Guest Reviews
- ieuan (8/5): Pretty good, would stay again - Very spacious and well kitted, easy access and parking, was close enough Had to pay for parking after advertised as coming with parking… rather loud fan in one room and the beds weren’t super clean

- Michael (9/5): Once again a fabulous stay over in Eccles. It is a great springboard for anywhere in Manchester. - Another great stay over in Eccles for the football. Unlike others the check in codes and apartment details are sent out early in the morning whereas we've been kept waiting at other properties. We have stayed in these apartments several times and will do so again. Eccles is a great place with top transport links, great pubs and any amount of food outlets. I've seen other peoples reviews nitpicking about all sorts of things. My word on it is it's Eccles not Las Vegas and it's not the Hilton either but also not Hilton prices. It is our go to place for staying over in Manchester.

- Michael (10/5): Fabulous roomy apartment with great facilities and great transport links at hand. - This is the third time our group have stayed at three different apartments at this property and all of them have the same very good facilities in them. All have multiple beds and bed settee's and two bathrooms too. The location in Eccles is really good for transport with an overland railway station just yards away and a short walk to the Metrolink at the end of the street. There are multiple pubs and food outlets only yards away. The communications from the owner are first class and always in good time to access the apartment. We are already booked for another stay in a couple of weeks time. Nothing

- Kirsti-anne (1/5): Never again. A lot to be sorted - Leaving? I am so upset over this stay. Everything. It was dirty, things falling apart walls had holes in it the doors didn’t lock. The bedding was dirty. It was advertised as 2 double sofa beds. There was 1. And then when I phoned my partner was argued with and hung up on. Then I received a text to say one was damaged and removed and there was no option. My sons are both autistic and one had to sleep on the floor. We had no sleep and honestly didn’t have the money to go to a replacement hotel. I am beyond disgusted. It was so dirty and I have a lot of pictures to show this. The communication was non existent. My son had to sleep on the floor which is beyond unfair. He has hyper mobility and struggles to get up and down. The whole apartment needs a full clean and repaint and everything repaired and it could be an amazing place. Customer services is a joke too….

- Michelle (2/5): Family trip overshadowed by serious cleanliness and safety issues, along with poor communication - The location was very good. Parking was around a 3–5 minute walk away and cost £3.50. There was a lovely Wetherspoons just around the corner where we went for tea on arrival. The apartment itself is very large and has plenty of space. It has real potential. The apartment was not properly cleaned, with broken glass, cigarette butts, old sweets and ants found under the beds, along with heavy dust on skirting boards. Ants were present in multiple rooms, there were broken plugs, exposed wiring, damaged wallpaper and a non-working TV, and there was a strong smell throughout the property that appeared to be masked with plug-in air fresheners. When we reported these concerns, the response was delayed and minimal, and although we were told to cancel and request a refund, we had to repeatedly chase both the host and Booking.com before the cancellation was finally approved.

- mikala (6/5): Needs alot of work and attention - I liked how big the place was very spacious close to pubs, shops, train station and buses Cooker hob cracked.
Could have done with more furniture in.
Walls were dirty loads of marks and dents.
Shower door clicked shut but bathroom still floods once you're in the shower, the water comes under door.
Ants everywhere.
Big frontroom very small TV kids size tele.
No TV in bedrooms.
No channel works on the tele in frontroom.
No WiFi says connect with no Internet.
Hair drying didn't work.
Stains on sofa and little stool in corner really stained.
Some plugs do not work.
When parking your car round the back got a parking ticket this place says 3.50 a day but that isn't right can't stay longer than 10 hours.
No cleaning products on sight.
Clothes rail in bedroom so flimsy as soon as I put a few things on it, it started bending to one side.
Floors is all damaged or uneven, chipped and coming apart.
Sink in bathroom has a big crack covering most of one side of the sink.
Bin in kitchen has a massive cracked in and was dirty.
Such a shame it's a big place very empty and very little care been put into the rooms and the space.
Shame it's only let's me put 4 pictures up
- mike (8/5): - Great location, easy to find, clean and tidy when arrived.
- Abiola (7/5): I will stay here again if the beddings are up to standard. - Beautiful place The bed and mattress in the upstairs bedroom was too dirty, pillows were also thin and dirty. The duvet is dirty and the cover were not ironed. Duvet too small for two people. The fold bed was also too old and dirty.
- Kapil (5/5): - No proper beds for 4 Adults and 2 kids as mentioned. The sofa in living room
- Thomas (10/5): Top value, taxi ride to Sale Sharkd - Convenient Everything was great
- Lexie (10/5): -
- Muzammil (4/5): - Value for money specious place Next to train station with noise and upstairs disturbance
- Muddasser (10/5): Excellent for families, great price, would stay again! - Great, conveniant location.
Very good size and space.
