- Donna (10/5): - Staff were very accommodating and allowed me to have an early check- in which meant I could carry out a teams meeting in comfort and with privacy. The location was a great as it was so close the to train station so very handy the next morning for a catching my flight.
- Bill (5/5): - Some staff didnt look interested. Much prefer Mal Maison Liverpool.
- Henry (9/5): -
- Laura (9/5): Nice hotel in a good location - Good location, nice stylish hotel, friendly staff and nice bar area.
- Paul (9/5): - Good location. Lovely room. Comforta le, spacious, clean and tidy. Helpful, friendly staff. Nothing really except family we stayed with later told us coffee, tea and biscuits were out of sight in the wardrobe so we didn't see them.
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Colin (10/5): -
- Aileen (8/5): Fabulous location. Even with the couple of disappointing elements, it was still a lovely stay. - I like the style and cleanliness of the hotel. The bedroom/bathroom were beautiful. The arrival staff were friendly and welcoming. The bar staff were knowledge and fast serving. The location is brilliant. The continental breakfast was great, it had a lovely selection but the avocado on the California breakfast was awful. It was the cheap avocado paste which tastes very sour and ‘gone off’. I couldn’t eat it. At that price point I’d have expected fresh smashed avocado. The lady who served us came across rude and unusual. Long pauses and a bit uncomfortable.
- William (9/5): -
- Martin John (9/5): Excellent Service and very comfortable hotel - Excellent Service A little expensive versus others available.

Breakfast Nothing
- David (8/5): -
- Claire (8/5): Good base to explore the city. - Good location. Noise of city not audible from room. Amazing breakfast. Sleep disturbed in the early Hours by late night revellers returning to their rooms
- king (3/5): DISAPPOINTING - THE ROOM WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A DOUBLE. IT WAS TINY. WE HAD TO PAY TO UPGRADE THE ROOM
- Gary (6/5): - Too dark and got down at 9:59 am for breakfast but despite paying for it audit was closed
- María (8/5): -
- Brenda (6/5): Reception staff need to ensure they communicate with customers and equipment in room should be checked prior to guest ar - Location Room facilities. Lack of communication by reception staff. TV was not working and when reported, only then were we told work was being done on antenna. Coffee machine did not work and was replaced by another which was faulty but we persisted.
- Lee (2/5): - Nothing Everything
- Priya (7/5): -
- Steven (10/5): -
- Jones (10/5): Great location - Great hotel! - Brilliant location near Piccadilly Station, perfect for access to town. It felt safe and quiet and had a much higher level of decor and comfort than I was expecting. Hotel bar was great and open til 1am, and plenty of options for eating both at the hotel and locally.
- Lee (9/5): -
- JONATHAN (4/5): Gone downhill - Location
- Sian (7/5): Nice hotel with a good atmosphere bar. But think the price should have been less than we paid - When we arrived the bar was busy with a dj playing and a good atmosphere which we loved. Nice reception area. Good location. Good size room. Neither me or my partner enjoyed our breakfast. The view out of our bedroom window wasn’t good it was straight opposite another building. The lighting in the room isn’t great for getting ready as it’s abit dim lighting.
- Tearle (10/5): The very friendly pleasant and extra helpful staff made my stay. - Room big and beautiful. Food unique and lovely. Decoration original and different and exciting. Bed extra comfy .Staff helpful and very accommodating. Loved layout of downstairs and decor. Perhaps daytime music a trifle loud. Could have more choice of movies but perhaps i just didnt find them.
- Susannah (8/5): Lovely staff great service - Location size and bar area Decor a bit dated in rooms
- Jo (7/5): An ok stay, wouldn’t rush back - Decor and layout was good.
Massage was excellent
Staff in the restaurant were very attentive
Staff in reception very business like and unfriendly, not welcoming or smiley. The spa was very basic and smelt of drainage.
The cost of the room was overpriced.

- Graham (7/5): Fine hotel shame about the shower - Fairly quiet considering busy street outside. Got up in the morning just before checkout to get a shower and the mixer tap on the shower didnt work. So it was a freezing cold shower and wouldnt have had time to complain/move rooms due to train time. Didnt really have time to complain on leaving but informed front desk who just said they'd get someone to look at it which didnt really offer me any sort of compensation. I feel that things like showers, taps etc should be checked as part of room service and this one clearly wasn't. Shame as it was a fairly nice hotel. The too hot to handle warning of hot water which had been hung in the shower was actually quite comical considering it was placed and the shower not checked 😂

