• Marta (3/5): Sucio y mala zona - El alojamiento era un “salvavidas”. Necesitábamos algo para poder dormir una noche y eso era aceptable según nuestro presupuesto, que no barato. El alojamiento estaba sucio. Las imágenes no corresponden con la realidad, tú ves un edificio medianamente aceptable, habitaciones medio modernas pero cuando llegas ves que el edificio tiene más años que la tos, que tiene pinta de que te van a dar un navajazo en cualquier momento y cuando subes al “hotel” ves que es un piso en el que han hecho habitaciones individuales en cada estancia. El baño están sucísimo al punto de que había pelos en el desagüe de la ducha, el toallero se caía a cachos, la cortina de la ducha ni había visto una lavadora desde que se puso… como estaría de sucio que no nos hemos atrevido ni a dejar los cepillos de dientes en el lavabo. Saliendo del baño llegamos a la habitación: la cama hundida, las almohadas que eran tan sumamente finas que estaban en 2D. Y ya el barrio… apaga y vámonos. Si, en la estación de Termini. Si, muy bien para el transporte… pero poco se habla de que tienes que ir con mil ojos y de que cada vez que entras o sales del portal hay tres o cuatro hombres con “malas pintas” portal decirlo de alguna manera. Tuvimos que volver al “hotel” a las 8 de la tarde porque no nos fiábamos de que no nos robaran.

• Veronica (9/5): Volvería a alojarme ahí! - La habitación es tal cual lo ves en las fotos, es muy confortable y limpia. La ubicación es práctica a metros de Termini y de Santa María della Maggiore. Me moví caminando, sin inconvenientes. La ventana de la habitación da a una escalera así q prendí el aire acondicionado.

• Patrick (7/5): Dépannage près de la gare - La proximité de la gare de Rome et la possibilité d’arriver tardivement en raison du retard du train. La communication sur WhatsApp avec l’hôte. Une seule serviette par personne, pas très grande. Pas de débarbouillette pour le visage, pas de serviette pour les mains. On a dû gérer le papier de toilette, car les deux rouleaux disponibles étaient presque terminés. Pas de verre pour boire.

• PABLO JESUS (9/5): Just aceptable. - Very closed to Termini and Sta María La Maggiore...convinient for pilgrims. Small place as a whole...and...if other guests are noisy...it becomes imposible yo rest...
• Florence (5/5): Clean but not the place for older people. - The location was ok. The only person we met the whole time other than at check in were 2 young men there to clean the room at check out. They helped us get our luggage down to street level which would have been impossible for us to do on our own. It was very quiet as there was never any staff there to talk to or ask questions/directions of. Everything was by phone. While the location was okay and there was an elevator inside, we were not told we would have to climb stairs or a high ramp to get up from the street to the level of the entrance. It was very high! And with all of the young men hanging around the entrance it made for some anxiety entering the building, especially at night. This would be fine for some young men to be staying there, but for 2 old ladies, it was a little intimidating.

• Angelika (3/5): Very close to the station but please check google reviews. - It was next to the station. The area felt unsafe, particularly the big groups of people who would be outside the front door drinking alcohol. I would not recommend to female solo travellers.
• Khalil (1/5): A noisy machine inside the room. - This is the worse place I have ever stayed in. The address of the property is different from the exact location of the room. A noisy machine in the room I can not sleep with such noise

• Birte (2/5): Unsafe, noisy, outdated - Walking distance to the main train station. We were really disappointed with our stay. The location felt quite unsafe, especially for two girls walking around alone at night — definitely not what we expected when we booked. The room looked much older and less clean than in the photos. The air conditioning only worked when the lights were on, which made it hard to sleep in the heat. It was also very noisy — we could hear other guests coming and going throughout the night. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.
• Cathy (6/5): Im sure you could find something better for less cost - Room was small but clean and neat, thankfully aircon worked really well. No real outstanding features but comfortable with a good shower. Location was very close to train station The down side of being close to the station is the area is a bit dicey, with dubious types just hanging around, so we didnt stay out too late. It would have been handy to have a kettle. We booked and paid 5 months in advance and relatively it was by far our most expensive 2 nights stay and the most ordinary room for all our 8 weeks, not the worst just ordinary.

• Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect! The apartment was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and located right in the heart of the city, close to everything. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful — they made the check-in process easy and provided us with great tips on where to eat and what to visit. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

Issues resolved quickly AC didn’t work on the first night but was resolved the next day and even fan provided in case of further issues. The plugs by the bed turn off when the lights go off so can’t use them overnight. The lift also broke one evening but this was removed the next day and nothing to do with the owners

• Paola (5/5): Passable - The staff was friendly, and the check in went smoothly. There was a good market very close. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, you could feel the metal bed support and one of the beds felt like it was totally sunk in the center. The shower was not so clean... at the end of our stay it started to smell. When we came back everyday, we realized that the room was smelling bad. There was no place to organize clothes, there was a small table but not sufficient for 4. The surroundings did not felt safe, one day we got followed and checked out, fortunately we realized it was happening.

• Rita (6/5): Pleasant - Checking in was easy, everything was clean and comfortable. The accomodation looks exactly the same as on the pictures. No one bothers you during the stay. Easy to reach both airports and the underground and the bus station. The neighbouhood is a bit frightful. As it is near to the railway station is quite obvious but therefore should be a bit cheaper. The outside part of an air conditioning or some other machine next to the window was extremely loud during the night.

Stood outside for about 40mins before property owner replied back to whatsapp message. No place to hang clothes. Bed mattresses are weak and slumps down in the middle.

• Anna (5/5): Not bad, but i I would not recommend to friends because of the molds on the wall. It is very dangerous to health. - Clean bed and towels. Air condictioner works correctly. Hairdryer and cosmetics in bahtroom available. The host was friendly. Very close to termini station. A lot of MOLDS ON THE WALLS and in the bathroom. Everything looked old and damaged, not like on the photos. Window in the room to the staircase… not too much fresh air because of this.
• Michal (8/5): I am happy with my stay at Overseas Guesthouse. - The owner of the place was great—very helpful, with almost immediate responses to my questions via WhatsApp. I'm very happy with both the place and the staff. Nothing to add here. In my opinion, the place was satisfying.

Super unsafe with lots of locals drinking beer even in the morning harassing us and shouting at us. I was traveling with my younger sister and I feared for our safety so we checked out early.
