- Yanis (10/5): Great stay in Tegus - The staff was so nice and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and different the 2 days we were there. The room was tight but we were a group of three and had lots of luggage. They offer to use the washing machine and dryer. (small amount charged for detergent). The highlight for our little one was the pool, which was mostly just for us since guests would be out during the day. The location is a bit far from attractions, but most things in Tegucigalpa need to be reached by car anyway. Close by is a small shopping center with restaurants, around 10mins walk. I would definitely recommend this place. Communication through the Booking platform was non-existent but we managed to call the place directly.

Pool would be great if not for the noise from young guests blaring music very loud every day for hours. Breakfast is decent. Shower was good. There were a number of one-off problems, like then not being and to get into the room assigned, and then a good in my new room that we everything on the floor and forced a new room. (No compensation offered). Others that reject lack of care -- like soap dispensers that kept falling apart. My emails to the hotel were never answered. Often there was no one at the front desk A bunch of other problems not with repeating. For the price, it should have been better. The location is not convenient to almost anything without a car, though there are 1-2 restaurants within walking distance.

The personnel were very helpful especially Pamela and Alexis I didn’t like the stairs but because of that, they were able to move us to a ground level suite and we didn’t have to pay extra. - Martinez (7/5): Liked the place very much, but will think whether I will return or not. - Location, comfort, nicely decorated, willing to provide dinner for client to heat in micro-wave, willing to provide transport. The night guard/receptionist had initiative and truly mastered handling the reception and showed initiative for problem solving. 1) The bathroom: water temperature not ideal and water leaking out of the shower. 2) Starting arrangements for transport to the airport two days in advance, and at the very last minute, service failed; they argued mechanical problems but did not have a system in place to solve the problem and I ended managing to get an Uber at 4:00 am. Only after I expressed my disappointment and pointed out that management at another hotel would have already presented an apology, I received an apology letter about 10 hours later, too little too late.

- Delphine (10/5): Perfect place for a family holiday, we highly recommand it! - We really appreciated: the cleanliness, the excellent location (close to malls and shops), the parking space always available, the kindness of staff, very courteous and helpful. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, washing machine and dryer saved us money and a lot of time! The pool is not huge but very enjoyable! Breakfast was what we wished for: Honduran typical breakfast!

- Michele (3/5): I would not return - The hotel staff booked two taxis for us, and it was OK. They also had laundry service, which was pricy but fine. The room was just fine, with a spacious bathroom. The hotel is in a residential and quite area. Good breakfast. The hotel is in a residential area, far from everything and hidden. If you don't have a car, your options are limited to taxis and Tegucigalpa's terrible Uber service. We had to insist on the lady making us breakfast because she was doing laundry and didn't want to prepare us with some fried eggs, which was her job. On the day we left, we had to leave early to take a bus, and we kindly asked if they could arrange breakfast early for us (as it comes with the room). We had to insist many times until they said yes for something we had already paid (and we had this conversation the morning before our departure). OVERPRICED (90USD the night) for what you get. Also the laundry service was crazy expensive.

There was no area available area for smokers,rather than the parking lot, and going all the way out for a smoke was not what I prefer. They have a very charming pool area they could be a good spot for this area, inside of the property and safe, or at least at nights.

People so friendly, they made my stay very pleasant. Very helpful, for example with ordering food after hotel restaurant closes. Great breakfast. Nice rooms and bed. Nice pool area. Safe area in this not really safe town.

- Ricardo (10/5): We enjoyed our overall time at the guijarros. - First of all, the welcoming was pretty much on point, our space which was an apartment was well equipped with a washing machine and dryer. Our breakfast was excellent I impersonally liked the fact that the ladies were able to made me my eggs to my liking. The pool was the best rated according to the kids. They loved enjoying time with some friends in it. The only downside which is not a big deal was waiting for someone to move their car so we could get out and about our day.
- King (3/5): Do not recommend for foreigners - Staff was very friendly. Super safe location. There was no restaurant as advertised. We missed a supper 1 night and the second night the hotel had to order us food from outside and it took 1.5 hrs to receive it and they tried to charge me delivery. I was overcharged for my food and drink bill at check out. And we found a possible camera in our room. The staff said it was a sensor to control lights but the lights and ac never went off while we were out for hours. No management on site and front desk is only open from 730am to 8pm. There is nothing close by and you must take taxi anywhere you have to go.

- Leslie (10/5): Exceptional - Safety is my priority no matter where I go, and Aparthotel Guijarros offers just that, Safety. The staff were professionals and they were very friendly. The rooms were cleaned. The atmosphere is welcoming. I was impressed by the staff and their willingness to assist. I am definitely staying there again. I am also recommending it to my friends and family. I have nothing negative to say. I was only staying one night, but I changed it to 3 nights.
