• Furqan (1/5): The worst place. - Leiligheten var ok. Bra med fasiliteter i leiligheten, men det lukter så dårlig at man ikke klarer å være der Det stank røyk i hele boligen. Som om noen har røyket fast i boligen uten å engang åpne vinduer Jeg klarte ikke å være der i mer enn 5min. Leide ett hotell pg flyttet der med engang. Når jeg spurte om refusjon så sier verten at det ikke lukter røyk der.

Worth the money - Location was excellent just off the main road and within a couple of miles of Doncaster Racecourse Could have done with a few items - mirror in the bathroom. Parking was at a premium but managed to park nearby

• Yasmin (4/5): The flat was okay for sleeping in but glad we didn’t have to spend any longer than we did as the flat felt a bit unclean - Bed and sofa bed were clean, the flat was warm and tea bags, milk and coffee sachets were provided. Overall the place was okay for sleeping in. Good distance away from wedding venue. There was a very heavy cigarette smell when we came in which really wasn’t ideal as we were going to a wedding and didn’t want our clothes smelling of smoke. There was a bit of faeces left in the toilet when we arrived. The shower gels left out only had a small bit left at the bottom. The carpet in the flat looked quite stained and unclean. There were also crumbs left on the kitchen surfaces.

• Susan (6/5): Convenient for racecourse - The bed was comfortable, and the location was convenient for the racecourse - only a short drive. Both TVs were working fine (an earlier review reported that one was having problems). The blinds in the bedroom, living room etc. were good at keeping out the daylight! Very nicely decorated and not too fussy. There were little details that niggled and were really very small things that can be fixed easily by the owners. Bathroom - water pressure on shower is low (shower unit made some odd noises too!), there is no toilet roll holder or mirror, no power point for electric razor. Only two towels - one bath towel, one bathsheet, no handtowel or bath mat, so impossible to get out of shower or bath without getting floor wet. 'Free toiletries' were supermarket handwash and shower gel (end of bottle). Just a tiny touch here could make it so much better. Kitchen - didn't use the oven or any of the cookware after seeing how badly scraped the frying pan's teflon coating was. Maybe replace it and replace the metal kitchen tools with silicone? Bedroom - there is a curtain rail hanging off the wall above the window, but this is really not needed as the room didn't have curtains and the blinds are really good. It just looked like it might fall off at any moment. It would be better taken down. Living room - read earlier reviews saying how uncomfortable the sofa bed was for sleeping, but I didn't sleep on it so can't comment. However, it is very uncomfortable for sitting on as the seat depth is massive! You can only really recline on it.
• Michelle (1/5): - there was nothing to like.. It is in a block of flats that do not show the area.properly. I didn't like anything . There is no central heating No hot water ... 1 towel No radiators were working. There was no utensils or baking trays to use the oven... There was hardly any cutlery.. It was also pretty dirty in the bathroom .its damp and mouldy smelling Nothing like its pictures. It ruined my stay and we never went to the races as could not wash as no hot water.. It also had an electric meter which i have never seen in a hotel /apartment setting... I was promised a 50 % discount 3 weeks later im still waiting. I am appalled with the owner of the property and also booking.com you have let me down.

• Matty (10/5): Perfect little get away - From reading previous comments, I was a bit un easy at going into the property, but honestly I am even shocked that anyone has left a half bad review as the property was clean intact spotless throughout, smelt fresh soon as walked in, the bed in the bedroom extremely comfy. Our girls stayed on the sofa bed and enjoyed it, they asked to live there they enjoyed it that much, so peaceful even the neighbours spoke and was polite, Deffo a small home from home will be booking again There wasn't a single issue would recommend anyone to come enjoy the property

• Elaine (6/5): Good value stay for an odd night in the area! - Could do with a couple more cups, some teaspoons & a tea towel! the hot water pressure in the bathroom is very poor, it takes a long time to fill the bath! Needs a bathroom mirror! Some of the plug sockets in the bedroom don't work!

The flat has pretty much everything you need and was clean on arrival. Bed in bedroom is comfortable On setting up the sofa bed we found a pile of biscuit crumbs under the cushions which we had to hoover up. My teenagers slept on the sofa bed and said it was very uncomfortable-they didn’t get much sleep. A tea towel in the kitchen would be handy Difficult to get hot water from the bathroom sink tap. Plug socket between bed and window does not work so unable to use the lamp or charge phone there.

• Lauren (8/5): The stay was great, standard but very clean - It was easy to check in and out via lock box and there was plenty of parking. The bed was comfortable and kitchen facilities were good, though basic. We were attending a wedding at Rossington hall and the location was perfect. Also a pub and restaurant within walking distance and the front street only 10 minutes away in the car. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. There was very poor service connection in the room, some rooms with no service at all and the wifi password was not provided, even upon asking.

Could use some curtains in the living room & bedroom due to only having vertical blinds- could possibly drown out the noise too. Could do with a throughout deep clean due to things under the sofa bed.
• Stephanie (7/5): good for the price was fine for the 1 night we needed - perfect location for what we needed, good price, done the job for the 1 night we needed sofa bed broken had to make my daughter a bed up on the floor using pillows, dining chair wobbly (by alot not just uneven flooring as we moved chair too) Hair on shelves in bedroom, sofa a little grubby, no batteries in lounge remote, tissue and debris under bed (I dropped an earring and seen this when looking for it) don't get me wrong wasn't expecting alot for £66 but even so it just didn't feel as clean as I personally would of liked

• Bekii (8/5): Over all absolutely perfect 👌 - Everything. 11 minute drive to ypurkshire wildlife park, 7 minute drive to donny dome, asda and more. The apartment, was clean tidy and beautiful. The bath tap should come with a caution, as I burnt my hand. We could not work the living television. Other than this amazing!

• Rachel (1/5): Bad - The Shower was hot Booked to stay at racecourse apartment, turned up to find another Couple already in there. They had booked racecourse Cottage but the vendor had provided them with the details for our apartment, including the lock box Code. We tried to call booking.com and we were unable to get through to them for over 20mins. In the end we spoke with a very unhelpful and flustered member of staff who told us that we needed to go to the Cottage instead ( the other Couple had been drinking and had children in bed so were unable to go to the Cottage) We were sent instructions to get to the Cottage which was back in the car and driving further away. The Cottage was nearly impossible to find as it was at the back of a house with no Clear signage from the road. Arriving in the Dark made this even more difficult. Once we finally got in the Cottage, first impressions were good but the living arrangement wasn't very comfortable, there was a smell of damp due to a leaking fridge being shoved in a cupboard. Upstairs all the doors and skirting were yellow from long term smoking in the property which as non smokers we found pretty disgusting. The Shower was awful and the extractor fan so loud it was impossible to sleep whilst it was on, not to mention the ticking Clock in the bedroom. Some of these points may seem quite petty and pedantic, but after the night and the absolute mare that we had we just couldn't enjoy out stay.

Apartment had everything I needed for my overnight stay. About a 15 minute walk/2 min drive to Asda superstore. Couldn't find a tea towel :)

• Lorna (7/5): Good - It's in a good location . Close to the racecourse . And id defo stay again , as we only used it to sleep , as was out at the races all day. Although it felt like it had been cleaned and smelt nice, the stains on the sofa and the living room rug made it feel abit shabby . The kitchen floor is really bad where the lino has lifted so looks scruffy .these are only little things but would give a much better experience if they were addressed .
