• Cat (1/5): Disappointing and not pleasant - Keys were in the door which was fine. I can't deny the view was good. The apartment was clean. The bed was fine. However I was a bit shocked at how basic it was. No sofa or living area to relax in. The bed took up the whole bedroom, which merged into the kitchen, exit. Kitchen facilities were very basic and old. The window frame was loose and draughty. It also squeaked very noisily if you tried to open it. The balcony was above the apartments and turned out to be shared with everyone else. It was unattractive and basic. A tiny bathroom with barely any space to turn around. The people who rented the apartment lived below and could hear them clearly. Could also hear neighbours. Not much soundproofing. I didn't want to be there and tried to only be there to sleep, however there was a storm and lashing rain for several days so I was stuck there at times and just hated it. Nowhere to relax except to lie on the bed. They had nicer apartments and I feel it wasn't properly explained on the site that these ones were very basic. The price was cheaper of course. That aroused suspicion and I tried to book elsewhere but the area was full. It should be made clear there is no living area, just a bed and it is tiny in size. Claustrophobic really. I would not go here again. This is for those whose aim is to save money and who are ok with very basic facilities. Tiny space, no sofa or relaxing area, shared unattractive balcony, outdated, old kitchen appliances / utensils, damaged window.

• Sabine (8/5): Alles Bestens, nur die Küche könnte mit wenigen Mitteln verbessert werden - Schön waren die unterschiedlichen Bereiche, unteranderem auch der Bereich vom Hotel, die genutzt werden konnten. Also Terrassen, Dachterrasse, Bänke. Das Frühstück vom Hotel war für mich sehr gut. Außerdem schöner Blick, sogar vom Bett aus konnte ich aufs Meer gucken und dabei noch die Sonne genießen. Außerdem war es sehr nah zum Restaurant La Orchideá, um lecker zu essen oder einfach nur in Gesellschat mit Musik einen Wein zu trinken. Üppige Vegetation und nicht zu weit und nicht zu nah nach La Playa, zum Wandern, zur Bushaltestelle, kleinen Supermarkt oder Saftbar. Die Küche war nicht gut ausgestattet. Gefehlt haben zb. diverse Kochutensilien wie Kochlöfel und co, ein bisschen mehr Besteck, Geschirrtücher (zum Abtrocknen), eigentlich überhaupt alles mögliche. Außerdem gab es keine Grundausstattung wie Salz und Pfeffer, Basics zum Kochen. Denn das kauft man sich dann und braucht nur wenig davon.
• Martin (7/5): Es war schon ganz schön. - Das Personal, das ich getroffen habe war sehr freundlich und die Lage in La Calera ist schon sehr schön. Nach ein paar Tagen, nachdem der Reinigungsmittelgeruch weg war, habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön. (wundervolle Aussicht und Wände, die auch etwas Windschutz geben, wenn man liegt.) Der Preis ist für das Appartment eigentlich zu hoch, aber ich verstehe natürlich auch, dass am Ende alle Beteiligten etwas verdienen wollen. Das Appartment war 3 von 5 Stufen sauber, aber alles schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es roch leider bei der Ankunft ganz ordentlich nach Reinigunsmitteln oder so etwas, was aber mit der Zeit verschwand. Das WLan war sehr schwach oder überlastet, so dass ich fast ausschließlich von meinem HandyHotspot aus gearbeitet habe.
• Roger (8/5): A good stay, despite some inconveniences. - The lady doing the breakfast took great pride in her work. Everything was spotless, and the food was well-presented. She attended to every detail. The checkin was awkward. We rang the bell at reception and no-one came. Eventually we found a number to ring and we were checked in quickly. But why have a bell at reception if no-one answers it? Also, we thought we had booked an apartment with a kitchenette, but had a room with a microwave. No WiFi password in the room. No shampoo in the bathroom (just soap).

• Roman (8/5): - Super Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang! Extrem schön. Unser Apartement war zwar ziemlich klein, aber fein. Sehr sauber, das Personal war super freundlich. Guten fanden wir, dass das Frühstück täglich optional war.
• Ana (6/5): - Nos gustó la vista desde la habitación y que estaba limpio No conoci al anfitrión llame a un número de teléfono ya que no habia nadie la llave la dejaron en la puerta. El baño muy pequeño para mi marido que es grande. Y el colchón muy incómodo.
• Esther (9/5): Wunderschöner Aufenthalt im Valle Gran Rey - Die Aussicht vom Apartment ist hervorragend und von der Dachterrasse aus nochmal schöner: Palmen, das Meer ... Die kleine Küche hatte alles was ich brauchte. Wenn man zu zweit ist, dann ist das Geschirr etwas knapp, am besten sofort Spülen. Das Bett war sehr gut. Ich habe dort super geschlafen. Es sind nur wenige Treppenstufen bis zum Apartment und jede Stufe lohnt ich. Das Valle Gran Rey ist halt besonders und La Calera für mich das ideale Dorf zum übernachten. Ich komme gerne wieder. Leider habe ich nur telefonisch mit den Vermietern kommunizieren können. An der Rezeption vom Hotel Concha, wozu auch das Apartment gehört, habe ich 5 Tage lang niemanden angetroffen. Der Weg zum Apartment wurde mir am Telefon erklärt. Es gibt bestimmt Gäste, die das mögen. Mir ist aber der direkte menschliche Kontakt wesentlich angenehmer.

No me gustó , que decía pagar en el alojamiento y al enfermarse mi cuñada y pasar toda la noche en el hospital ...fue cobrado el alojamiento...así que antes de reservar si no puedes preveer que pueda pasar algo así los apartamentos de concha no es lugar donde poder confiar...

• Deborah (7/5): Jolie vue - Le charme du petit quartier La Calera, l'amabilité de l'ensemble du personnel, la vue de la chambre, le petit déjeuner (entre 8 et 10h à 10€ à payer la veille) pris en terrasse. On apprécie la climatisation, car la chambre étant petite, la chaleur s'accumule vite. Appartement vraiment petit, du coup lit petit. Pour une personne pas de problème. Peut être qu'ajouter des crochets pourrait être intéressant. Les murs sont en carton mais heureusement que le voisin était discret.

• Paula (7/5): Good - Nice terrace with good views. Okay equipped for a few days. Good location. Restaurante La Orquídea is around the corner (very good food). The apartment would need a better clean up, specially the toilet. Not very attentive staff. The space is quite small, but good value for money overall.

• Mary (9/5): A lovely place to stay! - The lady on Reception was very friendly and helpful. In fact, all the staff were really nice. The apartment was ideal size for one person. Kitchenette was well stocked . I had a great view of the sea from my bedroom window and the roof terrace made up for not having a balcony. The location was great. Taxi stand and Bus station were only a few minutes away. Lovely fresh fruit salad, cereals and delicious bread rolls available for breakfast. Nothing really. A microwave would have been welcome but had adequate cooking facilities. A soft easy chair to look at view!

• Jens (7/5): Very ok for a few days stopover! - Nice view over the sea and sound thereof. Good quiet AC. Friendly reception service. Everything was very clean. Wifi worked well. Soap provided. Nice quiet area. Common rooftop terrace is nice. Plenty water pressure. Kitchen tools are ok but a bit lacking. Nice oven provided, but not much use without oven trays and utensils. Windows would squeal less with some simple maintenance and lubrication. Worn shower head could use replacement. I fixed your rickety shower curtain rod: if the telescopic extension was pulled out too far, you should just pull it out completely and "start over" by putting it back in on the other end...
