Guest Reviews
- Conor (10/5): - What a lovely place! Matt (host) kept in touch in case we needed anything, the house is gorgeous and comes with tourist leaflets, a house guide, there was also tea and coffee stuff in the cupboard which was a nice touch, if you need to cook anything everything is at hand, bedrooms are spacious and beds are comfy, (best sleep i have had in weeks!) Round the corner is a shop for essentials a great bar called The Times, (we was made very welcome) and a few cafes, chip shops in walking distance, local buses are 2 mins away or approx £5-6 in an uber to city centre, I will highly recommend this property to anyone who I know is coming to Belfast, I hope to come back soon! Thank you to Matt for being a perfect host ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- tony (10/5): - Perfect
- Maddy (10/5): - Spacious
- Alex (8/5): - Location was great. Facilities were good. Matt was easy to deal with. The 2 single beds were very noisy so I didn't sleep great but the other 2 in my party slept well in the double beds. Said they were very comfortable and no noise.
- Nicola (7/5): We really enjoyed our trip to Belfast and the house was in a good proximity to most attractions. - Good space and number of bedrooms for adults and teenagers. Property was clean with everything we needed for our stay. Maybe slightly more comfortable seating downstairs would make your stay more relaxing.
- Latif (1/5): Not a great value for money - Close to city center Very old look house and very dirty outside
- Balazs (9/5): - Very clean apartment with clear instructions for everything.
- Jose (9/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Good and safe location Good communications - Good and safe location
Good communications
Local shops friendly
Easy public transport
- Yvonne (10/5): Excellent stay - Local to the city centre and easily accessible.. Smooth access to the property and very clean and spacious. Nice touches of tea and coffee and showering bits and pieces. Lots of information available and guidance from the owners who kept in touch ensuring we were happy. Nothing..all was very good.
- Danny (10/5): -
- Carla (10/5): - Beds are really comfy and Matt is so easy to get in touch with. Anything I needed he helped with quickly. House right across from bus stop too.
- Susan (8/5): Comfortable quiet "city" location to explore Belfast. - Liked the space of the home when staying 3 nights. Close to ASDA, 3 mins drive, Tesco 3 mins drive, local store within walking distance. Parking on street no problem, buses right there too if you choose to bus it into town. Kitchen well equipped for cooking, oven heated up quickly. TV has access to Netflix. Furniture is of basic styling and construction but does the job well enough. Very quiet location, no noise at night time. Host responsive to any issues. Some pots and cooking utensils were greasy looking, so a quick wash before you use is an easy fix. Initially leaving a 150 pound deposit, but if there are no issues, it is quickly returned as was mine.
- Leanne (7/5): Did the job - Convenient location. Supermarkets within walking distance, and buses just around the corner.
It's a nice enough old building, but nothing outstanding. Had everything we needed. The shower works. The TV and wifi are good. The biggest issue that we had was with the bed. It was really uncomfortable, and way too low to the ground. We also felt that the 'quiet hours' rule was a bit rich given that no-one else in the neighbourhood seems to have heard about it.
The owner seemed very pushy about rules and check out, even messaging me on our last day to remind me to do the dishes before we leave. The $300 deposit and warnings about CCTV watching us for any breaching of the rules made me expect something precious and luxurious, but it was just a bog standard old house with average furniture and plenty of wear and tear.
- dawn (8/5): Great house, great location - Lovely old house, well kept and clean. Appreciated the store cupboard ingredients and the variety of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc.. easy check-in via keybox. Good communication. Sofas aren't the most comfortable and couldn't find the iron.
- Gavin (9/5): - Good location with easy on street parking.
- Adrian (8/5): - Alles gut
- Darren (7/5): -
- BELEN (7/5): - La casa en su conjunto Barrio y los colchones
- Emma (6/5): The Teenagers were happy! - Great base for exploring Belfast. If you are planning to be out and about the house was fine but I found it rather basic but my teenage sons were happy with the Wi-Fi!
This was the the cheapest place we stayed in on our road trip of Northern Ireland. Would not recommend if you are looking for somewhere cosy to relax at the end of a busy day sightseeing; it felt more like students digs and furnishings were basic; there was a cigarette burn on the sofa . There was a washing machine but not soap powder provided. Had to pay a refundable damage deposit which was refunded quickly after our stay.