Towels, pillows, bedsheets and blankets were nice clean and decent quality.
Price was very good.
Definitely a family friendly place. The sofas and some of the living spaces and walls were a little grubby and unclean.
Could do with a fresh lick of paint and a good clean on the sofas.
- adib (8/5): -
- texin (7/5): - Location Need more attention to detail for cleanliness
- Olwen (6/5): Pleasant stay in a very convenient location for the train to the city centre & the Trafford centre. - The amount of space was completely unexpected. The living-room was huge and it was almost like having a "Granny flat" downstairs! More towels, in particular hand towels & dish towels, and the freezer needs defrosting.
- Kimberley (10/5): - Brilliant place to stay! I wanted to live there :)
Huge place with two floors, so extra privacy in the room downstairs and a second bathroom. The kitchen was lovely and clean, and everything we needed was there.
We were very impressed!
Excellent value for money!
- Chelsie (9/5): Nice location, very clean -
- Daniel (7/5): Fantastic value for money, plenty of space for two families, excellent location. - Location. Close to train and tram stations. Chinese sit in and take away resturant next door. Car park really close and good value £3.50 for 24 hours. Lots of space in the property Showing some wear and tear and fittings, wood flooring. Some bare wires from downstairs ceiling and downstairs bathroom light switch not secure to wall
- Chanty777 (5/5): - Nice little apartment and I would stay there again. Needs a little spruce up. Key safe is in an awkward position when its.dark its hard to see
May also need better cleaner but possibly because it was a last minute booking to be fair to them.
- Janice (8/5): - Great value for money plenty of space and clean
- Aleli (9/5): Convenient and easy access - Location None
- Holly (10/5): Pleased that we chose this place for our stay will definitely stay here again in the future - Comfy beds, whole apartment was clean, bathrooms clean, couldn’t fault the place
- Gabriel (10/5): -
- Alexander (8/5): -
- stacey (9/5): Massive place - The place is massive ! Has everything you nead and more It's a bit noisy the walls are paper thin and the fella next door was up all night
- Lucianne (6/5): - Location for where we were visiting was perfect , & the property was spacious The sofas are so uncomfortable, tv signal was poor due to the WiFi & the top bathroom smelt terrible , also no antibacterial cleaning products for toilets/kitchen sides which I think is important so guests can wipe down before & after use
- Habeebat (6/5): Good experience - The environment and proximity to the city center, the property the clean and spacious The mattress is very weak and causes body pain, if the owner can consider changing it. Also, no foot mat in the bathrooms, the bath tub doesn’t have a shower curtain which results to water spilling out when bathing. No soap hanger in the shower.
- Richard (10/5): Just right - Space,cleanliness,facilities
- Danielle (10/5): - Beautiful appartment
Well worth the money
Right next to the train station, perfect location
Would definetly book here again
- Stefan (8/5): -
- Lisa (7/5): Good location , very large apartment, great for short stopovers. Great transport links. - Very large apartment and modern decor. Very comfortable bed. Good location. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Very clean and fresh. Only 3 towels for 4 guests no hand towels in the bathroom.
Couldn't get the TV to work properly as the Internet didn't work very well if at all.
Freezer door magnetic strip hanging off.
- Tilak Karthik (10/5): -
- KRISHNENDU (10/5): -
- Aseem (9/5): -
- Muhammad (9/5): Amazing, thanks Joe - Very spacious
Well planned out
Modern and feels luxurious There was a slight smell of damp and the beds had some marks on them so could have done with some cloths / bedsheets
- Phillip (10/5): - The apartment was very clean and well organized. Nothing , everything was perfect
- Ventachellum (5/5): Apartment is fine, good location, PARKING IS NOT FREE - very spacious and good location The bedroom downstairs was very mustyn not much ventilation.
The shower leaked and almost flooded the floor.
Parking was described as FREE but was not, we received a parking ticket.
- Rachel (4/5): Has potential, needs improvement - Proximity to train station and car parking (very reasonably priced) The property was incredibly unclean, we moved the bed downstairs to create space for the pull out mattress and found nails, cigarette butts, and lots of peanut shells. The entire property is in need of a refresh as there’s lots of questionable marks on the paintwork etc. Fire alarms were hanging from the ceiling, hardly reassuring on whether they were working!!

- Philip (9/5): The Stay is Spacious and It has all the amenities needed for us . - The Stay was Spacious and it had all the Utilities needed for us , Over all it was a Great place . One of the bathroom Floor tile Needs a repair as i believe it has a Water damage on the bathroom floor and Also One of the couch needs a good cleaning as a i have seen quite a lot of Stains on it .
