The location was ideal for a relaxed family short break — around a 20-minute walk into Lichfield, with several pubs and restaurants nearby. Communication from the host was excellent, with helpful parking details and clear arrival instructions.

Great to have a file containing details of local restaurants, takeaways etc. Facilities were excellent and having little cereal boxes, coffee, tea and other essentials provided was a lovely touch. The accommodation was absolutely perfect, immaculately clean, modern and full of thoughtful touches like tea and coffee supplies. One of the most organised and well managed stays I’ve ever had, thanks to Phil for his clear effective communication and for letting us stay in his accommodation. Everything really was great.

Overall it was very comfortable, with good facilities and we felt very well provided for. .finding the entrance door was a tad confusing as its tucked behind the building - but once found all easy. It also has fairly steep stairs so not a place for someone with issues getting up such things.

A nice extra the breakfast starter and tea and coffee & milk. Very clean and comfy beds with lovely furnishings. Very nicely laid out for a comfortable stay.

On arrival the apartment's appearance was very clean and tidy with good attention to detail. There is a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Tea, coffee & hot chocolate, with milk sachets in the fridge. The apartment was very spacious with two lovely sized bedrooms. Good quality bedding, {this makes a huge difference to a good night sleep) The bathroom is also large, with a huge shower. Great size towels, and decent toilet paper and hand soap. This is one of the comfy, clean well presented places I've stayed. Ideal locations too as you have a good size parking space. The cul-de-sac was very quiet. The bed was very comfy & I slept really well. Curtains & blinds, are a great touch and not overlooked either. Excellent spacious apartment

• David (5/5): It met our needs, but I wish it hadn't been so heavily fragranced. - There were multiple sources of fragrance to a level that triggered a reaction for one of us, so we had to hide them in the closet during our stay and leave windows wide open. The sofa bed partially collapsed in the middle of the final night.

Late notice stay so understandable. Lovely hot shower and all clean. Just heating being off when we went in, cold during the night, no heating in bedroom.

• Bryan (8/5): Overnight stay...(four friends attend a funeral). - The communication from the owner was fantastic and the parking space was v.easy to identify from his photos. The apartment is reached from carpeted stairs to the first floor from the outside door. Every corner we turned, it was a case of 'Ooh, that's nice!' or 'That's a nice touch' etc so we were all quite well suited. The apartment is pretty much ideal for two adults and maybe two kids if one would take the sofa bed..and for 2-3 day stay. Kitchen was generally well equipped. Good dish washer!! I know Lichfield very well and Waitrose was a 5min drive away. Second bed was a small double; we put our friends in the main room as we had invited them on the trip...and they'd driven us the 115miles!! If we'd stayed for a break we would have contributed a new cutlery set...the plastic handles detached from a few of the spoons/forks. Minor stuff.

Host was brilliant, responsive to queries and more than helpful during the stay. If I’m local again I will 100% see if this apartment is available.

• Stoney (9/5): Quiet, clean, spacious property within 20 mins walk of Lichfield. - Clean, tidy and easily able to accommodate up to six people. We were a couple and two grown sons who each needed a separate bed. Location was easy to find and as we travelled in two cars, one was able to park in the allocated space in front of the property and the other on a side road, close to the property. Surrounding area was very quiet. Contacted the property manager for access to the property which went smoothly. The main bed wasn’t the most comfortable (mattress didn’t give much when lying on top and with two in the bed we were catapulting the other one a bit when moving) but for one night was acceptable -would have been a score of 10 otherwise. We experienced a plumbing issue after all four of us showered the next morning which was raised immediately with property owner and is hopefully now rectified. This didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the apartment and would recommend staying here.

Host was super quick to respond and ve - Property was well set up and had a few of the essentials that you need when arriving.which was such a treat not to have to rush out, (cereals, coffee, tea etc) Also had a lovely sweets tray which was a lo why touch Modern finishing, and everything we needed for our stay Host was very friendly and helpful for our stay The beds were fine but the second bedroom you could feel the springs a little, at some point a new mattress is required. Also only 1 teaspoon in all the cutlery which is not a big deal at all.

• Hannah (8/5): Comfortable apartment in a great location. - Very well presented and clean with clear instructions. Great location and nice added touches. There was no iron which was a minor inconvenience, and the coffee pods were also not the right ones for the coffee machine. The shower also stopped working on the day we were leaving but the host was excellent at replying quickly and we could’ve fixed the issue if we hadn’t needed to be somewhere else at that time.

• Anonymous (10/5): very happy to have found this property, it met all our requirements and more. - booking.com the property is nicely decorated, spacious enough for 5 adults to share. great facilities, fisher washer, microwave, kettle, fridge with icebox. lots of treats provided which was a lovely touch. shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap all provided. even tea, coffees, milk and chocolates. all very thoughtful. great. there is one car parking space in front of the property with free parking on the road round the corner if needed. communication with owner. very comfortable stay. would highly recommend.

• Robert (10/5): Fabulous place! Definitely more common than a hotel just as long as you know you’ll need a taxi into town, if that’s wha - Loads more room than a hotel. Super clean and tidy and lots of thoughtful touches added. A little bit far to walk into City Centre (especially in winter) but an Uber/taxi was only £6ish (each way). Depends what you’re there for though.