- Louise (10/5): - Close to where we needed to be. Clean and comfortable
- Anna (9/5): -
- Maria (8/5): Very good - We were a group of 4 friends and found the accommodation very comfortable and not far from central town by bus (nearby bus stop). The property has everything one would need during a trip abroad on holiday. Good communication with the host and a good experience all together. The property would benefit from an additional toilet. That's all.
Two of the beds have a metal frame and my friends say that this caused some noise when moving/turning on the bed. The two other beds have a wooden frame and we were perfectly fine with them.
Good experience overall. These are just some suggestions for it all to be 100%.
- Annie (10/5): Enjoyable - Convenient for city centre
- James (8/5): Excellent base, clean and has everything you need. - It is very well placed to access Belfast easily. The owner was very communicative throughout. The house had everything we needed and was presented clean with all the appliances we needed. Some noisy neighbours but it’s a city so that will happen
- Chloe (10/5): Considering we booked with 1 days notice, host made sure to get information to us quickly. Was absolutely perfect for us - Clean and well stocked. Perfect base for exploring the city. Plenty of on street parking. Host communicated well. Plenty of equipment in kitchen to allow cooking.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Great location with free parking and a close grocery. Plenty of space for a great price. Host was available for contact when needed and they were pleasant and kind as well. House was clean and well kept. No complaints.
- Jimmy (10/5): Just what the doctor ordered.😂 - Just perfect for what we needed.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Dominic (9/5): Superb - Great house, in good area, has 4 rooms but we only needed 3. Beds were comfy and handily had tea and coffee in cupboard along with shower gel and shampoo in bathroom. 3 minutes round corner you'll find Centra for essentials. We never ate in, but all amenities included if you decided to. 30 minute stroll to centre or 7 minute uber for £8, easy !! Great host too, with great comms. Shower was a tad weak and could do with replacing or descaling to give it a little more power.
- Charlie (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (8/5): Very good -
- Pamela (9/5): Superb -
- Carole (9/5): Cosy stay. - Suited us perfectly. Just a short bus ride from the city centre. Nothing to dislike inside the property. Although would like to see the backyard done up nicely so we could have sat outside. There were no tables and chairs outside to sit on. but it didn't spoil our stay.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Htbits (8/5): Great communication with host. Decent town house on the outskirts of town, great value for money - Host posted back a left behind electronic item
- Véronique (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully furnished, cosy house..All the basics you need are there. We were delighted the minute we entered the house..
Very good communication with Matt...
The deposite was sent back via Paypal on the Check Out day..
There were plenty of parking spaces in front of the house.
Bus to town center nearby. But we walked home in the evening..
We tried to book one more night because we did'nt want to leave..But Matt was expecting new guests (fair enough this house is a jewel) NOTHING!
Everything was beyond expectation and perfect..
We could actually live in this house
- Kayla (7/5): Good -
- Jim (9/5): Superb -
- Anfisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (6/5): Good place to stay - The place was a bit tired looking overall, especially the carpets. Thankfully my husband figured out how to turn on the heat. A good half hour into town and overall a quiet neighborhood.
- Bonnie (10/5): Exceptional - We loved this house. It had everything we needed, and was much bigger than it looked from the photos. It’s close to a lot of restaurants, and the grocery store isn’t walking distance. It was very quiet, and we barely heard the neighbors. There is a bus stop close by, but we just walked into the city center, which was only about a 30 or 35 minute walk. The host was great to work with.
- Silvia (10/5): Host wonderful - The appartment is lovely
- Bas (8/5): Good stay - Large appartment with all facilities needed Was ok
- Marti (8/5): Location was a Big Plus! Leafy outlook. - Proximity to Titanic Belfast. Washing machine was great. Host reasonably responsive. One of the beds was very squeaky. Lots of stairs.
- Natalie (9/5): Cute, comfortable clean apartment. - Very clean and tidy house. Heating was fantastic. Beds were very comfortable, linen and pillows clean and crisp. Love the loft bedrooms. Trying to work out how to use the shower lol.
