- Kelsie (10/5): Wonderful cottage, perfect for a family wedding nearby - A wonderful little cottage, perfect location for my brother's wedding at Danby Castle. The cottage had everything we could've possibly needed for the weekend! Hosts were very communicative, and loved all the extra touches in the cottage, like biscuits and teabags, games for adults and children. There is a sign on the wall of the cottage, however this was blocked by a parked car, and in the dark and snow it was hard to figure out which cottage we were staying in. A light over the sign, or maybe one on the other side of the wall would be helpful. This was the only tiny issue with the cottage though! Everything else is perfect.
- Stella (9/5): A cosy little cottage in a convenient location . It had everything needed for a wonderful stay. (family wedding at Danby - A cosy little cottage in a convenient location . It had everything needed for a wonderful stay. (family wedding at Danby Castle) B/A
- Amanda (10/5): - It was comfortable and cosy. Perfect place to stay when you’re going to a wedding at danby castle The property was perfect but it’s a nightmare getting taxis around the area

- Joanna (9/5): A great week in Castleton, for wedding celebrations combined with a holiday - The main reason for our stay was a wedding at Danby Castle. The property is in a perfect location, a short drive to the venue and still handy for the coast and walks in the area. Conveniently located in the village with everything we needed. Nothing

- Erica (10/5): A peaceful haven in the heart of the moors - Great to have a parking spot and lovely peaceful outlook from the property. It was quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife nearby and there were actually swifts nesting on the property which was the highlight of my holiday. Beds could have been firmer but that's just personal preference as I like a very firm bed.
- Ulrich (9/5): Superb - Excellent

It’s a lovely place in an ideal location. I stayed for a local family wedding, but I’d happily go back just to hike and enjoy the stunning scenery.
Don't hesitate, just book it!!!🙌

- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Tracey (9/5): Wonderful place, wonderful village. - The property was easy to find and in a great location. Even the neighbour across the helped us in our hour of need. I could say cosy but it's a bit more than cosy it's very comfortable with plenty of room. To find something it would be I couldn't shut the gate, but then that could just be me.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Margaret (8/5): Immaculate cottage and comfortable beds. - As indicated in feedback to the property the TV access to stations was limited to BBC due to the way in which the TV was set up.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Attention to detail. Little things like tea and coffee for our arrival. Spotlessly clean. Idyllic location.
- Nicola (7/5): Had the potential to be great, just attention to a few more details would have made it better. - Location excellent, very convenient. Property was immaculate - super clean. Hosts very kindly left vegan welcome goodies as my partner is vegan - this was a nice touch. Beds too soft for me - I really struggled to sleep well BUT I acknowledge my back is not the best and I prefer a very firm mattress so this may have been more of a question of taste than anything else.
Bathroom light gave out towards end of stay.
We needed to replace the battery in the firestick remote and had to spend ages trying to reset the firestick because nothing was connecting to the WiFi, it kept buffering and just progressing no further. With no TV aerial and reliant on Internet, this could have been problematic! Fortunately we sorted it after trying a range of things, but someone not tech savvy would have been stuck. It may be that the firestick is quite old and could do with updating - older ones can't cope well with the amount of bandwidth needed for streaming these days.
Kitchen was stocked with basics but would have benefited from.a few more utensils to aid cooking, such as a sharp knife!
- Iain (8/5): Great cottage in a lovely village - Great location and very comfortable Nothing
- Emma (10/5): Fantastic hosts who have built up a folder of local trips, walks and restaurants. The resources helped us plan our perfe - It feels like a home away from home! Very clean and perfect location to start your walks around the moors from!
- Shirley (10/5): Comfortable well equipped accommodation in a great location. - Clean and tidy, beautifully furnished and very comfortable beds. Great location, good parking facility off road by the cottage so good for loading and unloading. There was nothing we didn’t like. It is a beautiful cottage well equipped with everything we needed.
- Helen (10/5): Good location and very clean and comfortable - Location was perfect to attend a funeral in a nearby church . Arriving to a lit Christmas tree and other Christmas touches, as well as a tray set and milk in the fridge was so welcoming. Everything was very clean and well thought out. A name on the wall at least as large as the parking signs would be easier to spot, but this may be restricted by the conservation area
- Paul (10/5): Perfect little cottage in the North York moors. I would definitely stay again - Perfect for a family of 4, kids didn’t mind sharing a double bed.
Very spacious, nice and quiet little village with lovely views.
The cottage was very clean when we arrived, a lovely welcome pack on the table.
Lovely pub in the village also.
Perfect if you wanna get away from it and just relax. Needed batteries in the TV remote control.

- Pat (9/5): A lovely cottage that’s ideal for exploring the local area, and centrally placed if you want to go further afield. - Clean, bright, and airy, with plenty of space. Good internet connection and good parking.