- tim (9/5): Highly recommended - Location and bar area
- David (7/5): - I checked in at 8pm and left at 08.30am the next morning so I can't give a proper review. Room was clean and a good size. Reception staff seemed pleasant. Only negative i could say is the front room are quite noisy with the bars across the road but everything settled down around 11pm.
- Paul (10/5): Great location to explore Manchester from and a luxurious place to relax and unwind afterwards - Great location, love the decor and the rooms are really comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic too. Nothing

- kevin (4/5): Very disappointing. Better value in premier inns. Really needs to up its game with so many new hotels in town. Won’t sta - The fact that it is an old established manc building but that’s about all It’s looking tired. It’s a bit of a manc institution is the Mal. However, the place is looking tired. With many new hotels in the town it really needs to up its game. There is a new Mal in town so I suppose money has been spent there but it all honestly the premier inns in town are better value. I upgraded my room for £20 per night but it wasn’t worth it. The room was only just bigger than a standard room, the dressing gown was threadbare , the gratuities like tea, coffee, soap bars etc were not replaced each day unless I left a note for the housekeeper to replenish them. The view from the tiny window was terrible. The food in the restaurant was extremely expensive, £24 for breakfast!! All in all a very disappointing stay from a hotel I have long loved to stay in.
- Ammar globettrotter (9/5): -

- louise (9/5): It was a comfortable stay and good food . - The location , the hotel is nice and the bedroom is big and comfortable. Some of the staff at breakfast and dinner in the evening not organised and not that professional.
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Steve (3/5): £180 for that ?!?! Avoid - Wet-room shower was great - about time this became a standard feature, instead of shoe-horning a tiny cubicle into an area (although the sink was waaay to close to the toilet).
LED wall mirror was excellent.
TV had most of the premium Sky channels. Carpet was dirty - covered in white fluff of some sort.
No sound proofing at all. Awful, considering the city centre location. Right on a main junction, so cars revving engines waiting for lights to change, and across from other hotels with the smokers congregation.
Room sloped towards toilet - kinda dangerous in the dark at 2am.
One lift out of order; the other was slower than a week in jail.
No stairs to take you beyond the first floor... except for the fire evacuation ones.
- Efrat (10/5): - Great room, large, comfortable beds and pillows
We came after staying at Hilton inn Old Trafford and Malmaison is better in every aspect
You get what you paid and more than that. Nothing
- Robert (8/5): Very comfortable - Clean Chaotic breakfast; ran out of coffee cups, juice glasses. There was no sign indicating which juice was which.
Cooked breakfast very average. Continental breakfast massively overpriced.
- Krystian (1/5): Unacceptable cleanliness and poor customer service – we had to leave within 40 minutes - Nothing The condition of the hotel was completely unacceptable. The bathroom and bathtub were dirty, the walls were not clean, and there were flies in the rooms.
We were shown two different rooms, and both had similar issues, which suggests that this is a general problem rather than an isolated case.
When I reported the issue at reception and mentioned the flies, the staff member responded that “it may happen sometimes,” which I found very unprofessional.
Due to these conditions, we were unable to stay and had to book another hotel. We spent no more than approximately 40 minutes at the property in total.
When I asked about a refund, I was told that the receptionist needed to contact the manager. Shortly after, I was only given an email address to submit a complaint. I sent a complaint to that email but have not received any response.
As of now, I have still not received any refund.
- Göran (10/5): En premiumvistelse! - Läget, inredningen på hotellet, bra frukost och bra service!
- Natiemarie (10/5): Great spot in Manchester - Very convenient location, close to the train station and close to everything we needed. The room was quiet and the curtains were blackout. Nothing it was perfect for what we needed
- LEWIS MIZZI (10/5): - Breakfast 🍳 was very good 👍.The Spanish girl was amazing in the breakfast The restaurant have lovely food Food but the bathroom needs updating
- Jodie (8/5): -
- Kelly (9/5): good, surprisingly quiet for the area. not exceptional but good - comfortable and great location amenities, no hair conditioner, no lotion, basic mid quality of others
- Fabrizia (10/5): -

- Sarna (10/5): -
- Vaughan (10/5): -
- Erla (8/5): Good hotel, helpful staff and great location -
- John (7/5): Great location, great standard of hotel, clean & tidy with good facilities. Can't go wrong. - Superb location. Clean, tidy and comfortable rooms. The vibe of the hotel was good, and the breakfast and facilities that I used were good. My first time at a Malmaison hotel, and I would definitely stay again. Staff helpful and friendly too. Nothing comes to mind.
- Björkman (8/5): -
- Guang (9/5): - Nice vibe

Receptionist a bit indifferent.

- Emma (8/5): -