- Lynn (8/5): Castleton Townhouse - There was plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. Communication good. Everything you would need. Transport links into city were good. Supermarket and garage nearby. Lots of information available. The area wasn't nice. 1 settee in the living area was stained and broken, the fridge and oven were dirty.
- R (8/5): Very good -
- Browne (10/5): Excellent location giod contact with host -
- Kerr (3/5): Tired and run down - Remote check-in was good, house offered good space. Couches were like you were sitting on metal rods, pictures all broken, cup cracked. Place very tired, requiring £150 deposit despite nothing being worth that in the house. The single bed on the first floor in particular is very noisy and fragile.
- Sofia (4/5): Disappointing - Apartment is very old, including all furnitures. Upon our request, a cot for our baby was available but no mattress and no sheets have been provided without advising us in advance.
- Stelliga (10/5): Good value, spacious and well thought out townhouse in location that is ideal with your own vehicle. - Location was good with us having a car.
Lots of space, well stocked kitchen, laundry, etc.
Well thought out for guest experience. Included hidden key lock box for those of us that might lock ourselves out!?
Matt was very responsive and helpful. Entire experience was seamless.
- Bob (9/5): A Well Presented, Well Equipped Home - We found the house to be immaculately clean with a fresh fragrance. Matt was easy to communicate with using booking.com message service, and we appreciated the written instructions left in the welcome folder. The kitchen was well equipped and we liked having the washing machine and drying racks. The heating worked well. The double bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. The single bed was not so comfortable and was very creaky. The neighbourhood is not great, although it was handy to have a large Tesco within walking distance.
- Borja (10/5): Nice property for a city break - Big and clean property
- Andy (9/5): Another brilliant trip to Belfast - I found a property to be very light, very well furnished and nicely, decorated and worth the money
- Amber (10/5): Was very good, highly recommend to others - Location was perfect. House was perfect size for 6 of us to stay in. Host was excellent to deal with as was very considerate about us bringing an extra person and price was very good! Nothing! Everything in this house was perfect
- Karen (7/5): Good - Great location. Comfortable beds. Large rooms. Kitchen utensils required cleaning before use because some had not been cleaned thoroughly. Carpets were dirty and generally looking worn.
- Murphy (10/5): This place made an excellent place from which we could explore the city, would return and recommend. - The location was easy to find, ground floor access and was in a nice neighborhood, with an excellent fish and chip shop around the corner!
- Steven (8/5): Very good - Nice spacious house, good location. Parking right outside the front door.
The host was very pleasant to deal with.
- Zoe (9/5): Spacious, excellent value property with responsive and helpful host. - Very frequent and fast bus service to the city centre. Instructions for recycling would be useful.
- Rebecca (9/5): Apart from weather everything was great. - Clean Little bit further than would have liked, however plenty of buses into the city.
- Liz (9/5): Superb - COMFORTABLE CLEAN TOWN HOUSE mATT WAS LOVELY AND ANSWERED ANY QUESTIONS WOULD DEFINATLEY STAY AGAIN
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Spacious and cosy stay, perfect for a family city break . - great property for a large family, had plenty of space. Matt was super friendly, helpful and responsive for the entirety of our stay.
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Cozy flat in a great location. Walking distance to city center. Also right on the bus line.
- Vannessa (9/5): Fab - All good. Good location also. Great little place- would book again Nothing
- Erin (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): Nice house - It's a nice 3 story townhouse a 5 minute drive from Belfast city centre. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Matt is really responsive and check in was very smooth. I thought it was good value too. We had no problems but be aware that it's a loyalist area and there are Union Jacks everywhere. I never felt afraid but I was definitely a bit uncomfortable walking around. It's also on the corner of a busy road so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.
- Geraldine (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable clean, lounge, kitchen, facilities Amenities locally, buses. Secure.
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (7/5): A good budget stay for groups with a vehicle who like to cook food at home - The kitchen had what we needed to cook. Plenty of street parking right in front of the place. Easy check in and check out process. Washing machine in unit worked well. Lots of beds, good for large groups. Quiet. We were asked for a security deposit outside of booking.com, which was an annoying hassle--though it was returned promptly. The place is narrow and tall so there are a lot of stairs. Bathtub faucet does not supply hot water. Shower was fine, though the knobs are backward so you had to turn it to cold to get hot water, which was confusing at first. A little ways outside the city center.
