• Margaret (10/5): A great find, and absolutely perfect for our large group. - Impeccable. Lots of space. Comfy beds. Hot showers. It was all great. Personally, I’d add some planting in the back garden area, but it in no way spoiled our stay.

Love that little squares on the wall are provided so we can hang banners up without damaging the wall! What a great idea!

• louise (9/5): Lovely accommodation that was spacious - Very clean and spacious rooms, We had 8 of us staying and we all comfortably fit in. Plenty of space in the fridge and a nice outdoor space even though we didn't use it too much. Staff were also very friendly. The only thing we found off-putting was the rules, and did think are we going to get a pile of unreasonable charges. Not the welcoming tone you'd expect but it wasn't a problem at all. I thought the charges for the hot tub were a bit steep so we didnt use (this was stated beforehand so expected)

Everything was there whatever you need with 3 kids - Such a nice property, at lovely location, spacious rooms , very good and comfortable with kids Could have been better of small shampoo; tooth paste and body wash was available.

• Hayley (10/5): Fabulous villas in a lovely location, perfect for family celebrations - Fabulous property, idea for family get-togethers as multiple villas can be booked next to each other. Very well appointed inside, and the large outdoor space has hot tubs and BBQs. Staff very friendly also. Quiet location, a short drive away from Loch Lomond. The sharp turning to get into the property from the Stirling direction is unexpected! But outwith Westertonhill's control (could do with some signage from the main road possibly). Taxis can be a bit tricky too - recommend booking in advance and having cash.

The outdoor area was a great size, we didn’t use this as much with it being winter but would be great in the summer. Amazing value for money. There’s not much I could say in terms of room for improvement. Maybe some fairy lights outside for when it gets dark for the hot tub, but that is being really picky!

• Duncan (10/5): Beautiful place. - Really spacious, everything immaculate, supercomfy beds. The hot tub and outside area was great. We had a lovely relaxing couple of days. Nothing. If I could think of one thing it would have been nice to have some bathrobes for coming out of the hot tub.
• Angela (7/5): Some changes needed - Lovely cottages & very handy when coming from Glasgow. The hot tub wasn't warm enough Friday night or most of Saturday. It only got to a decent temperature late on Saturday night after I had asked for it to be put to maximum that morning. Not ideal when your paying extra for the luxury. They're needing to put hooks on the gazebo that sits over the hot tub for hanging towels/dressing gowns. A ledge of some description needed beside the hot tub to sit your drinks. The double beds are far too small for 2 adults. We reckon they were small doubles rather than a double bed. 1 small frying pan is not sufficient for 6 adults. For what you're paying, small toiletries like soap, shampoo, and conditioner should be provided.

Took a walk as a group at cashel - Lovely location and great size across two lodges for what we wanted as a group. The main deluxe one had enough communal area for all 13 of us to be together as a group as opposed to split into the two lodges

There were 8 of us & the whole place was very comfortable for us. We also had a dog there all weekend, very pet friendly. It was also very easy to communicate with the owner & the staff were all very friendly. Hot tub could have been a bit warmer but was still enjoyable.

• Christoph (10/5): Beautiful cottages around Loch Lomond - Several beautiful and nearly newly built cottages await the visitor. The furniture and appliances were top notch, everything was clean and check-in and check-out were excellent and easy. It's very quiet and a short walk from Balloch through the park so you don't need to take a car or taxi if you want to go for Dinner or a drink. The caretaker was very friendly and knowledgeable. It could do with a few more pans in the kitchen. A coffee maker that isn't Nespresso would be nice so you could actually get some coffee pods at the shop. With all that being said, it was an excellent stay and these complaints are fairly small compared to our overall great experience.

Could not rate it any higher!! - Hot tub and garden area stunning, beautiful, spotlessly clean accommodation, and the extra touches to make it feel like home. Staff could not be more helpful. Beds comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need. It far exceeded our expectations and will not hesitate to recommend to others, indeed, we will be back ourselves! Nothing!

Location is great being out amongst farms but close drive to many things to do in Loch Lomond. Quite pricey but seems fair Vs other properties in area and the quality offered. We got a decent offer so was good deal for us so we were happy!

Lack of cutlery so had to put dishwasher on every time we had something to eat. One of the bedrooms upstairs had to go downstairs to use toilet as the other two bedrooms upstairs had en-suite shower rooms. Would have like to have seen hooks on the back of doors in bedrooms as nowhere to hand things. No bedside tables in the bedroom without the en-suite.

We had steak one night for dinner and had to cook them in 2’s. Obviously not a major issue!

• Gail (8/5): great family weekend - good location, quiet area, very warm and comfortable inside, rooms spacious and clean Its worth noting the hot tub area is separate from the house, It is in a communal area where other guests can walk past. Each house has an enclosed/gated patio area. There was also no grass area for the dog to do the toilet so we went a drive in the car to the nearest park. If the hot tub was on the same level as the house it would have been perfect.

The only down side was that there was no outdoor lighting in the seating area or above the hot tub. We found it extremely dark in the evenings. We would have sat outside having there been lights.

Wifi coverage / speeds were pretty poor in Lodge 7. With mobile signal also ropey, this wasn’t ideal with a house full of kids but it just about held up…
• Jennifer (10/5): Stunning lodge - The lodge is stunning, fully equipped with high quality facilities. Spotlessly clean and warm. Loved the garden and the farm/countryside views. Great kitchen and bathrooms with powerful hot showers. No expense spared on the interior. Thanks for a great stay. Not a negative by any means as we loved it but slightly over priced for the location as it is not easily accessible and need transport to get to the loch and/or attractions. This would not prevent me from booking again as it was a lovely stay. Thank you