- Ron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Omar (10/5): A nice stay, would book again - Location and cleanness Nothing
- Mohamed (4/5): Disappointing - Location is 20 minutes away from the city centre (Piccadilly Station); however, the train station is next to the house which makes it accessible to move around. The house is big enough for 5 adults. The shower was clogged and despite several texts, the owner didn't send anyone to fix the problem. Couches in the living room are not comfortable. Not enough hangers for clothes in the washroom.
- Julie (5/5): Passable -
- Sarin (5/5): Passable - I didn't like this stay, it was not clean. The sofa and the bed were not great and also the sofa is very old, dirty and has holes. The picture in the advertisement was a picture from far which was looking amazing, but in reality, it was bad. I struggled staying here The sofa and bed
- Kayani (6/5): Honest opinion - The room in basement as it was cooler than the oven upstairs No air condition and the floor in upstairs needs changing as its rotten and smells of damp. Great place if these issues are addressed. I stayed there before and it was in a better condition then I will certainly stay there again if I need to.
- Skidmore (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (4/5): Noisy and damp smelling - The location was convenient for getting into Manchester. The staff were helpful and allowed us to check in early. The shower room has obviously overflowed for a long time as the floor was rotten in places from being wet. The room was totally flooded after a short shower. The apartment had lots of air fresheners to try and cover the smell of damp throughout. It is very close to the train station and the trains were really loud. Also, not very sound proofed - the neighbours were having a party until 6am and we could hear everything. Not a very good night’s sleep.
- Scott (6/5): Out stay at unique properties apartment 5 in Eccles Manchester - It was a good place to stay. The apartment was huge a lot bigger than I expected. The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect for what we needed. We arrived a little earlier than expected and managed to get the key early. I'm a very house proud person so for me it was very rough around the edges e.g the upper bathroom floor was warped badly the shower head was didn't fit with the shower fitting on the wall, the plumbing in the shower drained slowly so you had to take a quick shower or the water would over flow (I'm guessing that's what happened to the floor), the main wall in the living room had marks on the wall that looked like someone had been spitting on it, there was some black mold on the sealant in the downstairs bathroom. The couches were uncomfortable to sit on no cushioning whatsoever I think one of them was broken (maybe not tho ).
- Scott (1/5): Did not stay only good point was got a refund immediately - Nothing, pictures are filtered Nothing like photos
- Katherine (2/5): Very poor -
- Sairah (7/5): An okay experience of stay as very spacious apartment - Located near grocery shops
Very spacious Located near train station
You can hear neighbours talking and trains rumbling during night
Check-in directions can be more clearer
Lounge sofas and environment need significant improvement
- Muhammad (1/5): Bad -
- Beyene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abayomi (7/5): Good - Modern kitchen No free tv channels to watch and WiFi not functioning
- Jayden (8/5): Lovely accommodation and loved it! Would definitely recommend again. - Lovely stay. Kitchen was nice, bedrooms were nice. An overall good accommodation Just about the trains. How every time a train passes, then we can hear it when we are sleeping.
- Sleeman (8/5): Very good - Apartment was great for the price. Would have been great but spoilt by the smoke alarm beeping constantly all night which kept my daughter and kids awake most of the night
- John (4/5): Rubbish - Bleeping noise loud all night
- Mary (1/5): Very Dissapointing. Finally got through to host via email. No offer of apology or offer of refund. - The spaciousness A loud noise coming from a cupboard in bedroom 2. Meant bedroom could not be used.
Host uncontactable. Tried Phoning several times number not connecting. Struggled to carry double mattress up a flight of stairs so that one couple could sleep on lounge floor.
- Lee (7/5): Good -
- Melissa (9/5): Superb -
- Lucy (6/5): Pleasant - Clean!!! Despite age. cool despite hot weather, wallpaper new, kitchen smart. Poor sofas, felt like sitting on wooden slats. Lack of light and bedroom actually in basement (with a small roof light). Quality poor and well used.
- Kristina (8/5): Brilliant, home from home, spacious!! - Great apartment and definitely worth what I paid for it.
We will book this again next time we come to Manchester.
I do wish there was a few extra pillows, and more cooking equipment.
Sofas wasn't too comfortable and the bed upstairs could do with a new mattress....HOWEVER we loved it! It was clean and smelt lovely. The shower was beautiful and the bed downstairs was lovely! Took us a few mins to find it but once in it was great! The car park is a 1 minute walk with plenty of spaces to park.
You can hear the train when in the living room but downstairs nothing! And it didn't stop us sleeping in the upstairs bedroom.
Thank you very much! Would of loved extra pillows, a few more oven pans. And the bed in the upstairs room wasnt comfortable however it didn't stop me from sleeping.
