Guest Reviews
- Petra (8/5): Friendly hosts, very clean and comfortable room at good location. - Sandy gave us a great welcome, our room was very clean with view and good shower room. Good location, for Rosslare and touring Waterford /Wexford area. Easy to find and park off the main road. Hot breakfast on offer and selection of cereals and toast to help yourself to. Sandy recommended The Whitford House Hotel for dinner, it's a lively bistro with great service and food was excellent, definitely recommend it when staying at the lodge. This is on the very busy N25 road and caution needed when entering and exiting the B&B. Some traffic noise if you prefer a window open at night.
- Audrey (8/5): - Très bien reçu par les propriétaires. Jolie chambre. Bon petit déjeuner. Route assez passante dès 7h.
- Mike (9/5): Short stay, but comfortable. - Breakfast was excellent. The location is good, but was rather difficult to find. Suggest you put a better description how to find the property for anyone who doesn't know the area
- Stoian (10/5): O senzatie de vacanta - Am fost placut surprins de ce am gasit aici. Camera si baia foarte curate si calduroase. Micul dejun foarte bun, iar personalul foarte amabil. Recomand cu incredere, in mod sigur o sa revin.

- Stephane (8/5): Very good - I’m a returning customer. Im on the road often and this place is excellently located between new ross and wexford. Host is very kind, the place is spotless and breakfast is very good. Bathroom is private. I really liked the place overall and I’m sure i’ll be back again. First time i went was in winter and i didn’t notice but this time around, in august, the room was really hot. I turned off the heater and opened both windows. Nothing bad but it was really hot
- Paula (10/5): Sandy and her husband were super hosts. I will definitely be back. - perfect nothing

- Stephane (9/5): A very nice place for a short stop. - Cleanliness, the host was very kind and welcoming, nice warm and private room. Would 100% come back. It’s situated on the main road so traffic can be heard at all times of night and day. Nothing can be done about it, just get ear plugs.
- Yo-en (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathleen (10/5): Comfortable, friendly host. Catered for all our needs. - Very homely.
- Amitha (9/5): Superb -
- Andrea (10/5): Welcome and warm stop off from our ferry crossing before continuing our journey the next day. - Sandy took care to give us an excellent vegetarian breakfast. She was a friendly host who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. N?A
- Michael (10/5): Wonderful, friendly hosts who went out of the way to make my stay comfortable. - Lovely and clean house in the country. Close to Waterford and Wexford and all the local attractions.
- Yvonne (5/5): Carriagadaggen Airbn - Clean, room facilties good. Pleasant land lady. Parking facilties. Didn't take breakfast but great selection, coffee was good. Access to keep food in fridge. Book in 2 til 6 but no one there for over 25mins when i arrived. TV was complicated as not a linked system.
I will say compared to others on course i was on more exoensive than hotel some just half a km away
- Don (8/5): We would stay there again if we were sure to get a back bedroom. - Very accommodating host, couldn't do enough for you. Well decorated and very clean, Sits about 20m off a very busy main road, front bedrooms face the road and where very noisy ,
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about the place was lovely, such a warm welcoming atmosphere as for the hosts you would travel very far to meet such a more frendly, happy entertaining couple Nothing negative about this house
- Russ (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anita (9/5): Warm, welcoming and comfortable stay in a great location with an amazing breakfast! - Sandra and James were so welcoming and thoughtful, everything was just perfect. The breakfast was one of the best we've had and they were so attentive and helpful with everything. We had a wonderful stay in a very comfortable and clean room with everything you need.Great location and exceptional price.Lovely hosts and fantastic breakfast.Would definitely recommend to others and stay again.