- Victoria (8/5): Great house near to Belfast, with a really responsive owner. - The property was clean and well appointed throughout. Easy to access and close to public transport. The owner came back to me really quickly when I asked a question, let us check in early and stayed in communication with me through our stay. The only thing lacking was comfortable seating for 6. Travelled with my 3 grown up kids and 2 partners. The lounge only has 2 settees for 2 people. Not a massive issue but meant I had to hear moaning on an evening from 2 people sitting on the floor or on dining chairs!
- Ber (9/5): City break - Great location to tour the city. Quite at night. Owner super responsive Would have liked a small clothes line out the back.
- Hays (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and clean has everything you need including toiletries ie shampoos toothpaste etc rooms were nice very comfortable stay would recommend
- Ambrose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable great location great communication.
- Kerry (8/5): good spot to stay - location and room to move around nothing
- Kimberly (10/5): I can not rate this property highly enough, it is a five minute taxi ride into belfast city centre, it was clean and the - perfect location, locals shops for everything you need while you stay, clean and comfortable and spacious.
- Mairead (7/5): I’d recommend it to friends and family - Very clean and 4 bedrooms so ideal with kids
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Robym (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmilla (10/5): Excellent host, lovely property, convenient location. highly recommend. - The property was so clean and comfortable. Matt the host was in touch to ensure we had everything we needed and got back to us incredibly quickly when we had a query. It’s clear the house is well looked after - everything was absolutely pristine in the house with quality bedding, towels and furniture. lots of leaflets for food and sightseeing etc available in the house. heating and hot water easy to work. some quirky shops and cafes in the nearby area. very accessible bus routes with buses running every 5-10 mins in both directions. Fairly quiet area in the outskirts of Belfast (bus or taxi into the city only about 10 minute journey) but the walls are very thin between the houses and there was a lot of noise from neighbours. No fault of Matt or the property itself but something to be aware of if travelling with children.
- Judith (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandra (8/5): Really enjoyed the stay in the house. - The oven was quite dirty and the trays hadn’t been cleaned.
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (5/5): Passable - location The house was super basic with the smallest TV ever, place needs a revamp
- Jasmine (9/5): Nice big family home, close to the centre and attractions. A really good stay in Belfast. - really good location, easy to get public transport or cheap for taxis to the centre, or either airport. Matt was super responsive too it was quite cold, but that’s maybe cause we couldn’t quite suss the heating out!
- Julie (9/5): Belfast girlie getaway. - Great spot for getting into the city, cosy and comfortable, suited my friend group perfectly and would be just as good for a family. One bathroom was a bit chaotic with 3 women getting ready for a night out 🤣
- Jan (10/5): Great stay in Belfast - Very cozy and nice house with a great location. The owner was friendly, helpful and was replying instantly when questions came up. Everything was great. -
- Yewande (10/5): Exceptional - The space was big very clean and well lit. It was very close to a lot of shops and food places. The rooms were all spacious and tidy and I just loved the whole feel of the place. Plus the owner was very communicative and was very quick in replying to questions. There was only one bathroom between the 4 of us but it was actually grand to be fair.
- Kathryn (8/5): Very good -
- Trevor (8/5): Very good - value for money
easy access
communication with Matt
everything was where you want it to be maybe spare blankets ..potentially chilly at night
- Paula (9/5): We had a wonderful stay in Belfast and want to go again. It was nice to get back to a property that was clean and comfor - Location close to the town. We used taxis to travel which cost between £6 and £8 to get to the town which we thought was reasonable. The house was clean and we slept well in very comfortable beds. There is nothing not to like about the house. It is quite a basic but functional property. In saying that it suited our needs for the 3 day stay.
- Petefoley1 (10/5): Exceptional - Great place, close to the city and everything that you needed was on hand. Nothing
- William (8/5): The property has a lot going for it and the host could not have been more responsive or helpful. - The property met our needs for an extended weekend visit to Belfast. Its location allowed easy access to the main attractions and the city centre and, in this instance to the Ferry Port. While the actual street was quiet, the area had a very prominent display of sectarian flags and emblems which was a little disconcerting to visitors from England.
- Nicolas (10/5): Great place, great host. -
- Oisin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wright (9/5): Superb -
