• Viset (10/5): Adembenemend. - Het hotel heeft meerdere chalets, verdeeld over het stadje. Onze accommodatie lag hoger op een heuvel en dat leverde een prachtig uitzicht op de grote bergen. We wilden niet weg ;-) De busverbinding naar het stadje is uitstelend, en als klant van het hotel is het gratis voor alle vier personen (je krijgt een pasje). De rit duurt nog geen 10 minuten. De huiselijke sfeer van het chalet was fijn. Je voelde je er direct thuis. Niets.

• Eden (10/5): Splendid. Will definitely return again and stay with them again. - The location and view is next level. Staff are so very friendly and always quick to respond by text on booking.com. I am 27 week pregnant so I found the hill a little difficult to climb as expected so needed taxi to come from station to hotel which cost 25CHF. They do have a bus service which runs every 30min and I somehow was always unlucky with them and last bus is at 7pm. So if you are going somewhere for the day of you want to get the bus need to be back before 7pm or else you will have to walk it or taxi it.

Foi um lugar que foi possível trabalhar (a internet é boa), preparar as nossas refeições, e descansar depois de um dia de passeio. Na verdade, o hotel cuida de vários apartamentos que estão próximos da propriedade principal. O ponto de ônibus fica bem em frente ao hotel, mas eles te buscam e levam para a estação de trem. Depois de fazer o check in, você ganha um cartão que permite andar de transporte público gratuitamente. O que ajuda na hora de ir no supermercado e no teleféfico. O café da manhã é caro. 25 CHF por pessoa. Mas é possível cozinhar no apartamento.

Getting to train station was easy with bus 124. But there was restricted service in terms of timing. The walk uphill from bus stop was good workout. If you feel like having more workout, you can walk all the way uphill from train station, which is about half an hour. If you like insects, we found a few spiders in the apartment. • Stuart (9/5): Fantastic place which would be improved with a little tweaking - Wow what a view from the balcony. The property was spacious and well laid out. Well provisioned. Close enough to town to walk. Overall fantastic but would be a 10 if issues were tidied. Fireplace was fiddly. Limited to 1 car park when underground parking was empty and wanted to charge extra for our second car. Apartment is a long way from main house so you basically dont use the restaurant and bar. The upstairs sitting rooms looks like it could be a spare bedroom but was not used in that way. Entry stairs are hazardous.

• Florence (10/5): Parfait!! - Tout était tip top! L'appartement dans le chalet Hilty Hus est idéalement situé face aux splendides montagnes que sont le Schreckhorn et le massif de l'Eiger. Tout confort, cuisine très bien équipée, salle de bain magnifique avec une fenêtre, jolie chambre de taille moyenne mais joliment décorée avec une armoire éclairée et un coffre. Grand télévision avec une planchette pour y déposer les téléphones à recharger. et puis le calme de l'endroit, fantastique pour se ressourcer! une place de parking attenante au chalet, parfait! Un vrai local à skis avec des sèches-chaussures qui ferme à clé.

• Künzli (8/5): Gute Preisleistungs-Verhältnis jedoch für 4 Sterne schon noch der eine oder andere Makel, der nicht sein sollte. - Nahe ÖV Anbindung, Hund kein Problem, Parkplatz in der Nähe, kleine und gute moderne Wohnung - Servicepersonal im Restaurant konnte teilweise kein Deutsch, musste in Englisch reden und erklären, dies als Schweizer Notabende in der Schweiz im tiefsten Berner Oberland, kann es das sein? - Brunch wird mit CHF 25.— angepriesen und es wird einem gesagt man könne einfach an den Brunch kommen ohne Voranmeldung. Anschliessend werden jedoch CHF 30.— verrechnet, weil man sich für die Reduktion hätte anmelden müssen. Es wurde uns dann gutgeschrieben, jedoch steht das in den Booklets nirgends und das Personal hat sogar auf extra Frage dies nicht erwähnt. - Bei Glatteislage gab es nirgends Salz oder Streu um die Treppe vor der Wohnung oder der Vorraum vor der Haustüre sicher zu machem. Selbst vor dem Hotelhaupteingang ist es gefährlich rutschig und nicht geräumt.

Met name omdat we bij het boeken niet hadden gezien dat het appartement dat we hadden geboekt nog wat verder van het dorp lag en we ongevraagd (tegen iets bijbetaling) dit fraaie appartement dichterbij het hotel en dorp konden krijgen! • rowan (10/5): Simply stunning - so we booked 2 extra days - Definitely the best views in town - we were dumb struck at the stunning mountain scenery and huge size of our apartment! We have stayed in Grindelwald before and really like the location of Kirchbühl as it’s slightly up from the main town - making it more tranquil - whilst only a short stroll in / or you can take the shuttle bus! We walked to terminal station everyday and back as we were getting some early season sking in! This town tops Zermatt as it’s just so relaxed and the slopes quiet in early season - we just love it! The train is great for trips down to interlarken etc so lots to do - we will definitely be back next year! The team here are super cool and helpful as well - they even picked us up from the station x Having to leave!
