• Gary (10/5): - This accommodation belongs to an incredibly thoughtful, caring host who goes very far to make sure his guests are comfortable and well informed during their stay. The room is equipped with everything the guests possibly need, including a good selection of teas, coffee plungers, salt/pepper, carbonated water… It’s lovely to sit outside on the deck, overlooking the treetops and the mountain in the background. The bed is king size and comfortable with good lighting and charging facilities next to it on both sides. There is a large TV with many streaming services. Bellingen is a charming village. We were lucky to be there during the monthly market. Recommended.

Host has thought of everything- beach towels, picnic blankets, crockery, cutlery, microwave, etc. Didnt meet our host but communication prior to our stay was excellent- lots of info about Bellingen too. Easy parking & access. Good TV reception. There was no issue during our stay, but the bathroom is shared with the host - feels just a little uncomfortable but that's just me..

The bed was super comfy and Andrew has literally thought of everything you could need: picnic blanket, lunch boxes, beach towels, ear plugs, backpack... The location was good - away from the bustle of the town but still within walking distance. Very smooth check in experience. Nothing.

The space felt warm, homey, and spotlessly clean — everything was so comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Our privacy was completely respected, yet Andrew was always friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful whenever we needed anything. We also had our Rottweiler, Betty, with us and it was such a stress-free experience. Sometimes you worry about bringing a dog when you travel, but we felt totally at ease — Andrew was so accommodating and kind towards both us and Betty. His puppy Rocky was an absolute delight and added an extra touch of charm to our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway in beautiful Bellingen.

Everything you could want for your visit was thoughtfully provided, with plunger coffee much welcomed, being able to enjoy drinking it on your own private balcony.

The place was so thoughtfully planned for a wonderful stay — the room was big and beautiful, and the bathroom bright and clean. I’ve never met a host who leaves a picnic basket and blanket for guests! That, along with all the other little details and amenities in the room, made us feel so welcome. Door was left open, lights on, radio softly playing next to bed. Turned to a classical music station. How did Andrew know we love classical music? A lovely stay in a beautiful place.

Every detail was attended to including classical music playing on the radio on arrival. The green views from two windows were lovely too. Everything was fine, but perhaps the space was a little cramped.

• Jain (10/5): Exceptional - Look no further if you're looking for a warm, welcoming, and well-cared-for place to escape into nature. Even before we arrived, we had detailed messages about what to expect. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to make us feel instantly at home. The space itself is immaculately clean, with every little detail carefully considered. Andrew has thought about everything that you could ever need - umbrella, massage oil, picnic basket, radio, Prime and Netflix on TV!! The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with soft and nice smelling linens and the kind of mattress that makes it hard to get up in the morning. He also provided excellent local recommendations. I am definitely going to go back to unwind and also to learn a thing or two about hospitality.

After a day out, sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine or coffee, it was very relaxing. Making friends with A's dog was really nice as we were missing our own. We were starting off a longish road trip and thus needed two suitcases. The room's layout didn't allow for the space needed to open them up so we had to work around that, repositioning stools and baskets. If we were only overnighting and had small carry-on cases, this would not have been an issue.

There was Netflix mini fridge toaster microwave plus much more. Although you share the bathroom with the host it is no problem and is very private. Location is great just an easy 15min walk into town. We enjoyed a swim in the never never river and the rapids a short car trip away. Andrew and Boss his dog are great hosts. We can highly recommend a trip to the treehouse !! That we had to leave !!

• Simon (1/5): Bad - When we arrived the window and door of the guest room were open and the lights were on so it was full of bugs. The bedsheets had hairs in them which made us think they were likely not changed since the last guest. The fridge in the guest room had not been cleaned out, and had open water bottles and an open can of dog food in it. We were grossed out and immediately left and booked a motel room to stay in instead.