- Jonathan (9/5): Really nice and I would book again - This is a newly altered property into a set of 6 self contained falts. The car park is about a minutes walk away and although not secure seems to be safe. I checked on the crime stats for the area and there were no car break ins. That said my car has a number plate that looks 3 years old. Getting the keys was no problem. The entrance and lounge area is a big space. The bedrooms are a nice size and each has access to a WC and shower. Towels were left for me. There is a restaurant next door but I ate in. There is a Morrisons and a big Aldi nearby. There was tea and coffee as well as a small amount of cleaning stuff. I would book here again. It is close to rail and bus/tram links. The immediate area is OK BUT overall this area is still run down and if a single female I would have felt intimidated. The property is great BUT it could do with a tea towel and oven mitts. Getting hot dishes out of the oven was a problem. The freezer needs defrosting. I had brought some oven chips and needed to keep them frozen but I could not get into the freezer section of the really nice fridge. These small points are an easy fix. The Wi Fi did not seem to work speedily so I used my hotspot. It is next door to the railway station so you hear the trans pass. This was no issue to me but others may see this as an issue. At the end of the day I had a great stay and would book again.
- Prestige (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (5/5): Really disappointed due to cost - Location No wifi working, ridiculously expensive, tatty flooring, sunken mattresses etc..
- Diana (8/5): Very good -
- Chloe (5/5): Photos do not represent state of apartment - The location was good and close to public transport links. The kitchen was also modern and clean. The remainder of the property was worn and unkempt in most places. The bathroom had worn floor and the sofas were dirty and uncomfortable. The tv channels/ WiFi did not work reliably. The toilet was also blocked by previous guests (not within hosts control) but they did not let us know this until an hour and a half after check in. This impacted our stay as plumbers were present unblocking the toilet which was not pleasant. The apartment next door also was very loud, despite the rules prohibiting parties, the guests were very loud until 5am resulting in very little sleep.
The trains were also close by to the apartment and therefore were loud. There was also insufficient blinds/ curtains to avoid light coming in in the morning.
- Armin (7/5): Good -
- Anthony (2/5): Noisy - Nothing The noise of the trains as it was next to a station.
The bed was so uncomfortable and was like being on bare springs
WiFi poor
- Meg (8/5): Very good -
- Gajic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (2/5): Very poor - Not very much The living room sofas were very uncomfortable to sit on. The TV didn't work. It wasn't overly clean and there were a pair of pants at the bottom of the radiator in the bathroom downstairs. It is beside a train station and the trains started passing through about 4.30am which creates a shudder and noise in the house. The only plus was the Chinese next door was delicious. I wouldn't return to this house
- Mutingwa (9/5): It was amazing n I loved it definitely coming back again - I love how big it is it’s quite good The Tv 😭 I wish it worked but everything was amazing
- Abubaker (10/5): New property and clean, good service and great location - New, clean, good service and great location
- Lidia (7/5): For short stay is ok, very good location but few things needs to be improved - Location was perect for us, 2 bathroom - perfect, square footage of the apartment - perfect Floor was dirty, two sofas in living room dirty with small holes, only one towel per person awaliable, in first bathroom floor was damaged, no channels available on TV, the fire alarm sensor was hanging from the ceiling on one screw.
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - Perfectly situated property close tontransport links and town centre. Good communication from the owner before and throughout. Really good sized property for the price. Can't recommend highly enough.
- Marwan (8/5): Very good -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Şafak (5/5): Passable -
- Mandy (8/5): Church Street, Eccles - It was very unusual. I liked the layout. Very close to local bars and restaurants. Sofas not the most comfortable... they have seen better days.
- Eichie (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Kay (6/5): Roomy but beds not great - Huge apartment, well equipped, cental Eccles. Beds not comfortable, particularly sofa beds (which were also a bit grubby!). Plastic bottle from previous occupants under sofa. Suited our needs and reasonably priced.
- Faye (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (8/5): Would recommend to family and friends. We enjoyed ourselves. - Very big and spacious. Clean Sofas and beds weren’t comfortable
- Sarah (1/5): Awful - Not much Apartment was filthy, floors were sticky, bathrooms smelled of urine, furniture was disgusting. A rough location. Heating wouldn't work, reported it to host who was rude and sent someone around to look at it who barely spoke English and did nothing. Host had no manners when contacted them.
- Debbie (8/5): Apart from previous comments we found the property clean and spacious. And very reasonably priced - One of the beds was uncomfortable. Both put you up sofa beds were very hard., there was no springs on them., and dirty. Big gaps in flooring in kitchen and shower. Shower itself kept falling down, water pressure not very good. The noise coming from other parts of the property was loud and kept us awake.
- Wallace (7/5): Fair! - Nice and clean, very big, good value car park. 2 double rooms and one with a spare fold out bed. 2 bathrooms. Good location and great communication from the host as well as good instructions. Wifi and heating working great. Really modern decor and well equipped kitchen The upstairs bathroom floor needs re-dooing. The laminate is lifting and broken. Really noisy from the train track and people upstairs. TV has a pixel line going across so was hard to watch. Sofas need a good clean.
