating was nice. The kitchen could have been better equipped although it was functional

• John (10/5): Wonderful stay at Boothorpe farmhouse. - The property was wonderful. All we could have wished for. The art on the walls is beautiful, painted by the owner. The bedrooms are good size the kitchen modern and well fitted out. The garden and landscaping is perfect. We had two lovely walks around the area. We were only there for two nights and would have liked to have walked to the pub, however, we were so cozy in the accommodation we stayed in. This is not a bad thing though.

• Moseley (8/5): Rustic & peaceful in an ideal location. - A rustic farmhouse, full of character and in an extremely peaceful setting. Close to some lovely villages, and easy to find off the motorway. Plenty of garden space at the front of the property, with easy parking on the quiet no-through lane. For those with mobility issues there is a downstairs bedroom and separate WC. Very comfortable lounge & bedrooms. Not a complaint - just an observation.....the shower water takes ages to drain away, so you'll need to watch the shower tray doesn't overflow.

Pub in the village lovely food. Not a criticism, just my personal taste .. Too many nick naks, ornaments, dried flowers. It's a beautiful house inside it doesn't need it.

There is a public path just outside the house, so it’s good for walkers. The area was very peaceful and beds were soooo comfortable. On one of the mornings we were there, it rained. It was lovely being able to sit in the house with the fire on, whilst its was raining outside. It gave us the perfect excuse to just sit in and enjoy the house. We didn’t mind the rain one bit! Nothing

Small freezer section within the fridge. Didn’t cause us any problems as only there for a couple of nights. Only 4 outdoor garden chairs.

The hosts had clearly gone to a lot of trouble to make the stay enjoyable including milk in the fridge. Beautiful decor and spacious rooms. All home comforts. I have stayed in numerous holiday homes and this is the best I have ever seen. We only had an overnight stay. Wish I could of stayed longer.

It would have been nice to have the heating on when we arrived as it took a while to work out radiators and then get warmed up. We had to empty and clean out one of the fireplaces before we could use it.

Loved the property but perhaps just a thought-The kitchen could do with a big pan/saucepan- struggled to cook pasta for 5 in the one saucepan. - Also maybe some egg cups.

• Diane (10/5): Luxury farmhouse - a perfect retreat. - The farmhouse was a delight! Spacious yet it felt cosy, tastefully decorated and furnished, warm, spotlessly clean and just so pretty. The location was peaceful and the enclosed back garden was great for our dog. The master bedroom was amazing. We didn't get to see the local area much as the weather was terrible but none of us really wanted to move from the farmhouse. A prefect retreat for a New Year getaway. Nothing - everything was great.

Ovenware dishes for home-made items and a sieve/strainer for boiled rice would have been useful. The pavers around the front door were very slippery. The lovely winter-weight duvets were too heavy for October.

• Steve (9/5): Overall a very enjoyable stay. Parking access restricted, but alternative parking available.. - Beds were very comfortable. Room sizes were very large. Nicely decorated and good quality furnishings. Quiet location. No light pollution at night. Owners were friendly. Lovely farmhouse property. Enclosed rear garden for dogs. Very clean. Duvets were too thick for time of year and I often has to sleep outside of duvet to cool down. It was not easy to manouvre car in or out of driveway, especially at night. Would benefit from a floodlight and for owners to widen entrance to parking space because currently there is insufficient space to swing into drive without having to do several manouvres. Street parking was available as an alternative.

• Charlotte (10/5): Gorgeous cottage for weekend away - A gorgeous cottage which met all of our expectations. The beds were extremely comfy, and the house has everything you need for the weekend. A great space for a get together for friends, and we enjoyed walks from the house and nearby parkrun at Conkers. Incredible value for money too.

Would definitely recommend staying here. Nothing - it was perfect.