- Hugh (8/5): Very good - Clean and homely
- Peggy (10/5): Enjoyed our stay and we had great chat with Sandy - Met with Sandy, lovely host. Breakfast was perfect.
Will call again.
- Giedre (7/5): Good - Simple, clean, reasonably priced accomodation, nice and polite host.bed was comfortable and i had a good night's sleep. Bathroom is one step up, you have to really watch coming out of it, i nearly fell..bathroom toiletries were only 'for men'..so women need to bring their own!
I thought the breakfast was poor and not very fresh ,bread and cheese tasted stale..
- Billy (5/5): Owners were nice but felt a full cooked breakfast offer should be part of any b and b stay in 20 be - Owners were nice and location was good. No TV in the room.room quite small.no cooked breakfast.only offered scrambled eggs.poor effort we felt.
- Mary (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay at Carrigadaggen Lodge. Hosts Sandy & James were most welcoming & pleasan - We had a lovely contentinal breakfast with lots of choice of food. there was plenty of cereals, fruit, breads, pasteries, tea & coffee, soft drinks, juices, meats, cheese, crackers to choose from. It was delicious We have nothing to complain about.
- Chambers (8/5): Very welcoming B & B - Sandra, the host was so welcoming & friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay fabulous. The rooms were a great size with full size toiletries etc and tea/coffee facilities ... everything was exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfortable, I had the best night's sleep. Sandra was so amazing with one of our group who has additional needs and even gave him crisps, chocolate and drinks on our arrival. The continental breakfast was the best I have ever seen anywhere, snd plenty of it ... exceptional choice and we were offered boiled or scrambled eggs but was a little disappointed that a "Full Irish" wasn't on offer as it's part of the B& B experience.
Also the ad on Booking.com said that there were 3 beds in each room but it turned out that there were 3 rooms each with a double bed in it. There were no twin beds available so my friend ended up sharing a double bed with her son. We pointed this out to our host and this information has been changed on the listing. We were also offered a part refund because of this misunderstanding ... but we wouldn't accept it as our host was amazing and the quality/quantity of breakfast exceptional and we had a lovely stay.
- Ruth (10/5): Lovely place with exceptional standards - Comfortable and welcoming home :) Everything was great :)
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - This is a fantastic B&B. Stayed here with my teenage daughter for a fleadh competition. Made feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Definitely a home from home feel. Large selection for breakfast. Short drive to Wexford town. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Lovely genuine couple running it. Nothing
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - The room was fresh and cosy, Sandi was a lovely host Not much to say, it was pretty good value for money
- John (8/5): JW Review - The host was nice, friendly and helpful. The facilities were adequate. The location was suitable for access to the main town The noise of the passing traffic could be heard indoors
- Rachael (10/5): Exceptional - What a great find - this property was centrally located for our visit (to New Ross and Wexford) and our hosts Sandra and James were just fabulous. Lots of parking provided and the rooms were well decorated, comfortable, spacious and quiet, even with the N25 road nearby. And such a bonus to have hosts so knowledgable about the local area and all the attractions, including the Horse and Hound pub restaurant just around the corner for a few nice meals. A lovely stay all round and excellent value for money. Many Thanks!

- Kathryn (9/5): Superb - Beautiful surroundings and great hosts. Had a great conversation with James in the sunroom.
- Hilda (10/5): It was a fabulous experience…stay here. - The property itself was beautiful; conveniently located between Waterford & Wexford which made it quite easy to get around to see the sights. The room was wonderful; bed was very comfortable and slept great; the continental breakfast was just right; all I can say is, this home and these proprietors will not disappoint. There is nothing even remotely that I could say I didn’t like.
- Elaine (8/5): Beautiful property, friendly staff and great location. - The bed was super comfortable
- Luzia (9/5): Superb - Very friendly hosts (with dogs and cat). Nice room with enough space. Bathroom has all you need (shampoo etc.).
- Deirdre (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely homely B&B, comfortable with everything we needed, lot's of breakfast options and the host's Sandra and James were so helpful
- Bruce (10/5): Lovely couple and very decorative country setting. - As a new listing finding the property was very difficult to find as the full address info was not provided by Booking.com. Had we been provided the full address, we would not have had such a difficult time locating the BB. The owners are still in the process of getting a sign up at the driveway, so on our visit it was not yet in place. A lovely couple though and very friendly and accommodating in every way. In a week or two they should be up and running 100%, we just booked a couple days after there first listing day and surprised them before the last couple pieces of signage were in place.
- Doug (8/5): Very good -
